This Bigg Boss winner runs a dhaba in his hometown Saharanpur
The 16th season of Bigg Boss has found its winner in MC Stan. While Bigg Boss has given name and fame to many of its contestants, there are some who failed to make it big in the entertainment industry even after winning the show. One of them is Bigg Boss 2 winner, Ashutosh Kaushik.
Ashutosh who rose to fame with the popular reality show Roadies 5 in 2007 later also won Bigg Boss 2 in 2008. Despite the two shows, Ashutosh is nowhere to be seen in showbiz.
After doing small roles in some movies, he now run dhabas in his hometown Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. In an interview, Ashutosh talked about it and shared that he couldn’t handle the success that he got easily.
In 2009, Ashutosh ran into trouble after he was arrested for riding his bike under the influence of alcohol. His license was also suspended for the same. In 2013 he was involved in pub brawl. In 2021, Ashutosh went to court and invoked his ‘right to be forgotten’ and asked for the removal of online videos, photos, and articles that have had a ‘detrimental effect’ on his life.
In an interview with BT, he said, “Like I stated in my petition, despite my success on the silver screen, I have been suffering psychological pain for my diminutive acts that were erroneously committed a decade ago.”
On the personal front, Ashutosh got married during the lockdown in April, 2020. It was a simple ceremony that took place at his Noida residence.
