Uma collapses after consuming poisoned laddoos by Maasi. Kanak with others takes him to room and make him lie on bed. Saras cries seeing Uma’s condition and prays god. Uma wakes up calling Maasi. Kanak gets happy. Ved says police is searching Maasi and Aditya and they will be caught soon. Uma asks not to arrest them. Saras says they tried to kill him. Uma says he does not want people to allege a mother. Ved says even then law will take its course. Uma says he does not even then to spoil a mother’s name. Kanak emotionally says Maasi does not know what she lost in greed. Saras cries hugging Uma. Kanak says let her cry as even she lost a mother.
Shiv sitting in Maasa’s room asks Suman if Maasi is really bad. Suman says she does not know. Shiv asks who is feed him food and pamper her. Suman says she will and cries hugging him. He asks who will pamper and scold her. Uma enters with Kanak and says he will, he will give them the love they deserve. Maasa cries seeing her children’s condition. Uma, Saras, Shiv, and Suman cry holding Maasa’s legs.
Kanak walks to Bhabho and cries saying she cannot see Uma like this, she did not forget her mamma and remembers her each day, Uma lost her mother like Maasi. Ved says they should concentrate on Uma and Kanak’s marriage tomorrow. Kanak says how can she marriage after all this. Uma says marriage will happen and requests Bhabho will she give Kanak’s hand to him. Bhabho holds his hand and assures. He leaves. Bhabho tells Kanak that she is very lucky to have Uma as life partner and should not leave him in his sorrows and happiness. Kanak says she will never leave Uma.
Uma walks to his room and imagines Maasi;s love for him. He cries holding Maasi’s sari and then Matruveda pharma’s paper with Maasi’s photo in it. Maula mere lele meeri jaan…song…plays in the background. Uma continues crying reminiscing Maasi…
