Chapter 1
Few things left unsaid…
“All set and done…”said maa. He could see her there near the mandap along with bhaaiya and bhabhi and their little prince. She seemed so happy that at last her son going to marry his love…his life. But she never knew the inner turmoil that he is underwent and is undergoing. All he knew is that everything will change after this marriage…
“i think you should go meet her..” said bhabhi
“Meet whom????” i retorted back
“Aarthava i know about what were you thinking…you should go meet her…talk to her…I will manage maa..”
“How did you know that i was thinking about her…?”
“Your bhabhi thinks that she knows everything that is happening here…in and around the world…”said bhaaiya.
“Be serious avi this not a joke…he’s just got 1 day…”
“Aditi you should leave that to him…he has decided that he wants to marry her then you shouldn’t be imposing your decisions on him” bhaaiya said in matter of fact tone.
“I know but….wait a sec you said “my decisions”… said bhabhi faking her anger and started to run behind bhaaiya…
“Arre what are you guys doing” came out the most familiar voice…the voice that was so sweet that could reduce my anger, my tension, and my self…there she is my maa…
“Tum dono abhi tab badle nahi…bacchon ke tarah ladthe rehteho…and what are you doing here?? Go take rest, there is a lot of work tomorrow” she said to bhabhi.
Bhabhi like a three year old kid went out to her room quietly not before pecking me and maa…
“Good night bhabhi and my little baby” i said kissing her belly where the little bundle of joy is resting…”take care and go to sleep “she said ruffling my hair…
“Chalo ab tum bhi aaram karo…tomorrow it is going to be the biggest day of your life… I’ll see my son as a married person tomorrow… but are you happy with this decision of yours… how will you manage without her… i knows things are wrong between you guys but you should sort out everything..”
“Maa i know what I’m doing…and as a matter of fact I’m happy with my decision of marrying and I’m happy that I’m not marrying her…And when she din’t think twice about breaking this relationship then why the hell should i care about her…Tell me”
“Because you still love her…no matter what you will still love her”
“NO…I DON’T…i think it’s late u should go and rest…tomorrow is my big day…our big day… i want you to dance in my baarat…” i said diverting her..
“Badmash baccha!!…good night…”
I held her hand and said I’ll drop you to your room chalo…
