Recap: Twinkle tries gaining as much as info she can from sanchay and at the end wen twinj starts talking at the backyard their convo is intruptted by twinkle phone ring n kunj notices DAT its from kunal n she excuses herself to meet him.
Part — 38
Twinkle looked at the evening sun slowly dipping into the far of lands marking the end of the day. But for twinkle the day would start by then, she had woken up at late afternoon after her meeting with kunal.
Twinkle rubbed her temples in confusion.By nature she wasn’t irresponsible and here she had broken that record but more importantly she had misplaced something she shouldn’t mess up with. Because it wasn’t her property.
It wasn’t dangerous that she had lost it but she feared it would create problems if someone else gets it.
She can’t be letting down Kunal.
And not at least in this way.
After assuring Kunal that she would search for it ,she had gotten back home.
To be precise Armaan’s home.
And now she reminded herself the tasks that screamed for her attention, indeed the tasks that were associated with her identity and mainly to that one man, her heart skipped a beat.
Not getting carried away by her emotions for him which made her knees go weak when he stood close to her and she almost shivered in anticipation when he would look into her eyes and speak.
Little did he know what effect he had on her.
It was Sunday evening anf now she had planned out what should be done.
To get to know how the trio had found about her, her first target was sanchay but now she was sure after the little extraction of information she had in the morning sanchay would be warned by her boss. Smarties!!!
Hence she altered her target list, it would be her long lost friend she would start with.
‘Armaan would be the one who will give me the lead’ she thought smirking and made her way towards his room hoping she would not encounter with her love interest!
She found him cleaning his study table, well it looked like he was dumping all of the things onto his bed. To clean one, dirty another.
“Boys can never secure ‘A’ grade at cleanliness” she thought entering his room.
T: Hey Armaan
A: Hii twinkle, wassup?
T: Just been from the afternoon nap
A: its almost 5, your afternoon nap stretched until evening! Pretty long nap I suppose
T: yeah…how funny
A: get dumped on the couch
Twinkle stared at him, for what he just said.
She wasn’t used to this side of him.
Sensing her confusion AM spoke,
“It’s not office and I’m not ur boss…I’m ur long lost friend remember!” He air quoted
“Yeah..” She rolled her eyes
And once she settled on the couch, she began
T: Your home is one of a kind…Its beautiful!
A: Glad to hear that
T: hmm..
A: So ?
T: So nothing much
A: I’m not sanchay to buy that.
T: smart
A: thank u
T: so what’s with you and your friend playing this mystery game with me?
A: thats pretty straight forward, I like that.
T: you still didnt answer my question.
A: hmm…in that mystery game we were in your place then you now the tables have turned. Its you in our place.
T: but how did you guys collect so much of information about me? Just me or every other employee of the office?
A: we didnt choose it to be you..it just led to you!
T: and what led to me?
A: thats what you need to find out on ur own
T: clues please!
A: Miss Twinkle Taneja want to know all of it! but I why dont you ask your other boss, he may be of significant help.
T: why can’t you help me?
A: bcz I’m not supposed to
T; then why will he help me?
A: for those very reasons which led to you
T: now this is creepy! You can’t be talking all in codes and enjoying at my cost.
A: My dear childhood bestie, no one is enjoying at your cost, each one of us is equally paying and that is something you are failing to notice, considering the fact that you are a good observer.
T: what I’m I failing to notice?
A: you can’t be getting all answrs from me, leave out a Lil questions for kunj, may be he can help you.
T: I’m not understanding one Thing. Whats that which makes u say confidently that he can tell me about it and you cant.
A: bcz its always been that way. Probably it was meant to be that way.
T: aggh…dont speak in riddles
A: My mouth is zipped
T: You know what’s the problem with you two?
Armaan just stood there raising he’s eyebrows zipping his mouth.
T: that you guys are way too smart.
And with that twinkle walked towards the door leaving behind AM breaking into chuckles.
“Twinkle” he called from behind
She turned towards him.
“You have a nice name and your name is itself the lead for a mystery. Watch closely” said Armaan and zipped his mouth once again.
Twinkle left his room even more confused than she had come in.
And then she banged into kunj.
‘Wow, great’ her mind yelled at her sardonically
K: easy
You all right?
T: yay..with a mystery yet to be solved I’m in bright colors, dont u see?
K: ouch! That was sarcastic
T: serves u right
K: hmm…someones way comfortable with me today.
T: because the boss I know is sweet.
K: did u just call me sweet?
T: that was for my boss and this one standing before is someone who’s making me go in circles all the time and I’m ending up being nowhere.
K: you are furious
T: aww …so sweet of you to notice that.
Twinkle huffed and tied her hands and held them firmly at her chest. Kunj looked into her eyes, their was he’s every cell wanting to feel her gentle touch, he took a step closer and with his every step twinkles grip on her hand loosened.
The proximity created havoc in her senses and all those stupid butterflies in her stomach got back to life.
She visibly gulped, her heart thumping loudly just like his.
K: I notice everything about you. Every little damn thing.
The words came out as a mere whisper, but was enough to mess with her already confused mind.
Kunj noticed that their was hardly any space between them, he loved the effect he had on her, mentally hi-fi ing he stepped back,
K: since you are my employee I notice everything about you. If I dont then the CCTV footage at office will
With that Kunj walked away.
Getting out what just happened Twinkle placed her hand over her heart,
“What is wrong with it?
Can’t it beat normally when his around?
And what the hell about the proximity we just shared? Seems like my reaction amused him.
Uff!! How many things I need to deal at a time?
All of it.
And the worst part all are associated with him!
This guy is deadly charming!
Control Twinkie , control.” Twinkle tried calming the fire he had just ignited.
After taking some deep breathes and calming her racing heart she thought about the conversation with Armaan.
“Like he said , I need to talk to Kunj ” she thought.
“But how? , he’s presence sets my senses on fire n I become a mere spectator of his deep set eyes, jet black hair, the se*y sharp jawline and the luscious lips and the well built body and….” Her mind went on going gaga over him.
“oh hooooo now stop . I know he’s charming and handsome but right now I need to know how they found about me
And for that I need to have my senses under control. I can’t let him win over the proximity, I need to show that he’s closeness doesn’t affect but yay I admit frankly speaking his proximity makes my senses go numb ,but I can’t let him know dat, at least not until I find all the mystery aura of mine” she declared to herself.
Her next target is Kunj and she knew she needed to play it Smart.
