Twinj: When I fell for you: Episode 15

A quick recap: Twinkle’s mysterious confusion unveiled.

Twinkle had overheard Rahul and Kunj talking about her and had demanded to know the truth.
“Alright…” Kunj began, wondering how she would react if she found out that Rahul had asked him who his true love is, and he had taken Twinkle’s name.

“Kunj, Twinkle, Rahul…. Tum teeno itni raat ko yaha kya kar rahe ho? Jao jaake so jao. Kal shaadi hai na? Bohot kaam hoga. Subah jaldi bhi utna hai… Nahi.. main koi bahana nahi sunoongi. Jao jaake so jao.” Leela literally pushed them to their suites.
Rahul and Kunj heaved a sigh of relief, while Twinkle frowned, dejected.

The wedding day.
The venue was beautifully decorated. It looked exactly like a dream wedding destination, and why wouldn’t it? After all, it was the wedding of the eldest heirs of the Tanejas and Sarnas. There was a lot of bustle of the guests chatting excitedly, coming in and going out, admiring the venue in all possible angles. Besides, the photographers and videographers were having a busy day, since they were strictly instructed to shoot and record everything perfectly.

Soon the rituals began.
Yuvi was made to sit in the mandap, and the priest began reciting the holy chants. Soon Amaya too was brought down by Twinkle and Chinki. As the rituals continued, Chinki, Twinkle, Rahul, Aman and Kunj stood together in a corner, admiring the bride and groom, and expressing their excitement.

Soon everyone was busy clicking selfies, and Aman took Chinki away, under the pretext of taking a picture clicked with her, leaving Twinj and Rahul behind. Rahul too went away to receive a call.

Feeling awkward in the silence, Twinkle began a conversation.
“Bhaiyu aur bhabhi kitne khush lag rahe hain na Kunj?”
“Of course, aakhir yeh unka life ka sabse special moments mein se ek hai na?”
“Haan…” She replied, dreamily, lost in her thoughts.
“Pata hai mera life ka sabse special moment kaun sa tha?”
“Wait.. let me guess. Uss din hoga jis din tumne office join kiya… Ya uss din jab tumhara music concert ek grand hit hua tha.. Ya phir…”
“Oye Siyappa Queen! Maine kaha life ka sabse special moment. Yeh saare bhi special the, par sab se special pata hai kaun sa tha?”
“Kaun sa tha?”
“When I fell for you” he replied, winking at her and walking away.

Twinkle blushed, momentarily taken away by his confession. But then she recalled Alisha, her mind becoming a chaos. After a few moments, when remembered her conversation with Chinki on the previous day, things began to connect in her head. Just the thought that everything was just like before between her and Kunj gave her immense happiness.

A little far away, the rest of the gang stood studying her changing expressions. When a contended smile finally took over her, they rejoiced, and were glad that they were finally on the right path. They all decided to keep an eye on Alisha, knowing that she could spoil things again like she had done before.

“Lo, speak of the devil and the devil appears!” Aman exclaimed, eyeing Alisha who was walking towards Twinkle. Rahul was still debating within, whether he should believe that Kunj loves Twinkle or not. He decided to go with the flow and keep an eye on both Kunj and Alisha.

Meanwhile, it was time for the phere. Yuvi and Amaya stood up and went around the holy fire, making promises for an eternity of togetherness in every situation, good or bad, favourable or otherwise, and to support each other and their families with no discrimination.
Finally, the priest announced them husband and wife, and they took the blessings of their elders.

Meanwhile, Twinkle heard Aman telling Chinki that some day, they too would be in Yuvi and Amaya’s position, making her blush. Twinkle recalled how she and Kunj had vowed to get married to each other, and support each other in every situation.
She looked at Kunj, and was pleasantly surprised to find him looking at her too. They shared an eye lock, which was broken by Chinki and Aman.

“Hey Twinkle! Tumne to kaha tha ki pyaar nahi hai tumhare aur Kunj ke beech… Phir dono ek doosre ko iss tarah se dekh rahe ho jaise ki saalon purane premi ho aur ankhon hi ankhon mein saare baatein kar loge?” She teased.
“As if…”
“Haan.. aur nahi toh kya. Tum chaho to Aman se pooch lo, aise hi dekh rahe the ek doosre ko… Kyun Aman?”
“Of course..”
“Of course ke bacche, ruk… Main tujhe abhi batati hoon…” She said, chasing after him, while everyone laughed watching them play like small kids.

Soon, all the guests left after blessing the newlyweds, and the rest retired to their suites, extremely tired. This was surely preceded by the kids teasing Yuvi and Amaya a lot before they were sent to Yuvi’s room.

The next morning, everyone was ready with their bags, and they set back just like they had arrived. The difference was that now Twinj sat together, and that Yuvi and Amaya were a married couple.

“Toh bhabhi, kal raat acche se so paye na aap?” Twinkle asked in a teasing tone, only to receive a death glare in return.
“Arrey aisa kya pooch liya usne… Di, yeh to main bhi jaan na chahta hoon ki aapko jeeju ki suite comfortable to lagi na?” Kunj asked, and Twinj hi-fived each other.

Yuvi and Amaya were speechless. They knew it was just the beginning. Their teasing sessions had just begun, and didn’t seem to end any time soon.
“Accha guys.. bohot pareshan kar liya tum dono humein. Ab na punishment milega tum logon ko.. ” Yuvi tried diverting the topic.

“Haan… Bilkul!” Alisha screamed. She had begged to come along with them, but Rahul had managed to keep her from separating Twinj since he still wanted to study their behaviours. “Aur punishment yeh hoga ki tum dono ek doosre se baat nahi karoge ek saal ke liye. I mean tum dono ke beech jo bhi tha use bhool ke aage badne ka wakt aa gaya hai. Ab main aur Kunj ek couple jo hain… Hai na Kunj?” She gave Kunj a warning look and showed him her mobile, reminding him that if he acted too smart, she would get rid of Twinkle once and for all.

“Haan..” Kunj said, looking at Twinkle with tear filled eyes. She gave him a knowing look. It was as if in that moment, she knew he was lying and Alisha had been forcing him. Now, she was going to find out the secret, she decided, and replied, “To kya hua Alisha? Main aur Kunj bohot acche dost hamesha se the, hain aur rahenge. Aur humari dosti ko koi nahi tod sakta… ” She said, holding Kunj’s hand, and trying to assure him that she would get him out of his problem soon.
