Voice: oh, my mata… papa. Shivay what is all this? Who is this kid?
Shivay and anika looked at each other shocked. Kavya just looked back turning in the direction of sound to see pinky and she just squealed angrily. Shivay just murmured looking at anika in disbelief.
S: oh, shit mom.
Dadi smiled looking at kavya as she had recognised her and she gave a victorious look to anika on understanding how kavya knew shivay that well in the temple.
Pinky coming near shivay tapped his back making him face her and she said.
P: shivay I am asking you something. Just answer that.
S: woh mom… woh… mom…
He just looked at omru who were with her and gave them a dead glare. They just looked at him with a sorry face. Pinky’s words broke the trance in which shivay was and she said angrily.
P: shivay why has your train got stuck on woh… tell something ahead of it too.
S: (confessing he said) mom you heard that right she is mine and anika’s daughter, kavya.
P: (shocked) what but how can you be sure shivay? what if this girl has brought someone else’s kid and then placing her on you.
S: (getting angry and he stood up saying) MOM… (he said facing her) till these days I silently heard what you told about anika and the unending blaming you laid on her and that’s just because I respect you. but if you are planning to say something about kavya then I swear you won’t be given a single chance to regret for what you said. She is my daughter and it would be better for you to accept the fact.
P: but still shivay how can you be so sure. I mean you were not even ready to accept tia’s kid telling that anika don’t believe that and now this girl has brought someone claiming to be yours and you are blindly believing her.
S: (irritated) mom plz why are you always wanting to get humiliated by me.
P: (angrily) shivay… (in the mean while kavya just angrily squealed at pinky for making her papa angry. Anika looked at everyone then at kavya and held her mad daughter close and shut her mouth. Pinky looking at kavya said) what has happened to you haan you little girl? Why are you making sounds?
A: I am sorry aunty she is seeing these many people for the first time. So, I guess she is reacting like this.
P: anyways shivay I am not yet convinced that she is your daughter and I do believe that anika is playing game with you.
S: (annoyed) mom seriously you are seriously making me mad at you, and you know what mom it is just useless to talk with you. and I don’t need to prove you anything and anika is my wife and I believe her more than anyone else. And frankly speaking I don’t want any proof from anika proving kavya is mine. Because I know what is mine and kavya’s relationship.
Anika sat there numb on hearing shivay defending kavya and taking her side and challenging pinky and the rest were just smiling. While kavya who had not seen this side of shivay sat on her mumma’s lap clueless. She just rested herself back on anika who was already sitting numb. Pinky in disbelief said.
P: shivay are you trying to say that I always do the work of disrupting your life haan.
S: well I don’t have to say that mom. That is the same thing you have been doing with me since last 2 years. But still I don’t get it why are you not accepting anika. I mean tia has been exposed but still you have not overcome out of her thoughts.
A: (holding shivay’s hand and making him calm. She said calmly) it’s okay shivay it is not her fault. And plz don’t talk to her like this at least in front kavya. I mean she is growing up and she learns things at this age. Plz stop. And don’t worry auntyji I will leave…
S: (holding her hand back and he said sternly cutting her sentence) you are not going to leave anika as I had not brought you here to leave me. and if in case mom is not going to accept you then we will better leave to London, but wherever we will go we will be together.
P: (anika looked bewildered at shivay, while kavya was trying to grasp the new side of her papa. Pinky clearing her throat and facing anika) look anika I don’t know what kind of magic you have done on my son that he has been going on singing the same song that I must not speak a word against you and all that. But frankly speaking I still need time for accepting you.
A: (in a comforting voice) amm don’t worry aunty I am ready to wait for as long as you wish me to do.
P: fines then let me also see tills when you wills wait.
D: (coming and sitting next to anika she said) pinky can’t you at least believe in yourself. Anyways if you are done I need to talk to my bahu.
P: (nodding in agreement) haan… haan why nots you carry on.
D: (looking back at anika and then patting kavya’s cheek) so, how are you feeling now puttar. Better (then looking at kavya) well I must say I have got a very cute great grand-daughter.
Kavya just looked blinkingly at dadi and then looked at shivay. shivay gave a smile back to her and she too smiled back. Anika ruffling kavya’s hair said.
A: (smiling) haan dadi… well after all she has to be cute as she is bagad billa’s daughter.
Shivay glared at anika while she just smiled back at him. The rest laughed hearing it and dadi and the rest elders left happily from there except pinky. She was figuring out the circumstances off kavya’s birth. Omru and ishu stayed back and ishu coming near anika said in an annoyed tone.
I: jethaniji I am not talking with you.
A: (confused) arre what did I do now.
I: haan correct what did you do everything has been done by me. well how can I forget I was the one who had met with accident and fractured my hand and all the bandage on my head.
A: haan so I am sorry yaar.
R: well bhabhi where were you lost while driving or were you watching a movie while driving.
O: (slapping rudy’s head) idiot, how can she watch a movie while driving. But anika his question is correct how did you get into accident.
A: haan voh I was thinking something. And then I didn’t concentrate on the driving and the result is in front of you.
S: (in a mocking tone) well omru I am surprised that you are asking this question to her, after all she has a very good craze to get herself into accident.
I: (smiling) didi in one accident we had almost lost you and you are still trying to get away from us.
A: (slightly slapping ishana) chup pagli… I am alive in front of you naa then don’t talk like this. After all I have to change your shivay bhaiya into a human. And have to make him smile to the fullest till then how can I leave you all.
Shivay just looked at anika with love and the rest smiled. Finally, shivay got fresh and omru left with ishana. After they left dev and malika came there when shivika were talking. They both entered the room fighting. Malika was saying.
M: dev stop irritating me else I will surely kill you.
De: arre you were so overconfident that you know driving and all. The show you performed is your driving skill seriously.
M: (in a complaining tone but with a pouty face) but I didn’t know that a person had parked a car behind. Arre at least he could have told before parking it naa.
De: (mocking her) haan now people have to inform you that they have parked a car behind. Idiot.
M: arre but why are you getting mad at me dev all you needed to pay him somewhat 5000/- only na… so what’s the big deal.
De: (irritated) really what’s the big deal malika. 5000/- might be a small amount for you but for me it is big amount.
M: (facing him) oh, fo you are crying like this for 5000/- amount. Wait I will give it to you now.
She started searching her purse for money but she found that she was not having money and looked back at dev and gave a weary smile. Dev asked raising an eyebrow.
De: what are you smiling? Give my money back.
M: woh actually I forgot to take money. Sorry.
De: sorry stupid you know what I need my money back. That’s it.
A: (getting fed up) oh stop it you both. Yaar you are really behaving like a kid.
S: really yaar why are both fighting haan.
De: shivay just answer me one thing and frankly.
S: okay what’s it?
De: in London, did malika even touch a car or precisely did she drive a car.
S: no, she had only joined a class to learn driving and she attended the class for 2 days then she came here and then never got time to go.
De: great then there is no wonder that she hit the car and then she ran away.
A: haan so what’s the problem dev no one saw you na then why are you scolding my friend.
De: well did you just imagine like that only my sweet sis the owner was in the car only when this idiot hit the car and I had to give him the money to calm him down.
S: malika why did you run away.
M: (making a childish face) sorry shivay I was scared and I had even asked this chimpanzee to run too but what to do his reflex action is too slow. He didn’t run at time.
A: anyways. Both of you just shut up. Why did you come here to see me right then do that and leave? Stop fighting.
Dev just pushed malika and went to anika and hugged her. malika just frowned and looked at shivay. they stayed with them for some time and left. Shivay had sent kavya with them and after they left he sitting down near anika and said.
S: well these two are like us naa.
A: (smiling) hmm very much like us. but they can’t compete with us.
Shivay smiled and anika resting her back looked at shivay smiling. Shivay finding her staring him raised an eyebrow and asked confused.
S: what? Why are you staring me and that too smiling like idiots?
A: (smiling) nothing I was just wondering. Anyways shivay you look good while smiling then why don’t you smile often.
S: (he just ignored her and taking a magazine from the table.) anika… now you don’t start the drama with me.
A: (smiling on his reply) well fine if you don’t want then fine let’s talk about today’s incident.
S: (nodding in negative) well you won’t listen right anyways what do you want to discuss about today’s incident.
A: well shivay I am impressed I liked the way you were taking my side.
S: (sitting on the sofa) well for your kind information madam I was not taking your side. I was just telling the fact that’s it. So, I was standing neutral and was not taking anyone’s side.
A: (she knew that shivay would react something like this) fine then I agree with the thing that you will not talk anything from my side but I loved the way you defended your daughter. You know what shivay you are the best papa for her.
S: well she is mine so she has to be defended.
A: (pulling his leg) acha she is yours so you defended her, hence in that case I am her mom so who am I to you.
S: (without thinking he answered) my reason for living.
A: (she said raising her eyebrow) really…
Shivay then realized what he blurted out. He just looked at anika who was smiling. He let out a sigh understanding that he was tricked. He then thought something and smiled to himself. Anika understood the intention behind the smile. She just sat back and rested herself. Shivay stood up and slowly walked to her. anika asked a bit nervous and said stammering.
A: shiv… shivay… what… r… are u… you doing?
S: (in an innocent tone) what do you mean by… (sitting near her) what am I doing?
A: (still nervous) what do you want shivay?
S: amm well since my sitting over here is making you this much nervous. I guess you will nearly faint if I plan to do something else.
A: (gasping) what…
She literally got shocked that she just backed off and in this process, she almost slipped off but a strong hand saved her, shivay smiled and helping her sit back said almost coming close to her.
S: well… well mam I can’t afford to make you fall down again as I need to pester you to the fullest. Anyways let us complete the thing which you had planned in your mind.
A: (almost stammering) wha… what do you mean by I plan… planned some… something. (pushing him away) for your information mr. stupid thinking oberoy I didn’t even think a thing. So, just stay back where you are right now.
S: (smiling and pulling her close by waist. He softly said) not so soon Jhansi ki rani.
A: (looking at him with shock) bill… billu…. Ji… have some shame this is a hospital room.
S: (straightly answering) and why do you think that I should mind that after all I am romancing with my wife.
A: (she had never expected such a reply and said shocked) shivay are you mad…
She couldn’t complete as she felt his lips on her. she was at first shocked but then felt numb. All she could do was surrender and clench his shirt and then went with the flow and finally they parted at the loss of air. anika just shied off and looked somewhere else. Shivay said making her face him by cupping her face.
S: hmm not bad the tadibaaz anika still knows how to blush. And you know what anika you talk too much.
A: (she held his collar by the free hand bringing him closer. This action almost surprised shivay and he looked at her surprised. She said annoyed) how dare you bagad billa kiss me like this. Haan very great idea make use of a patient who is not having the strength to even sit properly. (pushing him back) Haina.
S: (holding her again and pulling her close) well I think you need me to give you the medicine to silence you again.
A: (shocked) what… shivay be in your limits.
Shivay and anika were still in the same position when ishana and malika entered the ward. They just yelled in shock bringing both the love driven people back to real world. Anika pushed shivay away almost making him land on ground. The girls just laughed on seeing shivay like that while shivay just gave a death glare to all three of them. Malika helped shivay to stand up and said.
M: well you both don’t need to worry alright. We both didn’t see anything.
I: haan just that we saw you both were very close to each other.
Shivay just looked at her and found her smiling. Malika too smiled and anika said changing the topic.
A: ishana… anyways what are you both doing here? That too at this time.
S: haan at least you must have entered the room after knocking.
M: haan as if we knew that you both will be doing romance. Anyways shivay I have a nice idea for you (shivay looked at her confused) next time when you plan to do romance put a sign board outside the ward which says “DONOT ENTER. A BIT BUSY AT THIS HOUR.”
Shivay just gave a you are gone look to malika and she just ran off from there. Shivay excused himself and ran behind her. anika and ishana were smiling at their antiques. Ishana sitting near anika said holding her hand.
I: well didi today I can see shivay bhaiya back in his normal form. Thank you soo much for coming back.
