Bandhan … Saari Umar Humein Sang Rehna Hai is the first-of-its-kind television show to delve into one such astonishing relationship between a little girl Darpan and Ganesh, a new-born elephant calf that she accepts as her younger brother. is a heartwarming story of two innocent souls and a very tender relationship that develops between the two – one based on the most basic emotion of love and affection for one’s sibling, standing by each other through thick and thin and completing each other. Always longing for a little brother, Darpan’s dream comes true in the most unexpected way when destiny introduces her to Ganesh, a baby elephant.
The show Ek Muthi Aasmaan had recently seen a major change where Rachana Parulkar portraying the character of Kalpi was replaced by Asha Negi. The major reason of the show going off air was its low TRPs. Zee tv has replaced EMA with Bandhan and the latter started from 16th September 2014. The current track of the show : Ganesh has forgotten his way back home. Ganesh later sees a man selling balloons on a cycle and Ganesh runs behind the cycle in order to get the balloons. Later, Darpan bursts into tears and her parents try their best to console her. Later, Mahesh along with Darpan and her mother begin their search for Ganesh. Ganesh on the other hand swims across the river and continues his chase for the balloons. Mahesh finds out that Ganesh was seen going towards the highway and get worried for him. Darpan finally finds Ganesh in between a crowd and gets emotional when she sees Ganesh holding a balloon with his trunk. Mahesh is happy as he got promoted in his office.
