The Last Spirit Chapter 6 ‘Say something!?’

Hii everyone!! Thankyou for your lovely response. From now I am veryyy busy and dwell up. Offline exams 🙂 and also my prepration is well but I want to be confident enough not get scared so please bear my irregularities. 

Does anyone know where Menna Di is?

Riddhima was happily eating an apple, and looked at Vansh who was just gazing her all over. She extended the half eaten apple to him, Vansh chuckled and nodded for a denial, and she continued eating her apple.

Flashback

As Vansh heard the humming of classic far away, he knew it was her. His lips turned to a slight smile as he moved ahead, she was there sitting in the little light of moon, but enough for Vansh.

He silently came and sat next to her making her flinch all of a sudden, she glared at him for a while and saw the half burnt stick in his hands, she smiled.

“Give me your hand” Riddhima said to him.

Vansh was… curious. First time she said something herself.

“Why?” He asked.

“First give then I will tell” Riddhima said.

Keeping the half burnt stick on her hand, she indicated Vansh to cover her hand and stick with his hand. And as he did, the fire sparkled, hurting both of them. Riddhima hissed a little but kept still so the stick catches fire.

And as expected, it did.

“Explain?” Vansh asked.

“When you took me out of the pit, you held my hands and there was fire all around. So…I knew it” Riddhima said and smiled cheekily.

“How did you enter inside..?” Vansh asked making her frown, but he wanted to know where she has come from.

“I ran inside and fainted….huuuh! Oh no I have to go” Riddhima stood up to go, but Vansh caught her wrist.

“It’s night. Go wherever you want but tomorrow. And with me.” Vansh said to her.

“Why you are my gaurd?” Riddhima asked with a frown.

Vansh sighed, she’s irritating too

“No you aren’t. But I also want to meet the Optimistics.” Vansh said and she sat back.

“Do you know how to control this sparkle?” Riddhima asked him and he chuckled nodding in no.

“No I don’t. But it’s works sometime.” Vansh said to her.

Vansh passed her the apple and she took it happily.

Flashback ends

A growl brushed over and Vansh stood up with a stick while Riddhima had already taken her knife.

First time ever they had seen such thing, glowing more than fire in the dark… It growled again. Vansh empty handed looked at Riddhima who nodded and passed him another knife she had kept.

When it started taking back steps with his eyes towards Vansh, both were ready for the attack.

It ran towards Vansh, but instead jumped at Riddhima which made Vansh gasp and horrified. A clinch voice came and something splashed on Vansh’s face. He opened his eyes, it was all…

Blood

Vansh wiped his face, it wasn’t normal, the blood, was golden, shining. He looked towards Riddhima. She was standing taking heavy breathes while the animal was lying on the ground lifelessly with its golden blood splitting off.

“Are you fine?” Vansh asked her, and she nodded in yes trying to digest what she did. Her trainings were used for the first time ever.

The animal let out a cry, and Riddhima being Riddhima. Looking for suitable big leaves she covered it’s wound and started plucking small leaves making a paste to apply on the wound, which was golden and glowing.

Slowly grinding the leafs on a flat stone, she made a paste and as soon as it touched the wound, the animal vanished into golden sparkles, and formed a lady, with the sparkles. She was smiling, and she extended her hand towards both of them and their sparkles too started shining.

Riddhima forgot about herself, and being lost followed the lady wherever she went. But same didn’t go with Vansh, he followed Riddhima.

With a sudden thud the sparkles fell on the ground diffusing in it. Riddhima sat there with a frown and turned back. Vansh was standing looking at her with his intense yet soothing gaze.

“Where are we?” Riddhima asked Vansh.

“Halima tutusama!” A voice shuddered from behind.

Small arrows attacked both them, tieing them with ropes. Riddhima hissed at the sudden action. Many people crowded them together, while Riddhima extended her hands towards Vansh, but they were pulled apart from each other leading to opposite places.

Riddhima felt a needle piercing her neck and fell unconscious in the arms of the lady holding her, they tied her to a wooden stick and 2 people lifted her up. Like a lamb for sacrifice, she was going to be….

Vansh was fighting with the men efficiently. Kicking one and pushing the other, punching one and lifting another. More than 10 people were lying on the floor and Vansh, was still ready to fight.

A strong kick landed on his chest the very next moment, he lifted his hands to attacked, but for his dilemma it was a lady.
Standing back in normal position, he calmed himself. While the lady kicked again he just held his leg and left it with a jolt trying not to fight back. And there she stood, with a shining sword in her hand.

She came towards Vansh with all the power, but Vansh held the sword from between causing it to break it too and bleed his hand, with a new colour of blood.
Vansh was pushed into a small box, small yet strong. He could hear much commotion along with drum beats and the people singing some song. He closed his eyes, gathering some more energy to fight more people.

The box was opened itself, and Vansh stood up watching the surroundings. Looked like a village of any distorted place. His eyes roamed between the ladies looking for Riddhima and she was nowhere to be seen.

He was freed by the people so he wandered around looking for Riddhima, shouting his name. He came back to entry of the village to see most of the villagers gathered in a circle and something going on inside. All the villagers were touching the holy sword and taking its blessings.

Who knew it was getting ready for the sacrifice
