Chakor introduces the villagers to Karan Oberoi. He is the one who gave 10 lac worth prize to Gauri as well. He is a builder and will be doing development work in Azaadganj. Chakor’s father was thankful to Karan. Chakor’s mother had a reservation that a builder in Sunerganj destroyed every house in the name of development. Karan joins his hands promising he didn’t come for destruction, he came to build up. He helps an old woman pull up water from the well. He promises the residents to plant water pumps all around the village. No one from the village will have to suffer on the well then. He believes everyone here is a family; and as a family member promises them to never let them suffer again. The villagers clap for Karan.
At night, Sooraj tries to make up Chakor’s mood. She was annoyed as he got suspicious to Karan. Chakor says if Karan Oberoi had mind his questions and returned, her dreams would have been ruined. She only wish to get Azaadganj developed. Sooraj tells Chakor she is afraid Karan Oberoi wants to take over Azaadganj but Chakor wasn’t convinced and asks him to help her. On the other side, Karan Oberoi stops his car on a road side and says he wish to see what Azaadganj has to offer him. Sooraj tells Chakor he only wish she doesn’t have to regret any of her decisions later. He also wish roads, buildings and mills in Azaadganj, but what if they have to pay a heavy price for it in return. Chakor convinces Sooraj that she wants his support and is sure nothing will go wrong. Sooraj holds her closer, and says he will always support her but he has to protect her as well. Chakor tells Sooraj it’s only a husband who can protect his wife, he would always need his support no matter how much she succeeds in life. Chakor was now worried about being late and leaves for home. They spot Karan walking towards his car. Sooraj wonders what he as doing here at this time of night. Sooraj and Chakor stop him and comes to him. Karan explains he came here to see the moonlit land, he would be investings millions on this same land and wanted some peace to take the decision. He appreciates Sooraj’s practices in farming of silk; and complements its his quality that made Chakor fell in love with him. He says he wants a companion on his way now, and wonders where to find such a support for himself. He takes a leave and drives away. Chakor was against convinced of Karan’s personality. Sooraj says he could sense Karan wants them to work with him, but he wasn’t ready to take orders from anyone.
It was morning. Chakor’s mother suggests about a pooja for Sanvi. They point towards an old woman who had suggested about it. Since both mothers were convinced, Sooraj decides to sit in the pooja. The old woman was Imli in disguise. Sanvi begins crying because of smoke during the Havan. Chakor tries to save her from the smoke. The old woman says this smoke will help save Sanvi from any evil eye. Chakor finally stands up to stop this all, Sanvi’s eyes are burning. The old woman calls it a bad omen but Sooraj and Chakor calls to stop this pooja.
PRECAP: In the hiding, Imli watched Sanvi’s photo curtly determined to kill her as a revenge from Chakor and Sooraj.
