CHAPTER 29 – Losing the challenge

TWINKLE (POV)
“Make it K” Kunj whined , making all the girls giggle in excitement. I cursed under my breath and shook my head annoyed. “Can’t you just go already?” I grumbled shoving him away with my non-henna hand.
“Nope. My sister here wants me to take care of everything” he smiled at Payal and she nodded her eyes twinkling in excitement. Yeah right! Kunj is nothing but pain in the ass.
And right now he kept on disturbing the girl who was applying henna on my hand to write a ‘K’ instead of ‘T.’ And I kept on nudging her to write a ‘T’
He sighed and turned around checking on the food arrangements as I bent down to whisper to the girl , “Make it K’ she smiled before nodding and went back to her what she was doing. I silently watched Kunj as he kept on instructing them about the organisation of ….food?
What more can you expect from this perfectionist ?

“You’re still up?” Kunj asks surprised as he enters the room and I nodded silently as he kept his coat on the bed. “Can’t sleep?” he asks again and I literally shove my hands in his face to show him the mehndi.
“Ohhh…but still keep them away from me. I don’t like it’s smell at all” he declared moving towards the couch as he opens his laptop. “You are such a…man” I completed feeling his gaze upon me. “You had any doubts earlier?” he questions leaning back and I shrugged my shoulder as he fake gasped.
“I should have known. How can you doubt my masculinity? Look at all these muscles and of course….these eight packs” I scoffed at his exaggeration and he sighed muttering an ‘Unbelievable’
He went back to his work and I grumbled mentally. Really? We are on a vacation and here he is , probably working.
Well twinkle. Time to do things yourself. I got up from the bed and started walking towards the washroom. “Where to?” Kunj heads snaps up at me and I pointed towards the washroom , “Isn’t it obvious?”
He chuckles nodding , “Its not completely dry yet. So peacefully come over here and sit with me” I shook my head at him , “First thing , I’m hungry. Second , sit with you? And do what? Bore myself to death while you’re on your laptop”
He gave me an unbelievable look and I rolled my eyes. “I was just saying the truth..” I shrugged murmuring. “Come. Let’s get you something to eat”
He held my arm and I nodded walking with him outside with my heavily Lehenga. Well not heavy. But the fact that I wanted to be in my trousers right now. *sigh*
“What’s the time?” I asks as he looks on at his watch , “2 am” and my eyes widened. Yeah , the function did lasted till late. And not forgetting that my feet hurts so bad. Remind me never to dance in heels again.
Kunj bought us both food and we walked towards the pool area as I quickly asked him to feed me and he chuckled but stopped as I glared at him. “Who asked you not to have food earlier?”
I looked at him with a bored look , “You could have brought it for me. Never mind that my husband was wayyy to naive to understand that” I regretted the moment those words left my mouth and I sighed.
His smirk widened and he leaned closer to whisper , “Sooo you are saying that my WIFE… was too lazy to have food on her own and decided not to eat throughout the day” he purposely paused during the word wife.
Such a tease…
“Something like that..” I sheepishly admitted and he frowned , “You really didn’t have anything the whole day?”
“I just forgot about it…can you drop it now… I’m starving …” I pointed towards my burger and he nodded.

“Finalllyyy!” I breathed out a satisfied sigh changing my back to my trousers and T-shirt. “I feel so alive…” I sing-song and found Kunj working on his laptop again. I crossed my arms groaning and he looked at me confused.
“Vacation clearly has a rule. You don’t work during vacations” I spoke bluntly and he looked at me weirdly. “Fineeee… I’m just going to sleep in Mahi’s room” I admitted frustrated and seconds later I was pulled back by Kunj.
“Mhmm…” he kissed my neck wrapping his arms around my waist. “How am I gonna sleep if I won’t have my cuddle buddy with me?” he muttered and I sighed wrapping my arms around his torso.
He stroked my hair gently , “I take it as a sign that you’re tired” I wanted to laugh at his cuteness but just muttered a ‘hmm’ smiling although he couldn’t see me.
No wonder I keep falling in love with him every passing second.

“Yessss!” I screamed on top of my lungs jumping crazily only to be pulled back by an annoyed Rohan. My back hits the bean bag and I laughed at him. “It’s not fair. Kunj helped you that’s why you won”
He threw the controller on the side receiving a long stare from the game room in charge. “Sorry…” he sheepishly grinned grabbing the controller back from the ground. “Oh my little friend. Hope you aren’t hurt. See , he isn’t hurt”
Rohan hissed the last part to the in charge caressing the controller if it was a living thing and I hid my face trying to control my laughter. “Sooo let’s decide the punishment now”
I rubbed my hands excitedly and Rohan groaned taking a seat next to me. Earlier this morning , Rohan thought it would be fun to have a game challenge. I haven’t played any game except just dance on Xbox 360.
But he said I had to beat him in Fifa. And well I did. But Kunj helped me the whole time.
I smirked making up my mind about his punishment and he gave me a worried look , “Well well , you have to wear hot pink tights , with a shirt of your choice. And dark red lipstick to our dinner tonight”
His mouth fell open and I could hear the rest of them laughing madly. “NO f**kING WAY!” he yelled grabbing a cushion and stuffed his face inside screaming and I grinned.
“I hate you!” he groaned walking out of the game room and I yelled back , “I love you more. Be read at 9” I chuckled as he walked out and I turned facing Kunj who was lost deep in thoughts.
“Hey..” I whispered leaning close to him and he looked at me with a small smile. “You look pretty..” I traced my finger over his jawline and he smiled rolling his eyes. “Umm…Is there something that’s bothering you?” I questions mumbling and he sighed nodding pulling me closer.
“Would everything be the same after this vacation?” he whispered gently stroking my hair and I looked up to meet his eyes. “That’s not for you to worry about. I never expected I would be like this. Here with you again” I spoke slowly.
“With all of them. I know the past two years whatever happened was because of our stupidity. If you hadn’t kept everything to yourself and if I hadn’t left that day without listening to your side of story , maybe we didn’t had to stay away from each other for such a long time…”
I didn’t knew when I had began crying and he frowned wiping my tears away and pressed his forehead with mine. “I still haven’t explained my side of story…” he muttered and I sighed placing a hand right above his heart , “You don’t have to. You never giving up on me , says it all. I just wanna forget everything that happened that day.
We have got Rohan back and it’s all that matters. It was never your fault Kunj , never. You just did what a brother would do. And I’m sorry for being so idiotic but that day many people broke my heart. My step sister , my mother and unintentionally you..
But all I have got to say is that I’m sorry. I couldn’t think straight that day. Messed up thoughts and stupidity led to our separation but it’s all over. I have you back. We have ourselves back and that’s what matters to me.
And you know what…” I trailed looking up to him and he smiled , “What?” he questions kissing my cheek. “I got my husband back”
He chuckled leaning closer to kiss me but I placed a hand on his chest. “It’s alright…” he sighed but I quickly shook my head. “I need to lose the challenge..”
And just that moment I closed the distance between us pulling him closer and kissed him.

First lets just get straight to the point that I decided. I’m gonna write the next story about the bad boy and the nerd on kunj and twinkle.

I know you guys were pretty upset that this story is gonna end so that’s why I had to agree with you all and make the next one about kunj and twinkle too.
