Much awaited TV show of Sony SAB is all set to launch. The story of ‘Ali Baba’ is being talked about for a while and the promo has been doing rounds keeping the interests of the viewers piqued up. The show will be produced by Peninsula Pictures. The channel and the production blocked the show on the lines of the story related to Ali Baba with a promo months ago.
While a dummy actor was used for the promo, actor Mohammed Sheezan has been finalized to essay the titular role. And now, there is news that the makers have finalized the actress who will be seen as Ali Baba’s love interest.
As per our highly placed sources, actress Tunisha Sharma stands bright chances of being roped in as the female lead in the show. Talks with her are still on. Tunisha is known for her stint in shows like ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ and ‘Internet Wala Love’.
For the uninitiated, Tunisha was a part of Sony SAB’s ‘Hero: Gayab Mode On’ (produced by Peninsula Pictures) and hence the channel and production might repeat her as a lead in the new show.
