Yuvraj and Sharad go to Pratima.

Prat: Why did you lie?

Yuv: Ma, I am fed up, how many times I said that I am not interested in this alliance, then why are they after me. This was the only escape I could think off.

Pratima nodes.

Prat: Interesting….how you made a story within seconds.

Yuv: (smirking) actually it isn’t completely cooked up, half of it is true…….

He looks at Sharad.

Prat: What?

Yuv: Yeah, there were two girls at the restaurant and I think that one of your bahu is on her way…….

Sharad trembles.

Pratima looks at him.

Sh: Mausi, that I,

Pratima smiles.

Sh: Mausi I didn’t even talk to her.

Prat: So what are you going to do tomorrow?

Yuv: Something, anything, I don’t want to be bored, so I said Dadi it is a double date.

Pratima smiles.

Next day Yuvraj and Sharad leave in vintage car.

Soumya and Dadi saw them leaving.

Dadi: I am certain that he is lying. You spy on him.

And Soumya leaves after few minutes.

Sharad insists Yuvraj to stop at the same restaurant. They got in and Sharad spots Bhavna.

Sh: Guru, she is here, come, we will talk to her.

Yuv: Are you mad? How can we? We don’t know them, don’t be stupid.

Sharad became a bit a dull and they sat on a table.

Yuvraj spots Soumya outside the restaurant.

Yuv: Oh no!

Sh: What?

Yuv: Soumya is here,

Sh: (laughing) looks like she is spying you,

Yuv: She is… What will I do now?

Sh: Come with me.

He grabs Yuvraj with him and takes him to the girls’ table.

Sh: Can we sit here?

Bh: Why? The place is not full, then why are,

Yuv: We know, it is not that, we are in a small problem,

Girls exchanged looks.

Yuv: Nothing to worry, nothing illegal or serious, but….. and you can carry on, we won’t disturb you.

Even though the girls found it odd, they agreed. They continued with their ice creams and Yuvraj got busy on his phone. Sharad was finding it hard not to stare at Bhavna.

After 10 minutes.

Yuv: (To Sharad) look if she is gone.

Sharad looks around and misses to see Soumya.

He nodes yes.

Yuv: Thank God. (To girls) Thank you,

He started to get up.

Suh: If you don’t mind, can you tell us what was all these?

Only then he noticed her.

Yuv: Oh well that,

He sits back and tells the whole thing, of course without saying Soumya’s name and without mentioning about seeing them on the previous day.

Suh: This means we are your dates?

Yuv: In her eyes, yes. I said it is first date, I will tell her that it didn’t work out.

Suh: Interesting and funny too.

Yuv: Circumstances…

She laughs.

Then they four introduce each other.

Suh: Actually, Di is in similar problem,

Bh: (seeing someone) Oh no!

Suh: (seeing that person) and here he is.

Amit comes to them and greets Bhavna and Suhani and Suhani greeted back but Bhavna was quite.

Amit: These two?

Suh: (after a second) this is Sharad Bhaiya, Di’s boyfriend.

Bhavna coughs being shocked. Other three were surprised.

Amit: Bhavna’s boy friend? I didn’t know that,

Suh: Nor did I, I felt some doubt and questioned her, and she told me about Sharad Bhaiya. I wanted to meet him and so here we are.

She signs thanks to Yuvraj for the idea, he smiles.

Amit: (To Yuvraj) You?

Yuv; I am Sharad’s brother, I came to meet Bhavna.

Amit: Ok.

He looked suspiciously at Yuvani. Suhani understood this.

Suh: Ok Di, I am leaving, Bhaiya, it is nice to meet you.

She signs Yuvraj.

Yuv; I too am leaving, have a nice day, both of you.

They started to leave; Bhavna was still in shock, Suhani pated on her hand and got up.

Suh: (undertone) He won’t disturb you anymore.

Yuv: (To Amit) what about you?

Amit: I am thinking of taking these two for a trip,

Bh: What for?

Amit: As a treat from me.

Suh: But they are not married.

Amit: I know, actually I am leaving for US this week, well, after you know….. and won’t be coming back, I came here to tell bye.

Bhavna fumes at Suhani, she smiles sheepishly.

Amit: Come on guys, let us leave.

He takes Shavna with him, they leave with him unwillingly, and Yuvani look perplexed seeing Shavna’s face.
