Bakhuda Tumhi Ho-
Episode:8
————————————————————-
Next day:
Twinkle woke up late. Kunj was leaving for office when she saw him talking to the driver. “Take her wherever she wants as long as she takes the car and driver with her.”
She didn’t want the driver being on her trail all the while but she was happy she wasn’t locked in the home anymore.
She went to the restroom and took a long shower. Kunj walked up til the car when he realized that he forgot a file in the room.
Knowing that Kunj wasn’t at home, she just wrapped the towel and walked in the room.
He was about to walk into the room when he saw her like that. “Shit!”, He cursed under his breath and ran outside before she could see him. He couldn’t control his loud beating heart. He was always taunting her about his eating and being fat but he couldn’t deny that she was really a beauty! He was a Casanova but he really respected her. He realized that he shouldn’t stay here 1 more minute or he would change his mind! If he ignited the fire of desires and acted on it, it would burn Twinkle, her innocence, her everything!
“Damn file! Just go to hell.”, He thought and drove to the office, postponed meeting for the next day.

Evening-
“Twinkle!”, He said carefully walking into the room. He didn’t want to enter on something embarrassing!
“Twinkle!”, He again called slowly.
“Yes.”, She walked into the room. “Why are you shouting?”
“I brought a gift for you.”, He said faking a smile.
She couldn’t believe her ears. “G… Gift… For… Me? What’re you planning now?”, She asked flatly keeping her hands on her waist.
“Wow! You’re getting smart! Anyways take it.”, He said handing her over a beautiful parcel covered in red gifting paper and a neatly tied bow at the end looking really pretty.
She took it and began opening it… Cautiously!
“Twinkle I didn’t gift wrap a bomb for you! Open it fast!”, He said irked.
Twinkle opened it and her eyes widened in surprise to see what was there inside.
“What the hell! Who gifts someone a BATHROBE!”, She shouted angrily.
To her surprise, rather shock, it was a Royal blue bathrobe! It had a collar covering whole back with half sleeves.
“Actually you needed it! Next time, you decide to walk around the room after taking shower, leaving the room door unlocked, wear this!”, He said flatly.
Her eyes went wide and her mouth opened to say something but closed it out of embarrassment. “He saw me like that!” Was the only thought on her mind.
“What did you see?”, She blurted out but then mentally face palmed herself for asking such a question.
“Nothing that was worth looking at!”
“How could you! You’re such an ungentlemanly, shameless…”
“Mind your language! Like I said, I didn’t see anything! And don’t react like this. For your kind information, I’ve seen a naked body innumerable times!”, He said bluntly and walked out.
“Shameless guy! Couldn’t he just say, TWINKLE LOCK THE DOOR NEXT TIME! But no! He had to do all this! I’ll go mad in his accompany!”, But somewhere, those words really hurt her, ‘I’ve seen a naked body innumerable times!’ Hearing them, she felt… Disappointed and sad.
He had his dinner and was going to sleep when he saw her pacing in the room.
“Twinkle! What’s wrong?”
“Nothing!”, She said shaking her head. She just couldn’t tell him that his words were bothering her.
“Twinkle.” He said cupping her face. “I know I shouldn’t have shouted on you or said something hurting but at that time, the only thought on my mind was, what if any servant would’ve seen you like that. They’re male servants in the house and…”
“It’s Ok.”
“So…. Sleep now”
“I… I don’t feel sleepy. You go ahead.”, She said.
“OK.”, He went to bed while Twinkle was still pacing.
Kunj thought, “This girl has wierd habits. She won’t sleep before me, take shower after I go to the office, eats like a baby elephant, snores like a mini generator, never calls me by my name and wears that irritating waistband on every sort of dress!” ‘Wow Kunj you know so much about her!”, His mind mocked him. He was really dazed by how much he knew about her. Every single detail! He brushed away HER thoughts and drifted to sleep.

At the Office-
Yuvraj, Kunj and Manohar were sitting in the conference room waiting.
Manohar understood Kunj wasn’t used to waiting for anyone. He would lose his temper.
“Kunj! The person going to come is one of our business rivals. But they’ve extended the hand of friendship through this project. So please…”
“Dad, I don’t care what the reason is. If their deal is worthy of investment. I will. I don’t like investing money on wrong people and things.”
Just then door opened and in came someone whom Kunj couldn’t forget even in his dreams. He was the same man who had misbehaved with Twinkle! Kunj’s blood boiled seeing him standing in front of him. He was smiling like nothing was wrong but Kunj was determined to show him his place. His face brought the memory of Twinkle’s tears, her afraid, terrified face. Her chocked voice.
Kunj got up adjusting his blazer. “The deal we were going to sign is cancelled. I’ve changed my mind. Our company wouldn’t benefit from someone like him!”, He said in a business tone.
“What’re you saying?”, The man asked in shock.
“You heard me.”, He replied calmly.
The man slammed the file on table. “Mr. Sarna, I thought you’re a professional man! But…”
“But what?”, Kunj snapped.
“Is it because of that blo*dy…”
Before he could complete, Kunj threw a punch on his face. He was about to fall when he held him by his collar and started beating him again. Manohar and Yuvraj were terrified. They tried to separate them. “Kunj what’re you doing? Stop!”
“Dad! Leave me! He touched something he shouldn’t even in his dreams! The moment he thought he could hurt what is mine, he sealed his fate! How dare he touch her with his dirty hands!”
“Who was she to you huh?”, He said getting up. “Another prost…”
Kunj started kicking him badly this time. “Biwi hai woh meri!”, He yelled.
Now Yuvraj too understood, what might’ve happened. He asked the security to throw the man out. “Don’t worry Kunj. You won’t ever see him again. This project was really important for his career. He can’t go any further now. So relax!”
“Would anybody care to explain what’s going on?”, Manohar asked angrily.
Kunj sighed and told him everything.
“Is Twinkle alright? Did anything…”
“Dad calm down. She is Ok. Little terrified though.”
“You did the right thing son. Just don’t be so aggressive. It’s not good!”

Home-
As he returned home, his mind was occupied by what happened at the office. His body began to ache due to the pressure.
He felt sharp pain in his head. “Twinkle get me some juice from kitchen.”
“Ok. Wait! I’m bringing.”, She said before leaving to kitchen.
He lied to her so that she leaves because if she was here she would’ve stopped him and he would’ve hurt her. He didn’t need juice or water, he needed something else.
Twinkle came back to room in a hurry. She saw something that was really weird. He was sitting on the bed with a blank expression on his face.
She went to him. “Are you Ok?”
“Yup! One dose and I’m fine.” He said waving his hand. She understood that he’s under the effect of something strong otherwise he would’ve never talked like this.
“Urggh! How am I going to help you! You’re hopeless!”, She yelled in frustration because she knew he wouldn’t understand or remember anything next morning.
“Why do you want to burn yourself in the same hell I’m in. Why don’t you leave?”, He asked flatly.
“We’ll talk about it later now sleep.”, She said pulling the duvet over him.
“Hmmm.” Was all he said and he laid down obediently sinking into his imaginary world where everything was perfect. She felt pity for him. She removed his shoes, socks, watch and moved to her side.
“I love these bright colors.”, He murmured in sleep and pulled her closer. She didn’t say anything nor resisted or tried to pull out from his hold because he wouldn’t understand.
She caressed his hair and remembered the kids from orphanage she was brought up in. Some of them were abused, some suffering without a mom and dad, who would love and care for them and she used to feel sympathetic to them. He was just an older version of those kids, she used to cry for.
“You won’t listen to me like this! Now I’ll do things your way and YOU WILL SEE KUNJ SARNA.”, She thought closing her eyes.

Morning-
An irritatingly ear piercing alarm was ringing in Kunj’s ear. He angrily pressed the stop button with closed eyes and continued to sleep. He heard the alarm again and he shut it again. It happened a couple of times but it rang again and again. Angrily he opened his eyes to see Twinkle standing beside with the alarm clock in her hands holding it near his ear.
“What the hell are you doing?”, He asked angrily.
“You’ve slept too much. Now wake up Mr. Sarna.”, She sternly said.
He found something new in her behavior, something different in her tone but he couldn’t decode what it was.
“Ya I was getting up.”, He huffed.
“Breakfast is set on the table. Come down fast.”
He confusedly looked at her. “Maybe I’ve done something last night because of which she’s behaving like this. I should ask her.”, He thought and walked towards washroom.
After freshening up himself, he walked downstairs. She didn’t even look at her.
“What! Don’t you want to go for a walk today? Normally it would kill you if you miss your morning walk.”, He stared her hoping for an answer but she didn’t reply. He felt…. Disappointed. He was used to fighting with her over pretty things, listening to her continuous nonsense. Now her silence was making him feel dejected.
“Look Twinkle, if I had…”
“I think you’re getting late.”, She interrupted and moved towards the room.

Office-
Whole day his mind wasn’t ready to concentrate on anything. He looked at the phone again and again hoping she would call. But she didn’t. He was frustrated thinking about why she was behaving like this. But he knew one thing, IT WAS HIS FAULT!
The door opened and his PA entered. “Sir the project with the Kapoor’s is about to start but there are some legal formalities that…”
“Naira, Yuvi is handling this matter. Call him now!”
Just then Yuvraj entered his cabin while Naira left.
“Hey what happened? I saw you shouting awhile ago. Any problem?”
“She’s not talking to me…. I know I had done something… But she can’t do this. She should fight with me na…”, He kept on blabbering but then he saw Yuvraj’s face. He was smirking like a creep which irritated him!
“What?”, He asked angrily.
“Awww. Worried about Twinkle. Can’t stand silent treatment!”
“Now you’re leaving or should I kick you out?”
“Chill buddy tell me why did you call? But we’re talking about THIS later. Ok.”
“Oh ya! The Kapoor’s project- you’re gonna go and check the place yourself and check if they’re in any illegal trouble or fraud case and the deal papers should be on our name and…”
“And?”
“And wipe that smirk off your face before I do it for you!”, Kunj said gritting his teeth.
But Yuvraj continued smirking. “Oh man! You’re not at all romantic! God what should I do!”, Yuvraj said in a melodramatic tone while Kunj threw cold glares on him.

Home-
He rushed home early that day. She was sitting in the room reading a magzine.
“Kamaal hai! Day before yesterday she jumped over the boundary wall to go to the hospital but today she’s sitting here even though I didn’t stop her!”, He thought ignoring her and walked to the cupboard, opened his drawer to find it empty.
“What the hell! Where are my supplements?”, Kunj snapped.
“Supplements are for medicines not for poison.”, She retorted.
“I asked. Mere drugs. Kahan. Hain?”, He questioned in a dangerously calm voice which made her shiver but she somehow composed herself.
“I threw them in the trash!”, She answered calmly.
“What?”, He looked at her in disbelief.
This was unexpected!
