Recap : The Kauravs plan to make Ashwathama the king and it is revealed that the person inside the Palanquin is Ashwathama. Ram, Bharat and Varun split to fulfill the important mission. The astrologer predicts struggles and the beginning of a golden era. A strange prediction scares Sati. Nandhini is with Duryodhan.
Chapter 4 Nandhini
The maid comes to Nandhini
Maid: Miss highness..please come inside before anyone sees you
Nandhini nods and starts to walk inside. Happiness and anger are fighting inside her
Nandhini in mind: Aditya…..you ridiculed my love and killed my father. Now be ready to leave the crown for which you left me…
As she walks inside she finds herself in a room decorated with gold and pearls. Duryodhan is sitting inside
Duryodhan: Thanks to your idea Nandhini if not we could not have brought this meeting successfully. Your father was our enemy but you are helping us
Nandhini: You have saved my life and honour. How can I not help you?
Duryodhan: Thats right..with the rumour of you marrying Aditya spreading people are starting to hate him..so will Jodha
Nandhini: I had the opportunity to visit Kekaya. The news is spreading there too. Good for you
Nandhini in mind: Aditya must lose everything…that Jodha..was another reason for him leaving me..they will never get together. And that witch Sita…she must suffer tooo
With Nandhini burning in hatred the scene freezes .
Next Morning
Jalandhar Palace, King’s chamber
King: Bharat do you need to leave for Mahishmati now? Cant you convey it to Duryodhan?
Bharat in mind: How will I tell about his plan to him?
This falls in Varun’s ears who is standing near him. He nudges him. Bharat jerks
Bharat: Pithaji in addition to it I need the blessings of the king after the completion of the voyage
King: Okay fine. I grant you permission. Take the ring of our kingdom you will be left in. Moreover Ill inform Duryodhan about you going there so that you can meet the king without any difficulty
Bharat is about to say something but he stops as Ram holds his hand. Bharat turns to him and sees Ram nodding his head asking him to say yes
Bharat: Okay pithaji.
Ram: King we will be leaving too. Give us leave
King: Ram why don’t you meet your father?
Ram: Pithaji wont prefer it.
King: Ill talk to him about forgiving you
Ram: Please dont strain yourself oh king. Give us leave
Varun and Ram get his blessings. Bharat hugs the king and the three of them leave after Bharat gets a parchment from Duryodhan to Dushasan to let him to the king.
Once out of the palace the three of them reach an intersection of paths in 3 different directions. They stop there. Ram takes the rolls in his hand and picks the roll with red silk thread and gives it to Bharat
Ram: Bharat from now this parchment is your responsibility.
Bharat: Ram Bharta Ill fulfill the job taken with full sincerity.
Ram: You have to leave now. And Ill come to Jalandhra while getting back from Mithila. But If I dont return within 15 days from now I want you to meet Prince Aditya
Bharat: But why?
Ram: This is a back up plan in case of any delay. Even if you are delayed in Mahishmati go straight to Indraprastha.
Bharat nods and hugs Ram and Varun and takes their leave. Once Bharat gets out of his sight Ram nudges Varun
Ram: Varun after you reach Kekaya dont blabber about the plan to Princess Jodha. She will be panicked. Just tell her something and manage for not meeting the king and from there rush to Indraprastha. Inform the Prince about everything
Varun: Will he trust me?
Ram: He will. He knows about you well. Be careful on the way
Varun: Ram be frank, do you suspect something? Those 15 days?
Ram leaves a deep sigh and : My instinct suspects something bad.
Varun: But?
Ram: Its nothing Varun. Lets start now. I must abandon my horse and take a boat to cross the river and there Ill get a new horse and leave for Mithila. Lets meet soon.
They part ways. The scene freezes
Boat
Ram gets inside a crowded boat. There his eyes catch someone familiar and its Hanuman
Hanuman: Hope you had great fun in the festivities . I heard that every event was awesome
Ram nods as he gets back to seeing Hanuman perched on the tree top listening to the conversation of Duryodhan and his allies. He understands that Hanuman is trying to get information from him and decides to turn the tables
Ram: You saw the festivities?
Hanuman: No…they didn’t allow me. I knew it thats why I wanted to come with you but your friend..so I slept in the temple
Ram smiles at his smart answer.
Hanuman: Where is your friend by the way?
Ram: He is unwell so is resting. Im going to get him certain medicines from the chief doctor of Mithila. Heard that Mithila had so many medical units
Hanuman: I don’t know about that but near Mithila the great sage Vashisht lives. He is a great scholar and his prescriptions of medicine and prediction of future are equally good.
After this they fall silent. The boat reaches the shore. Ram goes to get a horse while Hanuman follows one of the passengers. The person gets to a tree and walks to and fro around it when Hanuman again gets on a tree and sits comfortably. The man sits below the tree. The scene freezes
Anga
The palace of Anga is lit with all scented lamps. Queen Urvi is seen in her chamber lost in the thoughts of Karna.
Maid: Highness..message from King Karna..he is on the way from Indraprastha. He has asked you to make ships ready with food and supplies for the army in Lanka
Urvi comes to reality and gets the message from the maid. She smiles on seeing Karna’s handwriting
Urvi: Then make it ready. Ask the ministers to make everything ready. Our soldiers should not suffer anymore. I dont want any delay.
Maid: As you say your highness
Urvi: How many days will it take for the king to come back?
Maid: 3 nights and 2 days your highness
Urvi: Fine..then make arrangements for decorating the palace. We have to make his welcome grand
As the orders of Urvi are so clear the maid walks out to arrange them.
Urvi in mind: Finally he is getting back…the wait will be over..
She starts to dance in joy. Just then they here a huge noise from the outside of the palace. Urvi rushes there to find a girl beating many guys. She gets shocked
Urvi: Stop it…
The girl leaves the guys and bows to the queen
Urvi: What happened? Why are you fighting?
The girl: These guys spoke ill of Prince Arjun..how dare they?
Urvi: Thats something bad..but why did you beat them like this for that?
The girl: I can never take anyone abusing Prince Arjun
Urvi: Silly..whats your name?
The girl: Im Shubhadra…from the tribe of fishers who have come here from the pure land of Rameshwar
Urvi: Oh..those people who are here to help us with the sending of goods under the orders of King Krishna..and Shubhadra will you like to leave these guys and come with me for an important work
Shubhadra agrees and goes with Urvi. The scene freezes .
