The show started on Sony Pal on 16th October 2014 at the 7 pm slot. The story revolves around the lives of Arjun and Poorvi, who are distinctly opposite. Even their families are like earth and sky, as Arjun is the son of the corrupt politician Bachcha Singh and Poorvi’s parents are honest govt officers. Both have a big problem with each other. Poorvi’s mum wants to expose Bachcha Singh and the latter wants to tackle her interruption in his service by using the law, as he has all the police at his hand. Poorvi’s dad Dayal is low in post to his wife, but is proud that she has never got this in between them. His wife is proud of him too as he has given the best values to their children.
The intro scene of Arjun and Poorvi, has the train show up, where he flirts with her and she gives him a rude reply, this getting in his heart. Arjun has a girlfriend Nisha, who is Poorvi’s best friend and is not serious about her. Nisha boasts about Arjun being her BF, as he is quiet rich. Poorvi is disturbed by Arjun’s Casanova nature and feels sorry for Nisha. The girls go to Arjun’s home for dinner, being invited by his brother. A pandit warns Bachcha Singh about Arjun’s future being in risk. He gets worried and is sure that he won’t let anything harm his son. The pandit also says Poorvi that love is not made for her, as it will be proved fatal for the man she loves. Poorvi gets upset.
