EPISODE 1
The scene starts with Junaid standing in the orchard of his mansion with his little 4 year old son, Aman. Parveen and Dadi comes running towards Junaid and Aman, where Parveen, upon reaching near Aman, snatches him from Junaid.
Parveen: No Junaid, no…I will not let you sacrifice Aman for your selfish deeds. As a mother, I can’t stand to see the sacrifice of my son’s life for the deal made to the Jinn.
Junaid: Oh, come on Parveen. Please don’t be too emotional. Once the Jinn appears, I will tell him about my refusal to sacrifice Aman. I will do something and make the Jinn understand. I will see whether I can give him something else other than Aman’s life. And you just now said about some sort of ‘selfish deeds’. What selfish deed did I do?? Making a deal with the Jinn to be prosperous so that I can clear of all my debts…Is that something selfish??!! After all, I did the deal for my family.
Parveen: Junaid, it’s not what like you think. A deal made with Jinn is a DEAL and nothing else. If you don’t give him what he asked for, he will surely take the lives of all of us. As the deal now is complete and you yourself have become a rich Nawaab, the Jinn would definitely ask for Aman. I don’t mind sacrificing myself, but I will not let my Aman’s life get sacrificed. And I don’t think so you really made the deal for your family, as you were really greedy on matters of money and fortunes.
Junaid: I can’t waste my time arguing with you. I will handle the matters by my own.
Saying this, Junaid grabs Aman from Parveen. Parveen, who is in the fear of losing her dear son’s life forever, falls at Junaid’s feet and begs him to run away with Aman. Junaid decides to not choose the option of running away as he doesn’t want himself to be portrayed as a coward in front of the Jinn. Junaid knows very well about the consequences he will have to suffer if he does not abide by the deal made. So, he decides to sort out the matters with the Jinn by taking a huge decision: HE DECIDES TO SACRIFICE AMAN’S LIFE. Parveen, on the other hand is aware of Junaid’s evil intentions and decides to not let Aman’s life be affected at any cost.
As they both stand arguing, a huge storm appears. The sky blackens. A thunderbolt strikes. A tall, giant like figure appears from within the black clouds. The giant, known as the mighty Sifriti Jinn, stands firmly, while Parveen, Dadi, Junaid and Aman stay dumbstruck.
Jinn: So, Junaid, you have come to complete the deal made between us right?
Junaid: Yes, and I am here to give you, one of my twins, Aman’s life.
Dadi and Parveen stay shocked as Junaid goes on to give Aman to the Jinn. But then, Parveen pulls Aman back from Junaid and goes on to run away with him along with Dadi. Junaid, who is hell shocked, goes on to chase the three, to get back Aman. The Jinn, who by now had become tired of the nuisance created, gets angry thinking that they were trying to escape from him. With all his power, he sways his hand which emits a lot of power along with light and strikes at the ones running away. The Jinn’s power strikes Junaid, who falls down on to the ground. Dadi and Parveen turn back, where they see the lifeless body of Junaid.
Parveen: Ammi, please take Aman and run back onto the mansion. I will come soon.
Dadi: But, Parveen…
Parveen: Just go Ammi. PLEASE!!!
Dadi heads back to the mansion along with Aman. Parveen goes near Junaid’s lifeless body and breaks down into tears.
Parveen (crying): Oh No! What a fate have I got! Despite getting the one whom I love as my life partner, I had to see his death!!
Jinn: So Parveen, you are really shattered on seeing Junaid dead, right?
Parveen (angrily): Yes, I am! But I won’t let you do this with my son Aman or with any of my dear ones.
Jinn: Oh, so you are going to be the sole protector of your family??!! Anyways, you might try to do so as you are not an ordinary human. After all, you are a Jinn with mighty powers. You had leaded a normal life in the Jinn World until you came across Junaid and fell in love with him. And to be with him for the rest of your life, you ignored my orders, insulted me and left with him to live happily. The day you left the Jinn World, I had made it my urge to take revenge on you for messing with me. And there! I did my revenge by killing your love. But it’s not over yet. I will have to complete my revenge by taking your dear son Aman’s life FOREVER. After all, I know how much you love Aman a lot!
Parveen: I am trying the best to forget my life as a Jinn. But if you dare to hurt Aman’s life, I will have to become the old ‘Jinnat Ka Mallika’ to defeat you. STAY AWAY FROM AMAN OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Jinn: Then, let’s see who is going to win. Do whatever you can to protect your family while I will play my part cleverly. Let me see for how long you will protect your son!!
Saying this, the Jinn steps back slowly disappearing into the clouds. The sky starts to get brightened. Parveen, who is distraught and shattered, recollects her life as a Jinn and how Junaid had an impact in her life. She sees Junaid’s body turning to ashes.
Parveen: I lost Junaid. What if the same happens with Aman? No, never. That will never happen. I will protect all my children from the evil eyes of the Jinn. At the same time, I will have to make sure that my real form of Jinn doesn’t get revealed to others in my family. I WILL NEVER LET THE SIFRITI TO WIN!!
In the mansion, Tabeezi comes, upon being called by Dadi to check upon Aman, who had been unconscious. Parveen too comes back and gets shocked to find Aman lying unconscious. She runs towards him.
Parveen: AMAN!! What happened, my dear?? Wake up!!!
Tabeezi: Ammi, what happened to Aman??
Dadi: Everything was fine sometime back. But then, suddenly his eyes widened and turned from brown to blue. I felt like his eyes had some mysterious power in it and then he just fell unconsciously.
Parveen recollects how she was a Jinn before. She recollects her eyes turning blue, nails growing longer and having the ‘JINN SPIRAL’ on her neck. She gets tensed.
Tabeezi: The Jinn has set his eyes on Aman, that’s why his eyes have started turning blue. The Jinn’s hold can get stronger day by day and ultimately…Aman would himself turn into a complete Jinn! And….
Dadi and Parveen get shocked. Tabeezi takes out a large book from her bag, turns pages hurriedly and says:
“AND ONLY AN AYAANA CAN SAVE AMAN FROM THE CLUTCHES OF THE JINN!!”
Elsewhere, in a distant place, in a small house, a lady, wearing some fresh jasmine flowers on her hair, is seen lullabying a little child.
Lady: Don’t worry my Jaan, you will definitely be safe. Glad that I had found you at the right time near the river in a basket and do you know how I came to notice your presence despite you being a little child? It’s because you shimmered and glowed like a bright light and so I will name you as Roshni! (Which means light/brightness)
The lady places the baby on the cradle. Just then, a small, dried up jasmine fall on the baby’s hands. After placing the baby, the lady goes to the kitchen for her work. And then, something magical happens. The dried up jasmine flower, on the baby’s hands, transforms into another fresh, beautiful jasmine. Seeing the flower, the baby laughs.
