Many new television shows have been on the trail of launching with some exciting storylines. Channels have been churning out new shows with some exceptionally intriguing storylines. Now, a new show which is an adaptation of a famous Bengali show under the banner of Cockcrow and Shaika Films will go on air soon.
Actor Tushar Dhembla who is known for his stint in Udaariyaan is all set to essay the lead in an upcoming show. The show is a remake of the famous Bengali show Gaatchora and will be produced under the banner of Cockcrow and Shaika Films.

Tushar talked about it during an interview with BT and shared, “It’s a remake of the Bengali show Gaatchora, the story is about the three brothers which will be played by Vijayendra Kumeria, Jatin Arora, and me. I recently did the mock shoot for the character and I got finalized for the character. We three are the main leads for the show.”

The actor was determined to do only lead roles after Udaariyaan, talking about it he said, “I was very particular about choosing the project after Udaariyaan, as mentioned earlier, I wanted to play characters that had substance to what they were offering to the show and I preferred going for a good channel and lead when I got a call for this one I had to agree as it was a StarPlus show adding a lead role. It does give me a way better platform to explore as an actor, I was looking for this opportunity and was shortlisted for the role for two months but had taken up another project in between. Later, when they called me back we decided to do the mock shoot and finalize the role.”

When asked about the reason behind quitting Udaariyaan, he replied, “The show was taking a leap and they were planning a 15 years leap. So the character, look and everything would change. My character had no room for growth as it wasn’t strong enough to grab appreciation. It was a great opportunity but I realized that I wanted to do something big and I decided to look out for opportunities and quit the show,” he concluded.
