TWINJ: Ek Tukda Pyaar (Introduction)

Hey you all, here’s a small introduction to a fan-fiction on Twinkle and Kunj. I’d love to know what you all think of it, and if you’d like for me to continue it.

EK TUKDA PYAAR: CHARACTER SKETCH

TWINKLE TANEJA:

An established corporate lawyer who holds herself and her work in high regard. Her family involves her eight-year-old daughter and her older mother. She is the divorced wife of Yuvraj Luthra, but maintains a cordial relation with him after several years of their divorce. She has been reluctant in involving herself in a marriage again, due to her insecurities and inability to adjust and compromise. She constantly struggles between prioritising her work and her personal life.

YUVRAJ LUTHRA:

An established businessman in the city of Chandigarh, who constantly travels to Amritsar during the weekend to meet his daughter. He hopes to amend his relationship with his ex-wife, Twinkle Taneja, in the future for the sake of his daughter. An over-protective father who refuses to fight a custody case for his daughter, considering the trauma she might’ve to go through.

KUNJ SARNA:

A successful co-owner of one of the most famous restaurant chains in Amritsar. He is a workaholic, who stays with his single mother, Usha Sarna. He has been handling his father’s business from his twenties – co-partnering with his mother. He has had a tragic past which has refrained him from getting involved in a romantic relationship.

AAROHI LUTHRA – TANEJA:

An eight-year-old girl who is constantly wanting to have both of her parents together under the same roof, like her other friends. She lives with her grandmother, Leela Taneja, throughout the day and loves her thoroughly. Sometimes, she gets into conflicts with her mother for wanting to spend more time with her.

LEELA TANEJA:

A retired school teacher who handles kids exceptionally well and continues to tutor kids around the neighbourhood. She spends most of her day with her granddaughter, Aarohi, and understands her exceptionally well. She wishes to see her daughter, Twinkle, settling down in life again, and proposes her to remarry.

USHA SARNA:

A successful businesswoman, who co-partners with her son, Kunj, to run her late husband’s restaurant business. She has seen her son suffer all throughout his adult life due to his past and wants him to get married, and settle down in his life. She has asked Leela Taneja for her daughter’s hand.

ANITA LUTHRA:

A retired businesswoman, who stays with her son and is very fond of her granddaughter, Aarohi. She blames her ex-daughter-in-law, Twinkle, for not being able to sustain the marriage with her son, Yuvraj, and for spoiling his life.
