Udaariyan fame Abhishek Kumar talks about costars Priyanka Chahar & Ankit Gupta’s relationship

Bigg Boss 16 contestants Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Ankit Gupta who rose to fame with their stint in Udaariyan have been making headlines for their off-screen chemistry too. There has a buzz about the two having feelings for each other. While the two keep saying that they are good friends, the contestants of Bigg Boss 16 along with their fans can’t seem to believe that it is just “friendship”.

Actor Abhishek Kumar, who is also a part of Udaariyaan talked about it during a recent interview and shared that Priyanka and Ankit are indeed just buddies. During an interview with BT, he shared, “Priyanka and Ankit are good friends. They are not in a relationship. I say this because I’m very close to them and have been around them all the time on the sets. We all used to spend a lot of time together. The audience enjoyed their chemistry in the show and I guess that’s the reason why their friendship is misinterpreted. That time has gone when people felt a man and woman couldn’t be friends. Just because two people spend time together, it doesn’t mean they are in a relationship. In fact, friendship is the most beautiful relationship ever.”

When asked about Ankit and Priyanka’s overall involvement in the Bigg Boss 16 house, Abhishek said, “I also feel something is missing or maybe they are taking time to adjust. Both of them are very energetic and what we could call Bigg Boss material. I think they will soon take over in the house with their fun and craziness.”

Upon being asked about his reaction if they actually become more than friends in the house, Abhishek replied, “It will be surprising for me but one never knows what can happen. If that happens, I will be happy for them.”

Meanwhile, during a recent episode, Priyanka expressed his feelings for Ankit and confessed to having feelings for Ankit since Udaariyaan. She also mentioned that she knows and understands that Ankit does not share the same feelings for her.
