Maasi walks away she does not trust Kanak anymore. Uma tells Kanak that Maasi is head of their family and her first motto should be to calm down Maasi. Maasi keeps bond paper in her trunk and tells Palomi that now game is on Kanak’s side, soon it will be on her side.
Landline rings. Suman walks to pick it, but Uma comes first and picks it. Suman asks Saras what if she falls in love hearing some mischievous boy’s voice. Saras says these things look good in romantic novels and not real life. Vansh speaks as cosmetic company salesman and asks Uma to give phone to any woman in his house as his company is surveying
Vansh and Ved walk into Bhabho’s room. Bhabho says they are angry that she sent Kanak with Uma. Vansh says she sacrificed Kanak’s life fearing society. Bhabho says Kanak has started liking Uma, she saw Uma’s goodness behind his tough religious image.
Uma and Kanak walk to their room. Kanak laughs and says even she and Vansh used to play telephone pranks. They used to call people and disturb, once they called a man at 12 midnight and told water will not come tomorrow, he filled water whole night and water came even in the morning. She continues laughing and asks Uma if he did not enjoy prank. He stands silently. She throws her veil on him and says she likes troubling him and enjoying his facial expressions. Uma pulls her towards him and she gets nervous. He says he also likes troubling her and says her eyes are without any wrong thoughts today and he likes it, this can be the new start of their married life. Kanak says she wants them to become best friends first and then lovers and then husband and wife, they can speak their heart openly then. Uma takes her to Shivji’s idol and says Shiv Parvathi are most adorable couple and he never heard about their friendship in any holy scriptures, marriage is very superior than friendship, he would rather see her as his lover as friends can be many but lover is only one. She continues her explanation and sees fire spreading in lamp. She alerts Uma. He picks it and asks her to bring water. She brings water and throws it on lamp splashing it even on Um and wetting his dhoti. She then gets shy. Uma says friends don’t feel shy. They both change. Kanak changes into a sari and says Bhabho gifted it, pallus falls down. She feels shy. Uma picks it and dorns it on her. He walks out of room. Drama continues.
Precap: Kanak requests Maasi to let her drink tea as it is her daily ritual like theirs. Maasithrows tea saying there is difference between ordering and request. Uma throws tea power saying this house’s rules have been chosen after much thought and nobody will prepare tea hereon.
