TRP Toppers: Faltu enters the list of top 5 shows of the week
The latest list of the top shows of this week is out. While Anupamaa and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have managed to keep their first and second spot secure there has been a new entry to the list.
The newly launched show Faltu starring Niharika Chouksey and Aakash Ahuja has entered the list at the third position replacing Yeh Hai Chahatein. The cricket-based show is winning hearts with its story and powerful performances.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Imlie are in the fourth and fifth positions. The current track of Abhimanyu and Akshara giving a second chance to their relationship is indeed keeping the show in the race for the top 5.
Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur Luthra’s Yeh Hai Chahatein has descended to the sixth position in the list followed by Pandya Store in the seventh position. It seems the viewers have had enough of Shweta’s antics as the show was in the sixth position last week.
Bhagyalakshmi, Parineeti and Kumkum Bhagya are in the eighth, ninth, and tenth positions respectively. Kundali Bhagya has descended from the list of Top 10 and is in the 11th position this week.

Seriously kdramas are wayy better than these nasty indian shows concepts that makes no sense at all… 😂😂 You guys are so hypocrites for loving shows that pair young actresses with older actors but when its the opposite you guys will have a problem.
Kdramas are far from the best thing in the world. There are some Indian dramas (not todays’) which are better than them

K dramas is nothing but romance. Even the content based dramas are full of romance. If romance is everything… Go watch some obscene things online. To be frank, just come out of that unrealistic romance concept.
If you happen to ever watch few South films… you would understand story can also work and that romance is not at all required.
K dramas are just and just famous for the romance…nothing else. Pls don’t give a hype to them by claiming their dramas great. Indians can’t appreciate the Indian things…that’s the only problem. If once and for all everyone forget that thing and explore Indian things…you will get to know India is no less.
Agreed Indian dramas are a piece of nonsence. But there are many great contents yaar be it web series of movies…you know world class movies especially. Jaakar ek baar Indian contents khojo !!!
Indian dramas (not nearly all of them) are actually the best dramas I have seen. They are made like a fairytale, with interesting plots and the protagonists fighting evil. They balance positivity with negativity, unlike dramas of other countries where only 💩 happens and sometimes they don’t even end well. Another thing I love about Indian dramas is that they are family friendly, no steamy uncomfortable scenes, no graphic and heavy violence. Contrary to stereotypes, the majority viewers of these dramas or at least half of them are teenagers and even children. Because Indian dramas are enjoyable for all ages. Story – wise, I think only telenovelas can be compared to Indian dramas. But they are not as family friendly, especially Latin American ones, they are full of s x and sometimes even violence
Now, this is about the past. Since 2017 and especially the pandemic, Indian dramas have become a huge pile of 💩 Still not as bas as Turkish or Pakistani dramas.
Name at least one indian tv show that’s airing that makes sense. None. Same thing over again 🙄 next time you defend them think again.

You obviously have some comprehension issues because I did say modern Indian dramas are trashy but there are some treasures among older ones. And by modern I mean since 2017 but mostly since 2021 since there were a few good shows till recently. It’s getting worse year after. Which I don’t have problems with, cause I’m not interested in new content anyway.
Saying one should ‘educate’ himself about TV SERIES is extremely arrogant and ignorant. TV series are not science, that we have to ‘learn’ exactly which is right or which is wrong. Fiction, and arts in general are suvjective and anyone can perceive them however he or she wants. Rather, you should go educate yourself about real life topics because if you think a TV series is that important, well, you live in a balloon. A huge, pink balloon which will someday poof and you will regret wasting so many important moments of your life for a stupid made – up story with zero relevance to reality. Shows are for children. Men handle the real world. If you want to live a happy life, grow up!

That girl in that show was a freakin minor paired up with a dude over the age. Barrister Babu is not the only show that uses underage children as entertainment there’s so many wrong things in other shows. Showcasing these types of content to the audience and setting a bad example of relationships is okay? In what sense, do you think these plots are normal. I get it, it’s for “entertainment purposes ONLY.” The old shows were wayyy better and it’s not all. But now they should at least have the mind to show something meaningful except for saas-bahu/overdramatic plots/love triangle shit stories. The problem with Korean dramas I pointed out already. It’s not the genre. It’s not the plots. But these obscene content ruins everything. That’s why I turned away from telenovelas, even though I think their writing is better than the one of Indian soaps. I understand praising Korean dramas for other things but the romance? It’s disgustingly portayed (again, it’s these scenes and these scenes that ruin it). If you want to watch s x scene, media has invented an entire genre for it, distributed on certain sites and on TV channels made especially for such type of content, why do you have to insert this kind of content in other places as well, some people feel uncomfortable from such scenes and including them prevents them from enjoying the fiction work and the plot
I don’t know if you are familiar with the plot of Barrister Babu, but Bondita was not ‘paired’ with Aniridh in her childhood. And if you are complaining about the general age difference, let me tell you Indian dramas are far from the only fiction who portray it, in fact in anime which people like to praise so much, teenage girls constantly fall for elder guys and even date them. In the overpraised anime Sailor Moon the girl is only 14 years old and the guy is 20+, they are dating, literally have a future daughter (who on top of that is like 7 years old or less and has a crush on the past version of her own father and fights the past version of her mother for him), and in the rebooted version of the anime even have s x 🤮 And you think Barrister Babu content is disgusting? Newsflash, couples with age difference exist in real life as well, they can function and there’s nothing wrong with that as long as both are adults. And Anidita’s age difference is not even that big, it’s not like he can be her dad

Indian TV shows were never good objectively but still some of them were able to provide sensible entertainment in the past. Conpared to other dramas from around the world, they look average to good, because dramas from countries like Turkey or Pakistan for example are way worse. Indian dramas are faulty but not the worst thing in the world. End of story
