Excited, she slips into the dress, twirls around, and sings while remembering her mother. But her joy doesn’t last long—Raghav spots her through the window and is stunned.
Raghav rushes to her room, banging on the door. When Dil opens it, he confronts her and asks if she is really a girl. With teary eyes, Dil admits the truth and removes her cap. She explains how her Maami, Lata, disguised her as a boy to protect her from her Maama and sent her away to Mumbai with strict instructions not to reveal the truth. Raghav understands the depth of her pain and assures her that her Maami did everything
Soon, Raghav’s father gathers the family and introduces Dil in her true form, Diljeet. The family is surprised but delighted to see her transformation. Shanaya, however, questions why Diljeet is suddenly dressed like a girl. That’s when Raghav reveals the truth—her real name is Dil, and she has always been a girl. Madhu embraces her and even asks Dil to become her and Chandan’s daughter. But Dil, with an emotional smile, says while they are good people, her own mother is the best and she longs for her real parents. Natasha, sensing a threat to Shanaya’s place in the family, secretly vows to reveal her dark side.
Raghav then suggests that Dil should stay as Madhu and Chandan’s daughter until they find her real parents. He reminds her that even Krishna had two mothers, which comforts her. Dil agrees but makes him promise to reunite her with her parents. Raghav swears on it and asks if she knows their names. Dil admits she doesn’t know about her father but says her mother’s name is Nandini.
The mention of Nandini’s name hits Raghav like a storm. When Dil shows him a torn photograph of her mother, Raghav is shattered yet emotional—it’s none other than his Nandini. His world stops for a moment as he realizes Dil is his own daughter. With tears in his eyes, he hugs her tightly, reliving his memories with Nandini. Natasha witnesses this shocking moment and is shaken to the core.
When Raghav asks about her father, Dil innocently says her mother once told her he was an astronaut, but her Maami said he was a singer in Mumbai. The conflicting stories confuse her, but Raghav understands the lies told to keep him away from Nandini. He breaks down and holds his daughter closer than ever.
Natasha makes a wicked move and tries to kidnap Dil. Just then, Nandini arrives, slaps Natasha hard, and leaves Raghav shell-shocked as he finally comes face to face with his long-lost love.
