In Restaurant:
Sid and Rhea almost completed their lunch and they were very late(it was almost evening time). They talked a lot about casual topics like best of friends. The party started around 4:30 PM and slowly the guests started to come. After bill payment, SidRhea stands up to leave.
Sid – Rhea, I think I will drop you at Kohli Mansion, and then I have some work at the office, I will be back by dinner time.
Sid POV:
Rhea, please stop me. I can postpone my work. I want to spend time with you.
Rhea – Okay
Rhea POV:
I don’t know why, but I like to spend time with him. I think I can wait for him in the office. But,
This thought was broken by someone who called out Rhea’s name from a distance. It was none other than her college best friend Dimpy. She rushes towards Rhea in the middle of the crowd and hugs her. She was just so excited to see rhea after so long.
Dimpy – Rhea, Oh my God! I can’t believe it’s you. I am just so happy to see you. Last time we met at the convocation ceremony of our college. Since then where were you? How much we all tried to find you. And see, today we are meeting again at our favorite hangout spot.
Rhea – Dimpy, take a deep breath, how much do you speak?
Dimpy – I am so so happy to see you. This reaction is nothing in front of the excitement I have to see you. By the way, where were you all this time?
Rhea – I was in Banglore for the last 1.5 years. Recently came to Delhi.
Dimpy – ohh… That’s the case, you know how much we all tried to contact you?
Rhea (diverting topic) – leave all that. Tell me what are you doing here?
Dimpy – Rhea, today is my engagement party here.
Rhea(excited) – What? Oh my god! I cannot explain how much I am happy for you. By the way, you liked Aryan … right? (teasing dimpy)
Dimpy – What are you speaking Rhea! Will you do the same now also as you used to do in college?
Rhea – Yes, of course, I am one and only Rhea!
Sid was surprised to see this side of Rhea as she did not speak much and he thought of her as a very silent and private person since her return from Bangalore. But, he liked this more.
Dimpy – I know. Because of you, no one looked at us during college. Everyone wanted to impress you and be in your good books… Except…
Rhea(understanding what she wanted to say) – You are right. I am the best.
Dimpy(letting go of that topic) – I agree. But, now you are here, I won’t let you go without attending my party. In fact, I sent 1 invitation card to your old residence too. You have to be there. We are BFFs.
Rhea then looks at Sid and Dimpy also realizes that he was standing next to her and listening to their conversation.
Dimpy – Who is he?
Rhea – Oh I am sorry. He is Sid. And sid this is Dimpy, My college best friend(looking towards sid)
Sid and Dimpy greet each other.
Dimpy(to sid) – You can also join the party. Rhea’s friend is my friend too.
SidRhea looked at each other.
Dimpy(in college chill tone) – Again you are looking towards each other. What’s the matter rhea. I won’t let you go without attending my function. Your friend can leave if he has some urgent meeting(as he was wearing formals)
Rhea was hurt by such words of Dimpy to Sid. And Sid was silently observing that
Rhea – If he will go then I also need to leave.
Dimpy – Why rhea, I am your best friend from school and you are ready to leave my engagement for new friends!
Rhea – He is not my friend. He is my Husband Dimpy.
Dimpy was shocked to learn that Rhea was married and then she noticed her mangalsutra and kumkum. Sid was delighted as rhea introduced him as her husband to her friend. Rhea was thinking what was her need to justify everything regarding Sid to Dimpy. Dimpy was so happy as Rhea finally moved on in her life. She hugs Rhea in excitement.
Dimpy – Congratulations Rhea. I am so so happy for you. Now you definitely have to attend this function. All our group is coming. They should also know that our Rhea is married. And, we want a party too.
Rhea was trying to figure out what to speak.
Sid – Yes sure. She will stay here. After all, she will get to meet her college friends after so long.
Dimpy – Thank you so much, Sid.
Sid (to rhea) – You enjoy here. I will pick you up after the party ends.
Dimpy – No Sid, you will also stay back. Because of you, I am able to meet my best friend after so long. And we also want to know about you and your wedding story.
Dimpy very much insists Sid to stay back. Sid looks towards Rhea and she gives a nod. Dimpy observes all this and is happy to see love for Rhea in Sid’s eyes just like Ranbir had for Prachi.
Sid – Okay then. I will just inform home that we will get late. You go and I will join soon. I also have to make some calls.
Rhea nods and Dimpy takes her along with her. Sid makes a call and informs Didaa regarding the party incident and how they have to stay back.
Pragya’s Meeting place:
Pragya was very much tired after completing the meeting that lasted for more than 2 hours. Abhi was on and off during the meeting. This did not go unnoticed by Pragya.She wanted to know about the matter and finally, after completion of all her day’s tasks, she can speak to him. They left the meeting venue.
In-car:
Pragya(bossing) – There is a nice coffee shop here. Stop there, I am very much tired and need a coffee.
Abhi nods without doing any argument with her. This again puts her in dilemma.
At coffee shop:
Sitting on a corner table, Pragya pretends to work and abhi is again lost. He was trying to figure out how to find Rhea. A waiter comes and places 2 cups of coffee, 1 in front of pragya and another in front of abhi. This breaks Abhi’s thought process. Abhi was first surprised that she ordered coffee for him being a boss. Something strikes him and he gives his evil naughty smile.
Abhi – Pragya, I think there is some mistake. This waiter sent 2 coffee mugs.
Pragya – What mistake? 2 people are sitting on this table then there will be 2 mugs only no.
Abhi – I don’t have a problem drinking coffee from your mug. Also, I don’t mind if you want to have coffee from my mug.
Pragya – What?
Abhi – Nothing.
Pragya (getting irritated) – have your coffee.
Pragya POV:
Why the hell did I come here with him. He will never change. He is just teasing me to get my attention so that he can prove that I am the old pragya. But, now that tricks won’t work Mr. Mehra.
Abhi takes a sip of coffee and loves it. But,
Abhi – What kind of coffee is this? Pathetic. Seriously, I have had bestest coffee in the world (made by Pragya) This is nothing in front of that. After becoming rich, your tastes are getting worse.
Pragya – What? I ordered the coffee that you like the most and ask to prepare it in the way you like (noticed by abhi). And this is one of the best cafes in Delhi. Your taste has got worse after your downfall.
Abhi – You don’t believe me. Then taste it.
Pragya takes a sip from his cup. She just loves it.
Pragya – It is perfect.
Abhi – You are lying. let me try it.
Abhi then drinks coffee from the side she had a sip. Pragya notices that and understands everything. She blushes a little
Abhi – Now it is perfect!!
Abhi and Pragya silently have their coffee looking at each other and they had a lot to speak. But, they both just wanted to enjoy this moment they got after so long without fighting.
On the other hand, Ranbir insist to drop Sushma aunty home as it was evening traffic time and she was carrying so many things in her hand. Also, she did not have a car that day. Sushma eventually agrees to Ranbir and arriving at the main gate,
Ranbir – Aunty wait, I will help you to take all stuff inside.
Sushma – No worries Ranbir. I will call the staff from inside.
Ranbir – Till then I will have to wait. You know I have planned a surprise. I am getting late. I will just drop you inside and take leave.
Sushma – Ohkay. Come inside.
Ranbir keeps all the shopping bags on the sofa and turns to leave when a frame with Pragya and Sushma’s pic falls down. He was about to pick that up when his phone rings and Sushma picks up the frame and starts cleaning it. Ranbir cuts the cal.
Ranbir – I am so sorry aunty, that frame dropped because of me.
Sushma – It’s ok beta. I picked it up.
Ranbir – I think I should take your leave.
Sushma – Okay. All the very best for your surprise. Hope your wife likes the gift too. II selected it taking the choices of my daughter(pragya) into consideration.
Ranbir – She will love the gift. I think your daughter and my wife are very similar.
Sushma – so do I.
Ranbir – Thanks a lot for helping. I should leave now.
Sushma – Yes take care. BYE.
Ranbir – BYE. Hope to see you soon.
He turns and misses to notice another frame containing Pragya’s pic as he was busy incall and leaves from there.
On the way:
Ranbir POV:
Finally, I will get so much time to spend with Prachi without any kind of tension of both families. Just baklu and his chikchiki, Perfect. I will keep the gift in the car only. I can’t wait to see her happiness.
