Part 23 —
Nxt to nxt morning;
Office
Kunj was busy tapping on his laptop…armaan in his cabin busy in solving the new issue regarding the publishing dept….
As twinkle entered the office…she saw both the boss busy in respective cabins..she glanced at her watch then turned to look at the big Italian wall clock that adored the wall…
Her watch was correct…it was 8:59 am
” both are very early” she thought and moved towards her cabin….
Sometyms miracles do happen and today was one of dat day….Armaan was upright in he’s cabin chair at this early morning..
Even kunj was shocked wen Armaan came along with him to office leaving behind the laziest kid,,well I meant Sanchay….
Initially Armaan had difficulty in keeping he’s eyes open…but wen he saw the employees entering, he composed himself and got busy behind the laptop screen..
The work went on and on….
All were tired..they stretched their body to relax ,it didn’t help them much…kunjs state was no better…he saw he’s employees struggling hard behind their PCs…he got up moved out and said them to take a break…..
He glanced at AMs cabin…AM kept on yawning and finally fell asleep…kunj knew it was hard to work for such a long tym..he walked towards AMs cabin, shut the lappy and made him rest comfortably..
He smiled and moved out.. As he was abt to enter he’s cabin, a bright face caught he’s attention… It was twinkle… She was the only one person in the whole office who had a bright smile throughout the day..
‘Dats pretty odd’ thought kunj…
Unknowingly kunj motioned towards her cabin and tapped b4 entering…
Her smile was contagious… He smiled too..
T: hey
K: hi…u ohk?
T: ya…don’t I seem so?
K: well u seem extra happy so..
T: (smiles) nothing much
K: everyone has gone for a break …I think u should take one too..
T: I’m fyn
K: u aren’t tired?
T: hmm. .a bit, but I still I can work
K: ohh
Having sum sort of entertainment alone in the cabin
T: ur good at guessing
K: (smiles) so what’s it?
T: u vl laugh at it
K: ohh…im need of jokes, so go on..tell me
T: no way…
K: hey I’m kidding…I won’t laugh..

She asked me dat with such cuteness ,dat I cudnt deny that made her look more pretty..
‘ u can,,go on’ I said
‘ he proposed her’ she said excited, her face gleaming with joy
‘ wooooh…one sec…who proposed whom’ , I asked being confused
‘ HE proposed HER’ she said yet again in joy…stressing on her words..
‘ ohk…but who is HE and SHE ‘ I asked
‘The leads ‘ she said…
Oh god!!!who proposed whom??? Which leads??
I stood their clueless ,,watching her gleaming in joy…
She looked at me…I made a confused face…
‘ oh sorry, I meant in a serial ,the proposal happened’ she said being apologetic..
‘Ohh…but y Ru excited’ I shot back
‘Ohh god…wen the hero proposes the heroine in ur fav serial, won’t u get excited ?’ She asked
‘Ohh…I didn’t know that it cud cause an excitement of this level’ I murmered…
‘Sorry…u said something’ she asked
‘No nothing ‘ I replied
‘Which serial’ I added.
‘K- drama’ she said
‘Meaning?’ I was yet again confused
‘ oh…I meant Korean drama,,serials’ she explained…
‘ u understand dat language’ I was quick to ask…
‘Who said so?’ She shot back…
‘I watch with engg subtitles’ she said…
‘It was difficult finding the links…. Some sites were blocked and others do not get played in our region…and remaining have too many animations in it…’ She added
‘Ohh…u have to do so much to jzz watch it?’ I asked

Wen he asked dat I glanced at he’s face…he looked innocent…
‘U srsly donno anything abt girls ryt?’ I asked smiling…
‘ well is der anything I must know’ he asked
‘ hmm…well there are too many things..but most of us have craze for serials…not all though, so we search harder to watch them…’ I replied….
‘Ohh ….is dat so….’ He said camly….
‘ u watch Indian serials too?’ He asked.
‘Yep, I follow most of them’ I replied…
‘ ohk…which Korean serial made u engertic even in such a busy hour?’ He asked smilingly…
‘ its pinnacho’ I replied…
‘ ohh…NYC title’ he replied.
‘Hmm’ I didn’t have anything much to say…
But he looked lot handsome, wen he smiled….he’s smile was contagious…
I smiled too…
‘Taking to u was such a relief, I vl get back to work now’ she said…
‘ I hope I didn’t boore u….’ I said looking apologetic..
‘ no…not all….’ He said and smiled
‘And yaa, its good to hve atleast one smiling brightly under the same roof,,,it lits up the atmospher and the best part is smiles are contagious ‘ he said and smiled b4 moving out…
I stood der smiling endlessly… Was that a complement? If yes…then he’s lot different.. I made a mental note and got back to work….
Kunjs cabin:
Uff…it was refreshing ,he thought…
‘Her smile is contagious’ and yet again he smiled….I said u ryt, her smile is contagious…and the work went on…
Somewhere he had forgotten what had happened day b4 yesterday until AM came over der…
Seeing kunj relaxed and smiling ,something very contradictory to what he saw of him yesterday, AM was perplexed…
A: what makes u so relaxed ol of a sudden…ur mood swings change too fast..
K: nothing that way yaar…
Have u ever watched Korean dramas?
AM was confused for a sec…too many things were hovering in he’s head for that moment…
A: why wud u bring up such a matter out of blue….I don’t do u?
K: no…seems lyk twinkle..I mean latika has a fantasy for them…let’s keep it as latika ..that wud b safe…
A: yaa. Can’t really say..she may jz emerge from nowhere and hear our convo…
‘Excuse me’ some1 cut him short…
AM looked at kunj…he’s face was Lil pale..he turned back to look at who was at the door…
Worest it was twinkle ..
Armaan shifted uncomfortably in he’s chair…he lookd at kunj…he’s state was no better. ..
‘Yes ,come in’ kunj managed to say…
Seeing them being uncomfortable…
Tw: was my tyming wrong…?
A: it cudnt have been better…he murmured..
But kunj heard it…kunj stamped on armaans foot to bring him into senses…
A: ouch…
T: what happened… U ok?
A: yep…don’t worry..
T: ohk. Actually I came to submit reports
K: but the work isn’t over ryt…
T: umm…its done…
K: it was scheduled tom…u completed it this early…
T: yep…my part was last in this one…so worked on it yest too at home…so
K: Korean dramas did help a lot I think?
T: yaa….but music kept me gng yest….
A:oh… even we listen to it…but it only helps us to SLP better…
T: haha…?
A: so all done….u wud b leaving 1st then..
T: actually… Some part from another project is left and their are some queries regarding publishing dept so thought to discuss b4 I move out…

She has a lyf too….her choices abt prsnl lyf shudnt bother me..and moreover this is peak hour…I can’t let myself get distracted… Lemme think of it later…bcz I’m sure this issue won’t leave me that easily….
But after that proposal I haven’t seen these both together….
‘Dats a good sign’ my mind thumped…
