He did not see her around after the intimate moment they shared she was no where to be found ,Did she leave him ? He knew what had happened between them was something he did not appreciate according to the status of their relationship , he wanted to give her time but when she started the act he had gone with a flow in passion .
Checking out every nook and corner he didn’t find his firecracker “Firecracker”he mused indeed she is one with a smile he went to check out ,after about a two hours search he was worried “Where are you Gauri, Be safe” he prayed .
“Shivaay Rudra” Om shouted bringing the whole house down ..They both came running “O””Om why are you shouting” Shivaay asked worried “Gauri is missing Shivaay”Om spoke nervously “What the hell Om” Shivaay shouted ..Anika came running hearing the shout “Why are you shouting Shivaay?,What’s the problem Om?”Anika asked calmly “Babhi Gauri is not here Did you see her” .Anika replied “Did you check the terrace..i saw …” without waiting until Anika finished the sentence he ran to the terrace ..
There she sat in a corner with her arms wrapped around her knees hugging herself and ever so slowly she raised her head towards the moon ,he watched her drink in the sight she looked angelic even with a tear stained face.. He wanted to hug and assure her that but instead he stayed where he is and stared up at the moon ..
He took slow strides and when he neared he sat beside her .. he saw her look at the corner of her eyes and again he saw her staring up at the moon .. “I am Sorry Firecracker” Om spoke …Gauri gaped and jumped of her seat “What.. the..” Gauri asked enraged..rolling her eyes making him chuckle .. pulling her he made her sit again that’s when he noticed that she hadn’t changed her Saree it drifted him to the sensuous moment they shared seeing the paint she still had all he wanted is to help her clean in his own way .. Seeing him ogling at her she covered herself properly breaking Om out his thoughts “You are here to ask sorry not to make the same mistake again ..”He reminded himself ..looking away from her he began to speak “I am Sorry ..what happened…erm ..between us should not have happened…”He spoke nervously .A part of her was happy that he did accept that indeed he was wrong but another part was sad he thought the beautiful moment that they shared is a mistake..She hummed expressionless..
“Why were you crying .. is it because of ..that” he asked looking into her eyes ..she shaked her head negative.. Om felt relieved he was guilty that he made her cry..*sigh* “then why Gauri..”He asked concerned.. Seeing the were she was looking away from him, he knew instantly she is not ready to share it with him ..”if you don’t want too .. no problem..” he said softly .. She did not react.. a pregnant pause followed…
“Om ” She spoke turning to his side ..Om looked at her,her eyes reflect pain ,he felt as if her eyes were pleading to him .. but he could not understand why … taking a deep breath Gauri spoke “Are you hiding something from me ?”She asked .. She saw him fidgeting his hands his facial expression changed indeed she was right she thought ..”No Gaurii..i … i am not…Why do you feel like that”He was fumbling with words “Then Why are you stammering..”Gauri asked with a poker face ..Moving a bit closer “Gauri …I am not..”He answered ..
She let out a sarcastic laugh “I am used to this Om I know that you are lying .. I am used to this After all being a b…”She bit her tongue ..”What ..,What was that ..Being what gauri?” he asked furiously seeing her expression he knew something was wrong she is hiding something from him ..”Are you hiding something from me…”Seeing her going pale …She was stammering “No…I’ …
Gauri stop it..I know that you have some secrets which you are not ready to share with me like that even i might have ..So let’s not talk about it..When the right time comes i’ll let you know”,She noded, right now that was the only way left for her to find answers for her questions… without disclosing her identity.
They were silent again.. Staring up at the moon lost in their own thoughts .. after a hour Om stood up ready to go in he turned to the other side to see his firecracker sleeping with a frown ..scooping up in his arms he carried her to the bed when he was about to put he saw her holding his collar so tightly he tried pulling away then giving up he slipped beside her cradling her in his arms “I wish you never did it .. please say that you didn’t..” he heard her mumble but he could not put together what she was talking about .”..”sshh Gauri sleep no one did anything ” he whispered ..
In the middle of the night “No don’t please.stop it…please…”He heard a shout he woke up startled “Gauri sshhh it’s just a nightmare i am here to protect you Jaan sleep” he patted her head ” who is gonna protect you from me?” he heard her murmur.. He was confused why would he need to protect himself that too from her”He shrugged his thoughts aside and slept beside her.
