Twinj: When I fell for you: Episode 47

A quick recap: Kunj’s cold behaviour towards Raj, Raj’s mother’s arrival

“Be prepared, Twinkle!! I’m in the mood to restart some chapters that we had left incomplete some years ago…” Raj spoke, and turned around abruptly as he felt a pair of eyes watching him.
“Dude! If Kunj would have have heard you, it would have been the beginning of world war three!!” Rahul said, as the two burst out laughing, imagining the situation. “But seriously Raj, anyone hearing you speak those lines would have believed that you’re really after Twinkle, even now…” He added, and pulled Raj along, to try his hand as convincing Kunj.

(Surprise!! Raj isn’t a villain after all! Poor thing! So many people said so many things about him!)

“Arrey maa!! What’s wrong? Why do you look so bothered?” Amaya asked Leela, as she joined her in the kitchen. Leela looked startled at being jerked out of her thoughts suddenly. Recovering quickly, she spoke, “Amaya, how could all believers Raj? I know he’s done a lot for us, but after that night…?”
Amaya looked up from the vegetables she had been chopping, and tears flooded her eyes as flashes of that night hit her. She looked at Leela, being equally worried.

(Hold on people!! I’m not revealing anything so easily!!??? Some more patience!)

Meanwhile, after tiresome efforts at trying to convince Kunj, the boys had finally got him to agree, but not before Raj had promised him that he would keep his distance from Twinkle, and treat her like a sister. Raj had been a little hesitant on the ‘sister’ part, but he knew that he had no other go, so that had settled issues finally.

“Bhaiyu!! It’s my turn to play with Pari now! That’s cheating…” Twinkle protested as Yuvi was about to hand Pari over to her, but took her back, putting his tongue out. Yuvi chuckled as he saw her make her cute pouts, and fake anger. “Oh my god! Now I have to handle two babies!!” Yuvi teased, pulling her cheek, while she narrowed her eyes at him for a moment, before the two burst out laughing together.
“Really bhaiyu!! I miss you so much!! Everything feels incomplete without you…” Twinkle complained, cuddling into Yuvi, as Pari slowly blinked at them, figuring out what all the emotional drama was about.

“Hello Pari!! Look who is here!! Your Mamu… Come on… Let’s go and have some fun!” Kunj sang as he walked over to them, while the brother-sister duo watched him and exchanged a quick glance. “Wait!!” They called out in chorus as he bent over to pick Pari up, making him give them a weird look.
“Kunj! Bhaiyu had promised me, it’s my turn to play with Pari now… You can’t take her away…” Twinkle spoke, picking Pari up. “But Twinkle, you and your Bhaiyu were busy playing with each other, and leaving this little sweetheart all alone… So let me play with her” Kunj pointed out, trying to grab Pari, while Twinkle pulled her closer to herself.

Yuvi smacked his head as he watched them fight like little kids, and he was further shocked as he saw his little daughter enjoy all the attention she was getting, clapping her hands happily.
He chuckled as they finally decided that would play with her together, and sat down on the sofa, with her in between, adoring her. He was happy that finally everything was falling into place, and the family had regained all their lost happiness. He walked away, giving them some privacy.

Kunj watched Twinkle as she played with Pari, like she was a little kid, and admired her. As Pari got busy with her toys, Kunj leaned in closer towards Twinkle, and cupped her face. Caught totally off-guard, she looked up at him questioningly, while he was too lost in her eyes to respond.
She snapped her fingers in front of his eyes, jerking him out of his dream world, and giggled, while he simply smiled at her. “I love you… Much more than words can ever express… And I always will… No matter what…” He spoke slowly, each word reaching her heart, and pecked her forehead. She looked at him with a hint of mischief in her eyes, and said, “I already know that Kunj!! Tell me something I don’t know!”

“I will. I will sweetheart!! I’ll tell you, or rather, show you many things you don’t know yet” Kunj said, winking at her, while Twinkle’s eyes widened in horror, knowing what was coming next. She immediately closed her eyes, while he lovingly kissed her closed eyes, and then cheeks. As he was about to proceed further, Pari looked up at them, and cried out for attention, making him close his eyes in frustration. He rested his forehead against Twinkle’s, while she was struggling to control her laughter.

“Poor thing!! Even Pari doesn’t want Kunj to continue his romance!” Aman teased as he walked into the house with Chinki.
“Cool it bro!! It’s definitely not funny” Kunj said, looking really angry. Chinki sat down beside Twinkle, nudging her teasingly, while Aman had a hard time cooling Kunj down.
“Woah! Angry young man!! Twinkle! Why don’t you give your hubby one of your chill pills? Have you seen how he’s always ready to burst out?” Aman complained, while Kunj gave him an ‘You are so dead’ look.

“Especially after I have arrived. Right dude? No worries man… I’m ready now go away. Once and for all. I won’t trouble you guys again…” Raj spoke, as he walked towards them with Rahul.
“No… It isn’t like that dude!!” Rahul chipped in, although he knew it was true.
“And, you aren’t going away. Get it?” Chinki said, offering them to get seated. Kunj assured Raj that there wasn’t anything like that too, while Twinkle watched on, wondering if she was dreaming.

Meanwhile, Amaya, Yuvi and Leela watched all this from the corridor upstairs, and sighed deeply. They were extremely grateful for what Raj had done for them in the past few days, but what he had done years ago was still freshly imprinted on their minds. Yuvi and Amaya hugged Leela from either sides, and they shared a moment of consoling and convincing each other as they recalled that dreadful night.

Flashback.
(Finally! Right? Many of you had asked about this, and it’s here!!)
It was a dark night, the wind had been wild, and the rain just didn’t show any sign of calming it’s fury. At the Taneja mansion, there was deathly silence. Leela and RT were seated on the sofa, eyeing the door, looking extremely tensed. Yuvi had been marching to and fro, while Amaya and Kunj entered with their parents.

“I don’t know where she might have gone. We couldn’t find her anywhere” Amaya announced, as Leela burst out crying. Usha consoled her, teary eyed herself.
Amaya looked at Yuvi pleadingly, and finally got him to agree to search for Twinkle one last time. Kunj set out on his own stubbornly. Only he knew what he was going through. He loved Twinkle, a lot, but he had never found it in him to tell her.

Kunj drove down to the desolate part of the city, got off his car, and ran into a seemingly empty, old garage.
“I’m here. Let her go now.” He announced, but was surprised to find Yuvi and Amaya there too, and they were equally surprised. Before they could figure out what had been going on, they heard a voice,
“Welcome guys!”
