A quick recap: Twinkle and Raj’s past unveiled, Amaya and Yuvi’s moments together, and Twinkle consoling Kunj regarding his insecurities

“Siyappa Queen!! You had promised me that you would be up in ten minutes… We need to get back to work today… Wake up now!!! Come on…” Kunj spoke a little angered, walking out of the washroom, just out of the shower. “Kunj!!! Don’t be so cruel… Let me sleep na.. Let’s take today off as well” Twinkle mumbled, snuggling more into her blanket.

“Twinkle! You’ve already made everyone take three days off so that we all can spend some family time together… Another leave? Are you serious?” Kunj spoke in one go, but sighed as he noticed that she hadn’t paid the least attention to what he had been saying.
He was about to give up, when an idea struck him. He slowly tiptoed to her side, and stood there quietly. Twinkle slowly lowered the blanket to check if Kunj had actually given up, and looked across the room, and slowly sat up, doing a little victory dance.

“I’m going to enjoy my day off… I’ll go and have ice cream and cold coffee with Chinki, play in the park with Pari, visit Bhabhi’s vet care centre to meet the patients…” She began her list, counting on her fingers, when she was suddenly lifted off the bed. As she was about to scream, a hand covered her mouth firmly, and she frowned, knowing she wasn’t going to get a holiday now.

Before she could protest, Kunj put her down and twirled her around. Her hands came to rest on his bare chest, while he held her firmly by her waist. She made an angered frown, while Kunj chuckled. “Kunj!! You aren’t supposed to ruin my plans like that!” She protested, playfully hitting him, when he shushed her in the way he knew best. As they separated many minutes later, panting for breath, Kunj ran his finger on her face, while she looked anywhere but at him. He smiled, leaned closer and placed a gentle, loving kiss on her forehead.

Twinkle turned to go, when he pulled her back by her wrist, back hugging her. He placed his chin on her shoulder, and his arms encircled her. She was blushing badly by now, and gently placed her own hands on his. “Where are you off to, Mrs. Sarna?” Kunj asked, his voice husky, as he caressed her cheek with his, and wandered towards her nape, pushing her hair out of his way. Twinkle was breathing heavily already, and was too lost in his touch to answer that sensibly. She mumbled something that made no sense, while Kunj giggled.

“Kunj! Office!” She managed to speak among her bated breaths, while Kunj whispered in her ear, “What about my shirt, Twinkle?”, emphasizing the word ‘my’. Twinkle’s closed eyes flew open, and she looked down at herself, realising for the first time that morning, that she had been wearing nothing other than Kunj’s shirt. She looked at him with a pleading expression, while he nodded in a no.

As she turned around, trying to argue, his hands flew down to the buttons of his shirt, while Twinkle pushed them off, and stepped back. For every step she took, he stepped towards her too, enjoying the changing expressions on her face. Her eyes widened as her back hit a wall, knowing that there was no escape now.
Kunj held her hands in his, and kissed them one after the other, as Twinkle watched him lovingly, admiring him.

He then held her hands over her head, pinned to the wall, and leaned closer. He held her waist by his free hand, pulling her towards him, closing the distance. He then took to her neck, initially placing deep, loving kisses, which later grew to nibbles, making Twinkle moan his name. He then let go of her hands, which she placed on his shoulders, hugging him tight, as his actions wreaked havoc in her mind.
As they leaned in for another kiss, Twinkle’s hands travelled to his hair, while Kunj’s hands were on her back, caressing her. “Twinkle… I need to tell you something really important…” Kunj said slowly, pulling away, while Twinkle simply blinked at him, wondering what was coming up. Kunj’s silence was killing her. “Kunj! What is it?” She asked, her right hand on his cheek, and the left on his chest.

“I love you” He said giggling, slowly looking up at her, and was surprised to see her eyes brimming with tears. She quickly wiped them away, and smacked him, saying, “Don’t you ever scare me like that! Get it?” Kunj hugged her immediately, gently rubbing her back to calm her down, while she broke down in his arms. “Do you have the slightest idea of how worried I got?” She sniffled, while Kunj mumbled a quick sorry.

They stayed like that for a few minutes, until Twinkle had her emotions under control. “Kunj?” She spoke slowly, still in his embrace.
“Hmm?”
“I love you too…”
“I love you more…”
“No! I love you more…”
And that led to both of them bursting out laughing, as they recalled the good old days, when they were dating secretly.
“Kunj!! All this is just so beautiful… It seems like the best dream come true… I feel so blessed today… When everything is finally alright…” Twinkle spoke, as they slowly swayed with the wind, both lost in a world of their own.

“That seems like a wonderful way to start the day, Mrs. Sarna… Could we get back to work now?” Kunj asked, as his eyes landed on a wall clock that said 9 o’ clock. Twinkle looked up at him, and smiled, nodding gladly. Kunj quickly pecked her forehead and then released her, while she rushed to the washroom.

When Twinj got to the breakfast table about an hour later, they found everyone already waiting for them impatiently, deciding who would go and remind the love birds what time it was.
“Good morning everyone!” Twinkle chirped, hoping it would lighten the mood. “Very good morning sweetheart… We would have been really grateful if you both had made it here at least half an hour ago…” Amaya spoke, glaring at them.
“We got late because” Twinj spoke in unision, and then exchanged a quick glance, while everyone burst out laughing. “She’s just teasing you both…” Leela spoke, while they looked down, avoiding any eye contact.

As they had breakfast with the usual fun and laughter, RT announced that he had something important to discuss.
“We were thinking of sending Twinkle and Kunj on a vacation… Just the two of them…” He began, while the youngsters looked on, Twinj blushing hard, while the other members of the gang suppressed their laughter, recalling how they had already sent Twinj on a one-day vacation.

“Their honeymoon” Usha completed for RT, while Leela and Manohar smiled, revealing their plans to send the couple to Manali, like Twinkle had always wished. “With so much drama happening since their wedding, they never got any time to spend with each other…” Leela spoke, while Twinkle choked on the water she had been drinking. That was it for the gang. They narrated the entire story of Twinj being in love since college days, their secret dates, Alisha’s trick on the night of the reunion party, the later developments, and finally, the trip that the gang had planned for them.

The elders listened quietly, their eyes drifting to Twinkle, Kunj, and then the rest of the gang alternately, with a confused expression. As the gang completed their narration, the elders exchanged some understanding looks, and then left the table, while Twinj looked on, absolutely shocked. They had never imagined that their past would invoke reactions like those.
“Ma.., please listen to me… We hadn’t intended to hurt your emotions… There was so much happening that we never found the opportunity to speak about this…” Twinkle explained, running after Leela, while Kunj tried to reason with Manohar.

After they had walked a few more steps, the elders turned around and burst out laughing, while Twinj were taken aback. The gang too was shell-shocked.
“We knew this story already… We were just waiting to see how much longer you all would hide it from us…” Usha said amidst her laughter, while they all came together for a group hug, laughing at their own silly antics, recalling their efforts to hide all that from the elders.
