Yuvraj was still, shocked, he just watched them leaving. Sharad kept his hand on his shoulder.

Yuvraj: (in utter disbelief, unable to contain himself) Wha…. What just….Why was…. Why was she….? How could…… (Shouting) How could she forget me? How did she forget what happened yesterday? What was all these? What happened to her?

Everyone was staring at them, so Yuvraj became silent.

Sh: (contained) there is something you should know about her.

Yuvraj and Shavna were at Dr. Mishra, girls’ guardian and Suhani’s doctor.

Dr: That accident affected her brain and nerves very badly, and now her memory is valid only till the time she goes to sleep, she forgets everything the very next day. By far, there isn’t a cure for her….

All were silent, Dr took Yuvraj with him.

Dr: See Yuvraj, her life is very tough, complicated. It is similar to the sand drawing she does, with just one wipe, everything vanishes…

He looks on with tearful eyes.

Dr: It is very difficult for a girl like her to deal with all these, I mean love and all. It would mostly affect her badly, it is almost impossible for her to lead a normal life.

Yuv: But Dr,

Dr: (cutting him) So please Yuvraj, leave her alone, let her lead her life as she doing now, don’t make it tough for her,

He looked on.

Dr: The person who is most concerned about her is saying this, please, please leave her alone.

Doctor leaves and Yuvraj stands still.

Later he with Sharad go to the auditorium were Suhani had her show.

They saw her leaving, she was all happy. He watched her leaving, his eyes were filled with emotions, love was evident in his eyes, he was very happy seeing her smile, her smile was all that mattered to him and he was determined to have her in his life.

Sh: Guru… It is good,

Yuv: NO Sharad, I can’t. I can’t let her go. I just can’t. I love her damn it.

Sh: But her memory,

Yuv: So what?? What is the big deal in it? What if she forgets everything after a day? I love her yaar, I really do. I love spending time with her, and I can’t imagine my life without her.

Sharad stood still.

Yuv (holding Sharad’s shoulders and trying to convince him): What if, what if she had this accident after our marriage? Would you tell me to leave her then? No na, so why now? What is the difference? What is your problem? What is the big deal?

Sh (almost shouting): The problem is that she forgot you and will forget you, always. However good time you both share, she will forget everything the very next day!

Yuv (With love glittering in his eyes): Memory is in brain na, one day, one day my face will appear, not in her memory, but in her heart. I am sure and I will wait for that day.

H e leaves for home.

He went to Pratima.

Yuv: Ma….

Prat: So what have you decided?

Yuv: What is there to decide Ma? I love her.

Pratima didn’t say anything.

Yuv: Ma, you used to say all the time na, that soul mates should never be separated. Ma, I know it, I know that she is my soul mate. Ma she is born for me. Why else did we meet likewise, it was like destiny wanted us to meet, like everything was pre planned. Ma, we were together only for a day, just few hours, but within that small time span, I could know a lot about her. How could I Ma. Ma, I never felt this easiness with anyone else. I told her many things about me, why would I share things with a stranger? All these happened only because we were destined together, because she is born for me. I can’t back off!

Prat: Who told you to?

Yuv: Ma?

Prat: I always stood by you, and now too, on this decision of yours, I am with you.

He felt very happy and grateful and he hugged her.

Sh: (walking in) I too.

Yuvraj looked at him.

Sh: I too, am with you.

They hug.

Prat: But Ma ji,

Sh: Forget Dadi Mausi, it is the second hurdle, first try to create an impression in her.

Yuv: But before that, I have to talk to Bhavna.

Prat: Yeah, you are right, first talk to her.

He nodes.

Prat: Don’t worry, everything will be fine.
