Daksh who was shocked called out to ranveer and he just rushed towards the windows to see the whole place surrounded by police and the worst daydream of him shivay and Khanna standing down. The police immediately rushed inside and were arresting all the men. While shivay just rushed near anika and taking anika in his lap called out to her in a frightened tone.
S: anika… anika… can you hear me… open your eyes dear… anika please you can’t leave me… (in a requesting tone to khanna) khanna call the ambulance now…
Khanna obeyed and shivay was continuously crying and trying to wake up his life. Khanna came close to them and on seeing the amount of blood flowing he lended handkerchief to shivay. shivay was so not conscious that he looked at khanna confused while khanna said.
Kh: sir blood is flowing uncontrollably. Please tie this on mam’s head.
S: haan… thankyou.
He tied the cloth whatever was given to him very carefully and after sometime they rushed anika to operation theatre. Shivay and khanna were standing there tensed but the hospital seemed to be very calm and the hospital people too were very calm than the hospital atmosphere. Shivay was getting frustrated due to this calmness that he caught hold of the doctor who had come out and asked in a worn-up tone.
S: what’s happening doctor? Why are you all coming and going out of the room just like that? Why aren’t you doing the operation.?
Dr: (in a very calm tone as if anika’s condition was not at all critical) look sir… this is a police case and we cannot make any operation procedure until and unless police comes here and instigate this case.
S: (getting angry) what did you say? How dare you say like that? Do you even know who I am and what my position is? Inside my wife is lying unconscious and is losing blood and you here are standing as if her condition is not at all critical. Are you a doctor or some devil? Just get the hell in and start the operation now.
Dr: look you can say whatever you want to but these are formalities sir. We have informed the police they might be arriving in sometime.
S: are you even in your senses? What are you saying haan? I also know that police are related to this case but those persons can be handled by the patient’s family. How can an unconscious patient answer to the questions police asks?
Dr: (moving back from shivay’s grip) I have told you what I had to tell.
Shivay was about to get on the doctor’s neck but khanna held him back and made shivay sit back with great difficulty. The doctor was so shocked by shivay’s reaction that he just stood still. Khanna coming near the doctor told.
Kh: I am sorry on my boss behalf doctor.
Dr: well it’s okay.
Kh: sir please start the operation. I will handle the formalities here.
Dr: no, we cannot. We are bind to rules. But it seems like I have your boss’s face somewhere. May I know who he is?
Kh: shivay… I mean mr. shivay singh oberoy.
Dr: (shocked) what? I am sorry for my misbehaviour. I will start the operation right away please ask your boss not to cancel my licence.
Kh: (confused) wait… (but the dr had left already. Khanna said to himself confused) what was that? A few seconds ago, he was not ready to start the operation and now he left like some jinn. Did some bug bite him that he left so suddenly? And what was he talking about licence and all. Shivay sir have not done any dealings with hospital. God knows anyways I am glad that the operation has started. (he came to shivay who was sitting all lifeless and said in a concerned tone) sir I think we should inform everyone back in mansion. (but there was no response from shivay. khanna held his shoulder which made shivay come out of his land of thoughts.) sir we should inform everyone.
S: (in a defeated tone) khanna do whatever you want? I can’t concentrate on the current situation right now.
Khanna nodded and left shivay alone. he informed everyone and all were initially shocked to hear anika’s state. They rushed to the hospital to find shivay sitting lifelessly on a chair and khanna talking to the nurse. Dev and om came to shivay and sat down beside him. Shivay on seeing dev and om indicated the direction of the theatre said in an all lost tone.
S: ani… anika… my… life…
Dev held shivay’s hand and nodded in a negative as if assuring him that nothing will happen to her. All shivay could do was hug him and cry. Dev patted his back and while on the other hand om too back hugged shivay asking him to calm down. In the mean-while the dr. came out on seeing the crowd out gasped for a second. He then regained his posture and the jhanvi on seeing him asked.
J: dr. how is anika?
Dr: sorry who are you mam?
J: I am her badi ma. Now can you please tell how is she.
Dr: look mam… Mrs. Oberoy was harshly treated from the past days and was having deep bruises also. Even as if this was not enough she was given a high dose of drug which has made her body muscle stiff. So, basically if she has to respond to our treatment the effect of drug needs to be removed.
P: (pinky in an anguish) haan so what are you waiting for doctor. What do you need to do to remove the drug effect from her body?
Dr: mam we will have to do blood dialyses. And the condition in which Mrs. Oberoy is this operation might be risky. It can cost her life.
J: okay and what if we don’t choose this option then? Is there any other way?
Dr: I can’t guarantee but we will have to keep her in observation for two to three days… but we can’t promise a proper recovery.
J: okay then do the blood dialyses… we will arrange for it.
Dr: fine then the nurse will come to you with some formality papers.
Jhanvi and pinky nodded. The nurse came after sometime and as she only knew shivay she approached to him with the papers and shivay who had heard what dr had told was shocked and was sitting without any emotion. He looked at her and took the papers from her hand and read it which said that if something happens to the patient during the time of operation then the hospital won’t be held responsible. Shivay smiled mockingly and unclipped the paper and tore it into pieces much to the surprise of the nurse. She was about to tell something back to shivay but he stood up and extending the nurse hand kept the torn pieces and left from there. Dev asked om to handle the situation there and went behind shivay.
Om asked the nurse to bring another paper and he will do the formalities. The operation started and on the other hand shivay was walking aimlessly on the road. Though it was empty no one knew when a vehicle would arrive there. Dev knew what was going on in shivay’s mind so he let him walk alone. in the mean-time a car was coming in the way while it kept honking to drive shivay’s attention but nothing was heard by shivay. dev ran and took shivay aside while the driver came out to scold but dev apologised and took shivay aside. He made him sit on the stairs of the temple in front of which they were and said in a soft tone.
De: shivay… what are you doing yaar? Control yourself.
S: (smiling) control myself like really dev… my life is lying in the OT without any response to the medication and you are asking me to be normal.
De: shivay…
S: (lost in his own world) anika is my life dev… without her I am nothing. My heart is already weak but still the thing I know is that it beats for her. and now when she is like this I can’t manage myself.
De: shivay nothing will happen to her, she will come back to you safe and sound.
S: (looking at him and then smiled and said) whom are you trying to give this sympathy dev… to a person who knows what anika is going through.
De: shivay I don’t know what I should tell you but if you become weak like this then what will be anika’s condition then.
S: (looking back at the temple) you know what dev whenever anything happens to me she always comes to the person who is seated inside this place… (pointing the main temple while dev just obliged to the direction where shivay pointed) she always used to pray that nothing should happen to me and if it cost her life then also she is ready to sacrifice it… and I think her faith has taken her words very seriously…
De: okay so what are you planning to do… challenge the faith which anika has on god.
S: (getting up and simultaneously dev too got up) looks like that idea is also great dev… lets go in.
De: (in a very serious tone) shivay look you are not in your senses come let’s go back.
S: why are you changing your opinion dev? Are you afraid that by challenging god anika’s condition will deteriorate?
De: shivay… please if you will become like this what will be the condition of the rest.
S: (he left inside the main temple and since it was night time there was no one there. Dev too followed him in asking him to stop. Shivay looking at the god said) I have never ever asked anything from you but I have always kept my faith in you. and today if you want me to maintain the same faith in you then please don’t make anika leave me because if she does then I will do something to me (dev looked at shivay shocked while shivay continued) I will kill myself and then you will have to answer the questions which my and her family will ask you.
De: (making shivay face him he said) shivay stop it… do you even realize what you are saying. If you will do something to yourself what will happen to kavya? Who will take care of her? and how can you think of dying so easily. Shivay this is not the way to escape situation. It is called cowardn….
S: (cutting dev in the middle of what he was saying) you mean to say I am a coward fine then I accept I am a coward dev… if god is being mean then I am also much meaner than him. If he dares to take my anika away from me then I right in front of him, right over here openly dare to challenge him I will do something by which people will not even dare to come in front of him even to request for a small favour and no one will dare to step inside the temple. And that’s my open challenge. (facing the idol) now dare to do whatever you can and remember if it is done against my wish then I swear I will do what I have promised to do.
That was the moment dev had seen what real shivay is. He was really dumbstruck to see the madness with which shivay loved anika, he just looked at shivay and thought that a person never dares to challenges god so openly just for the sake to save his wife but today the real specimen of it is standing right in front of him. He just looked admiringly at shivay and then couldn’t resist himself from hugging shivay.
Shivay was initially confused on the sudden hugging but then patted dev. Dev left him and said holding shivay’s hand.
De: well I am glad that anika has got you as her life partner. (shivay looked at him confused) because today I have seen the part of a husband which every wife seeks to be there in her husband. I mean you love my sister so madly that you openly challenged the supreme power the god itself. Now I am very confident that nothing will happen anika. Anyways, I think you are back to your normal self then shall we make a move to hospital.
S: (looking at dev from top to bottom and then checking himself he said confused) what are you saying that I am normal man now… as far as I can see I am same and normal like always.
De: yaa I agree that you look normal but you were not the same before… anyways let’s go your wife needs you more over there not over here in the temple. And I think the challenge you have given to god is enough for him to give you back your anika.
S: enough… enough… enough dev lets go. That will be better.
Finally, shivay and dev left for hospital were om and the rest sighed in relief seeing shivay behaving normal. Om came to dev and asked to him in a confused tone.
O: what magic did you do dev that shivay is behaving normally.
De; well I can’t take the honour of this because today I have seen that side of shivay which you all might have not seen till now.
O: (confused) what did he do now that you are saying like this?
De: have you ever challenged god for something…
O: (still confused) no… why did you ask so?
De: (smiling) because your brother has dared to do so… he has challenged that if anything happens to his wife then he will not leave god in peace.
O: (shocked) what?
De: (patting him) you don’t need to be shocked because he has already done that thing. Anyways, how is anika now.
O: haan the operation is going on… we are also waiting for the doctor to come out. And don’t worry we had arranged all the things necessary for the blood dialyses. So, guess she will get conscious soon.
De: okay and what about daksh?
O; daksh has been arrested and rudy and ishu are there in police station giving elaborate details of what all he has done? So, don’t worry he won’t come out for a long time now.
S: (hearing it he came to them) no om he will come out and you better do the formalities of making him come out of jail as I need him to be out of jail once anika’s condition become stable.
O & De: (they both asked confused) but why shivay?
S: the punishment which police will give to him will not be enough. I know what has to be done with him.
O: but shivay we can’t harm a person who comes out in remand. And you know the rules better than us shivay and still you are talking like this.
S: and who told you that I am asking you to bring daksh out on remand. I am asking you to free him completely.
De: okay that’s fine but we will also give you company in the things which you are going to do. If you are fine with that then om will do what you will ask him to do.
O: haan dev is correct. If you agree with this deal then I will remove all the charges from daksh case.
S: (patting om’s shoulder) not bad om you have started talking in business tone. You are making deal with me then fine I agree. (looking at dev) but I don’t get why are you doing this dev.
De: (smiling and keeping his hands in pocket he said relaxing a bit) well that’s because your safety is very important for me right now, because if in case anything happens to you then I don’t want anika to perform the same stunt which you were going to perform today by getting down under a car.
O: (shocked) what but when did this happen?
De: sometimes back. Anyways, I hope that shivay you have got the answer of what you want.
In the mean-time doctor came out and shivay on seeing him came to him and asked.
S: doctor how is anika? I mean is she fine…
Dr: (holding him and said) relax, relax mr. oberoy… she is fine and the operation was successful. And all thanks to you… (shivay and the rest looked at dr confused) you also did a major role in saving her life. The presence of mind which you had to bandage her head wound had saved her from going into comma. Anyways, she will gain consciousness in some time. And I must admit Mrs. Oberoy is a very good fighter. I will take your leave now.
The doctor left from there while all went inside to find anika resting while shivay was looking at the environment and found what all equipment’s had been attached on anika’s body and dev too was reminiscing anika’s state when she was admitted to the hospital after her accident two years ago. Both had tears filled in their eyes while anika was all pale due to treatment and was also looking very tired. All had a relief that anika was fine after all. Shivay went out to khanna and said.
S: khanna thank you.
Kh: thank you but why sir.
S: it is because of you that anika is alive today.
Kh: no sir please don’t say thank you… saving anika mam was also my duty sir.
S: haan I understand but still thanks… anyways, you leave for home and keep an eye on ishu, kavya and rudy.
Kh: (smiling) as you say sir.

And now to say about the real Ishqbaaz episodes the separation tracks are really emotional and hats off to surbhi and nakuul they are portraying their characters very beautifully. Well every love story needs a twist like this. So, now all we can do is wait till everything gets fine and I am very sure that cv’s won’t take a risk of separating shivika for long. So, have patience and wait for the tashan times which are going to come ahead.
