Hey everyone, long times no see, I know, I know. So I decide to give you a summary of what all has happened in this ff till now, as I haven’t updated in what must be eons.

THE PRESENT
Swayam, Sharon (swaron), Ragini and Lakshya (raglak) were residing in some temporary- like settlement consisting of cottage. One day, their planned outing is spoilt due to some aircrafts attacking the settlement, shooting darts which instantly kill the victims, Lakshya and Swayam board the aircraft, take down the group of attackers but the pilots crash the plane. The boys miraculously survive without any major injury (although Swayam is unconscious for days). On reaching back, they find that a fatal disease had spread, and people mostly assumed it to spread by touch. Raglak and Swaron along with Mishty and Ishaan, decide to travel to the headquarters of the attackers with the help of maps they found in plane, to get a cure for the virus that was present on the tips of darts used for shooting. On the last minute, Mishty begins showing symptoms of illness and requests the group the carry on without her. The group is forced to leave her, for their own safety although Ishaan refuses and stays with her. On the first night of trek, swaron abandon the ‘no touch rule’ and share a kiss (more details in Chapter 10). The same night, they are confronted by Ishaan, who reveals that he ‘put Mishty out of her pain’ and that he now has the disease. As Ishaan gets out of control, Lakshya is forced to kill him. Next the group encounter Kartik and Naira, whose settlement too was attacked and the latter was hit with a dart on her shoulder. As Naira, never died or got the disease, the survivors of that attack abandoned her with Kartik who refused to leave. As the group of six again leaves for the headquarters, they hear sounds, which Naira conform, is of her people. Swayam and Lakshya go to investigate, and while having a goodbye and pep talk, Ragini too, breaks the ‘no touch rule’ by hugging Lakshya and crying. Swayam and Lakshya leave, only to be caught by Naira’s people while spying. The duo is captured and beaten for bring the monster (Naira), and thus bad luck with them. The boys escape after an accidental fire incident causing the forest fire, and return to find no sign of the girls and Kartik. Swayam convinces Lakshya that Ragini was no coward but must have taken the group towards headquarters as she had the responsibility of civilians too. They reach and secretly enter the headquarters, and while hiding, reach a room where an old man is waiting for them.
THE PAST ONE YEAR: SWARON
Swaron had been neighbours when one day, they suddenly find out that sun’s heat had increased tremendously and killed the people above ground (they survived only as they were travelling in underground train at that time). They are saved by Lakshya from goons, who explain the real situation to them. They join the group of Lakshya, Ragini Mishty, Ishaan, Jake and Gia and seek refuge in a tower. After some days, they are taken hostages but escape with raglak’s plan, unfortunately loosing first Jake and then Gia in the process.
(This is all that happened as the swaron past is mostly in Swayam’s nightmares)
THE PAST ONE YEAR: RAGLAK
Ragini was a military doctor who was on the troop lead by Lakshya during the days before the sun’s heat killed mostly all. (It is guessed that she only convinced Lakshya to let some people join them in the journey to tower as he says the group is big enough to attract suspicions after rescuing swaron.) Much light hasn’t been thrown on their past but chapters 14 and 19 have a fragment of their unforgettable and memorable conversations.

Special thanks to Vchinnu, who by her comment, gave me the motivation to take up my first and abandoned ff. Although the parts will not be regular, maybe once a month, I will surely try to complete it.
