Miley Jab Hum Tum (Star One, 22 September 2008 – 19 November 2010) was the first show which gave fame to Sanaya and included her in the top league of actresses on the small screen. The show was youth oriented, having freshness and adorable characters, with was well accepted by the viewers. We even remember them now, Mayank, Nupur, Samrat and Gunjan. Their names are still on the tongue as they have earned this place by their amazing roles and rocking chemistry. Sanaya was paired opposite Mohit Sehgal, in her role of simple, studious and reclusive Gunjan Bhushan. They looked so cute together, that every wished to see them as a real life couple and they indeed became one. Sanaya has announced publicly about her relationship with Mohit and they are a couple in love.
Her next show was more bigger than Miley Jab Hum Tum and was a major hit. We can call it a craze. People have just loved Sanaya in the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? (Star Plus, 6 June 2011 – 30 November 2012.) in the character Khushi Kumari Gupta-Singh Raizada. Her pairing with Barun Sobti was well appreciated by the viewers. Her character was very bubbly, and very lovable. She has taken her fame more higher with this show. Her acting skills were getting a lot of appraisal. This role was completely different from the shy and usually quiet Gunjan of Miley Jab Hum Tum. Arnav and Khushi became a household hold and they have won many awards for this show.
Chhanchhan (Sony TV, 25 March 2013 – 19 September 2013) was her subsequent show after IPKKND ended. She played the role of vivacious and modern girl Chhanchhan who had a different ideology, who went ahead to win the heart of her mum in law Uma Borisagar, who was very strict in maintaining orthodox traditions. Farhan Khan was her co star in the show till they got married, as later on Anuj Sachdeva starred with her till the last episode. The show did decently well, but her pairing with her Anuj Sachdeva was more better than Farhan Khan. They had some romantic scenes to pull up the show, but with time, the show lost his appeal and ended.
Sanaya’s current show Rangrasiya (Colors TV, December 30, 2013 – present) has brought her back in form and made her again a hit soap queen. Her character Paro (Parvati) believes in love, was happy getting married. She comes across BSF Major Rudra when she witnesses him killing her groom. She develops hatred for him and this starts lots of misunderstandings between them. Rudra gets suspended from his post and angrily marries Paro. Soon, Paro comes to know Rudra’s goodness knowing the bad man Tejawat’s truth and she falls in love with him. Even Rudra, who did not believe in love and hated this emotion, has slowly accepted her with love now and these days the couple is making waves by their sweet romance. Ashish Sharma is essaying Rudra’s role. He looks so genuine and earthy. Sanaya and Ashish look good in the show.

My judgement is according to: looks, collaboration of characters, challenging rolls, and chemistry. And for me Sanaya is best with Ashish for all of this reasons.

Opposite Ashish’s strong frame, Sanaya looks even more delicate. They are completing each other. Not to say that they are both Virgo sign under influence of Venus, therefore bringing screen on fire with their chemistry.
The way Ashish touches Sanaya give goosebumps. None of her ex co-stars touched her like that before. Something is there between them invisible, but magnetic. I only wish that show has success and doesn’t end soon.

To answer the question, who Sanaya looks best with, I personally will always feel that it is Barun because of their amazing offscreen and onscreen bonding. Like Sanaya always says, I think their friendship literally emenated on the screen to create something that became phenomenal worldwide. I still can’t forget the UK SP Birmingham event and the chaos that was created just for Sarun.
However, Sanaya looks amazing with Ashish too and that radiates offscreen as well. It’s just when you ask me to compare it to Sarun that I clearly have a favorite. To those people who are saying that this question should be asked an year from now, I don’t understand how it’s not fair to make this poll now. I think any show has the most fans during its primetime, and I think RR has its most fans now due to all the romantic sequences between Parud. Even if RR did gain more fans which I am sure it will, I can’t see Sanish creating the havoc Sarun did at events like UK SP Birmingham, and I am saying this because one of my friends personally went and described the audience as phenomenal – all screaming for Sarun. Sarun literally was international, and I’m not saying that Sanish are any less but for me they are and that’s just my opinion.
Sarun and IPKKND just set the bar really really high and I don’t think fans of Sanaya should hate that. The SA part of Sarun belongs to Sanaya after all, and her portrayal of Khushi is something that will be forever in history.
Asking this question would we most fair years down the line when both shows are done. Then we’d know which pair actually created more history. Asking an year from now gives Parud a more unfair advantage whereas asking now gives ArHi a slight advantage.

But that’s just the thing. Sure PaRud have bold scenes and look very comfortable with eachother. So do characters like Saras and Kumud or even Manav and Chanchan if you want to compare. That’s not all that’s needed though – the chemistry is what matters the most. Of course alot of Parud fans love their chemistry more than ArHi’s, but Sarun’s chemistry was so up there that they didn’t even need many romantic scenes to be as popular as they are today. As few have pointed this out already, the thing is SaRun couldn’t do such bold scenes because for whatever reason Barun was always aloof and detached when he had to do an intimate ArShi scene. Romantic scenes are significant part of onscreen chemistry. They can either appear very mechanical or very natural like we see in the case of Parud. Parud’s love story has just begun and they have already created a craze among their fans.. Now you imagine what would happen if we keep watching them like this for one whole year..
I have to respectfully disagree with this comment. Whereas I think Barun did look hesitant in a few scenes, I still think all the romantic scenes were portrayed beautifully. The entire first half of the serial was perfection, with both actors gaining an immense amount of fans through minimal contact and eye language. Sarun were so spot on in that aspect. You’re thinking about the fact that ArHi didn’t have too many intimate scenes, which they didn’t. I’m thinking about the amount of fandom they garnered despite this fact.
Bold scenes and natural acting during romantic scenes are again not the only thing that hold a story together. While Parud may definitely create a craze later on, the storyline is a huge, huge factor. A continues amount ofromantic scenes for one whole year may become a huge plus factor for them if RR has a good story line but if the creatives start lacking, the romance will become repetitive much like what happened to IPK towards the end. And if you’re going to say that what happened to IPK was because of the unnatural acting by Barun, I have to disagree again. The story is what caused it to drag despite the number of romantic scenes shown.

Before Rangrasiya, I would’ve gone with Sarun. After Rangrasiya began, I have to go with Sanish. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and neither of them look awkward doing intimate & bold scenes. While I love Sarun so much, Barun always looked a little uncomfy doing romantic scenes. There were times where I cringed because Barun was just awkward. Ashish really brings the intense, smoldering and hot aspects to Parud and Rangrasiya. So I’m going with Sanaya and Ashish, with Sanaya and Barun coming in 2nd.

Nope chemistry is not obviously dependent on intimate scene. The thing is you either do it or you don’t. You shouldn’t ruin it by attempting something you cannot do. It’s not like either Barun or Sanaya has issues doing intimate scenes. Otherwise, they would choose some other profession. The fact is that both pairs Sanaya-Barun and Sanaya-Ashish attempted romantic scenes and as hard as it might be for you all to accept, Sanaya-Ashish’s romantic scenes turned out to be better.
I think this whole argument is stupid with people trying to shove their own opinions down other people’s throats. The people that love SaRun’s chemistry more will love SaRun more, and PaRud fans should stop trying to make people see something that they don’t feel. Personally, I have watched ALL of PaRud’s scenes and I still find SaRun’s chemistry better even though PaRud’s scenes are bolder.
