The Episode starts with begins with Natasha threatening Dil, saying she won’t let her out of the room until she admits her voice belongs to Shanaya. She then locks Dil inside. Scared and alone, Dil accidentally steps on a toy snake and panics, but then laughs when she realizes it’s fake. Trying to stay brave, she sings “Saath Samundar Paar” and says she believes her father will return one day to reunite her with her mother, just as Baba had predicted.
At the same time, Chandan and his wife try to talk to Raghav, but he brushes them off and walks away with Shanaya. He takes her to his damaged music room, which is still in a mess from his emotional breakdown the night before. Raghav tells Shanaya that with her support and the blessings of Saraswati Maa, they will clean the room and turn it into a place of devotion and music once again.
Just then, Natasha shows up and realizes that if Dil sings, her entire plan will fall apart. To stop that from happening, she tells Raghav they should clean the room first before starting practice. Raghav agrees.
Meanwhile, Dil worries about her pet cat, Mau Billi. She keeps banging on the locked door and begs Natasha to let her out, saying her cat must be hungry. Natasha and Shanaya hear her. Shanaya innocently asks if their father punished Dil. Natasha admits that she herself locked her up because Dil refused to help with something important. Shanaya is confused. Natasha tells her that Dil’s singing voice could be passed off as Shanaya’s, making her an instant rockstar. But Shanaya refuses to go along with the plan. She says her father believes in her real voice and she doesn’t want to be part of Natasha’s lies.
Later, Shanaya finds Mau Billi and comes up with a new plan to mess with Dil. Elsewhere, Padmini gives instructions to Chandan and Bindu to promote Shanaya and Raghav’s upcoming concert by putting up posters everywhere.
Shanaya visits Dil and notices her injured hand. She gently ties a cloth around it and offers her food. Dil asks about Natasha, saying she punished her. Shanaya avoids the question and instead tells her that Mau Billi might run away if she doesn’t follow her. Even though Dil has an injured foot, she follows Shanaya. On the way, she spots Raghav and tries to approach him, but Shanaya pulls her away.
Shanaya leads Dil to the freezer and plays a fake meowing sound on her watch, tricking Dil into believing her cat is inside. Dil steps inside, and Shanaya quickly locks the door, laughing and calling it a prank. But when she tries to unlock the door again, it won’t open. Panicked by approaching footsteps, she flees the scene.
Precap: Dil is trapped, cold, and hungry. A chapati is thrown to her. Natasha offers her a deal—her voice in exchange for her mother. Dil agrees, desperate to reunite with her mom.
