“Mistake” Is that such a simple word. “Forgiveness” is it so complicated. “Love” Is this word so powerful? “Forget” is it simple.
I was looking at the raindrops standing near my window holding the edge of it. As the air touched my skin I felt my palms tightening the window edges. I just wanted to stand like this whole day. As the rain drops touched my face I closed my eyes. They really did not effect my numb skin. A hot tear developed inside my closed eye.
“I love you” his voice ringed in my head and I could not hold it more and the tear won and peeped out of my eye burning my soul. “I will always” his tagline made no sense.

“We are called women and expected to forgive” said my mom when I was sleeping in her lap last night. “Why maa. Are we toys?” I asked her clutching her Sari. She had no answer.
She gave me another sentence “Marriage is sacred” and I got up furiously and asked her. “Is it only sacred for me? He doesn’t have a responsibility of its sacredness?” My eyes were bleeding and tears flew uncontrollably. “Think about your kid at least” said Maa cupping my face. “I want you to apply that to yourself first” I roared and headed to my room.

“Mumma” Rasha’s voice broke me into pieces today morning when I was arranging the food on the table. “What happened bacha are you okay?” I asked grabbing the phone from my mom’s hand. “I miss you badly” she said and my voice cracked like a glass piece and I closed my mouth to control my scream. “I will be there tomorrow bacha. Sorry Mumma made you cry. Now be a good girl and have food and get ready for school. Love you” “Love you too mumma” she said and handed the phone to him. “Hello Ragini” his painful voice never stops my tear flow. I closed my eyes as much as I could. I handed the phone to mom and rushed to my room and stood near the window.
