Arohi smiled but a quick tear dropped from her eyes..she wiped it and smiled even wider…
Last few weeks, has been a toll for her and her daughter Ruhi, especially after the return of akshara…
She felt a hand on hers.. she immediately looked up…and her her eyes welled up even more , it was her Neil.. Neil blinked both eyes and smiled at her ..Arohi stood there froze…Neil… she went to touch him get a hold of him, feel his warmth one last time but he vanished..
She vividly remembered that day, the dreadful day she meet her sister, after which everything fell apart for her…

Abhi had returned from the Shimla trip, just then…
And two days later…..
A call had come from the camp to the birla hospital..asking his immediate assistance in a Child’s case…and it was urgent….
So the management decided that Abhi and Aaru would head there and handle the case..
But little did Aarohi know, what was coming for her and her daughter..
They had just reached Shimla..It was hard for them as they had to convince ruhi to be with her dadi alone. Infact this was the first time when both Arohi and Abhi had left ruhi and have left.
They promised her more chocolates and a special vacation especially with the three, and then Ruhi had let them go…
But this was in the past now..
Now, They are actually in Shimla…
They both entered the hospital and Arohi checked with the receptionist about the child, and his reports…
She walked to his cabin, checking his reports…She opened the door…and there she saw a cute little munchkin all weary and tired with drips on his hand …wearing his specs …he saw with those gleamy yet shining eyes.. Doctor ho app?? He asked her in a cute voice…
Arohi’s eyes welled up seeing him…she had seen the reports and she knew the Kid was critical…
But she adjusted himself and went near him, she leant foreword and gently caressed his hair… Haan… and sat beside him…
Aap hi badi doctor ho?? The kid asked…(your are the Big doctor??)
Haan…ji.. she replied with a smile…The kid slowly lifted his face and saw arohi up and down itne bade bhi nahi ho aap…isse bada toh mere papa hai…(You aren’t they Big my pap is bigger than you) Aarohi understood he was talking about her height and chuckled lightly…
Main hi doctor hoon..dekho…(I am the doctor) Pointing to her name plate… Dr. Alohi Neil Billa The kid read..
Haaan… She smiled.. waise doctor main teek hojaunga na?? (Will I get well doctor)The kid asked her ..
Hmm…thodsa medicines denga aur tum.. she slightly touched his nose.. perfectly fine ho jaoge…( We will give you some medicine then you will get fine )

Arohi turned back and her eyes widening and her pained a little more ..It was akshara..who was standing shell shocked behind her..
They both just looked into each other eyes filled with tears..
Arohi’s heart pained to see Akshara in that state, she knew akshara had a family and had a new life, but this??
She immediately wiped her tears..and dragged a surprised Akshara out of the ward and took her to an empty cabin..
Arohi closed the door and came inside…. Akshara….. she hugged her…While akshara stood there all perplexed..
Arohi broke the hug… Don’t worry akshu …hum bacchlenga yaar …tu tension mat le..(we will save him don’t take stress)
Akshara slowly spoke wo…oj hospital waalone ne expert help maangi thi wo tut hi kya ??(so you are experts that the hospital told about?!)
Haa…Arohi replied immediately But Don’t take tension akshu…I know jab ruhi ko choti chot bhi lagti hai toh mujse bardaash nahi hota…par abhir case critical..hai..himmat rakh akshu hum sambhal lenge…Abhimanyu bhi hai… ( when ruhi gets small wounds also I get worried ..abhir is critical…dont lose hope abhimanyu is also there )Akshu stared at her blatantly…Akshu…Akshu… she shook her to bring her to her senses..
Akshara immediately shrugged off her hands… I don’t need your help I can save my son.. You two can go back… saying this at her face she started to walk past her, but arohi quickly held her hand..
Dekh Main manti hoon I might have not been the best sister but you know I am the best doctor, usse surgery ki zarurat hai..akshu..tabhi bachne ka chance bhi hai…ab toh apni purani gile shikvey bhul jaate haina….( We have to operate that’s the only way he can survive)Arohi asked with tears in her eyes..
Aaru …par…. Before Akshara could speak Aaru made her sit on a chai and knelt before her.. Don’t worry about Abhimanyu..tu isliye dar rahi haina ki abhi tumhare samne aa jayega…( You worry you have to face abhimanyu right? ) I will take after it….but please let us do this operation…I promise she held her hand.. We will save Abhir and its my responsibility ki tumhare baare mein kisi ko kuch na pata chalein….(it’s my responsibility that abhimanyu never finds you out)
While she was taking Abhimanyu barged in.. Aarohi main tumhi doond raha tha…( I was looking for you Arohi) Aksshu immediately put her dupatta around her head…Abhi understood that Arohi must be explaining this to the Kid’s mom…
Tum jao main aati hoon..(you go..I will come) Arohi signalled abhi to leave
Abhi too left …
Arohi kept her hand on Akshu’s lap… dekha..maine abhi ko yaha se bhej diya…(look i have sent back abhi) she hugged her… and gently broke her hug and wiped her tears ..you must be thinking yeh toh meri behen nahi…par neil ke baath na…maine yeh sikha hai ki grudges hold karke koi fyada nahi..kyunki log… (You must be thinking I am not the Arohi you know but trust me after neil I have learnt not to hold grudges..because people…)her eyes watered but she adjusted herself… Don’t worry akshu…
Akshu too hugged her back…They gently broke the hug… I will discuss with Abhimanyu and let you know..number dena apna? she got her number and left the room..
She met Abhimanyu…
I am glad you meet the mother and explained everything…I met his father..so I guess we can go for operation… Abhi said..
Arohi nodded …
Pre test and observarttions are done..and I am checking that only..He is AB negative like me …. Abhi chuckled….and I have asked for blood units of blood also just to be safe.. Arohi nodded …
A sister came in rushed and informed that there was no blood for him in the blood bank…, while arohi and Abhimanyu looked at each other..
Itne short notice pe hum..arrange bhi nahi kar payenga…arohi said…(we cannot arrange in this short notice)
I will give then?? Abhi suggested…Phir operation?? Arohi asked..
You do I will assist… Arohi nodded and yes and they prepped for the operation..
While they both went..
Aakshara called bade papa and explained her situation..she hoped Abhi never finds out that the child he is opeating is his own son..
Akshara knew how abhi would rect and she felt like the abhi who has helped her and been there with her in all times should know..what is going on..
Abhinav was walking to and fro in tension Akshara pulled him aside and made him sit…
Abhinavji..I need to tell you something.. Abhi nahi aksharaji humara bacha andar hai..
Abhinavji…meri baath suniya..uska baap ….. Haa..main hi hoon uska baap..batayiye…(Listen to me…abhnavji…his father…haan..I am his father)Abhinav said innocently. Ashara was stunned to speak…What will she say now, that Abhir’s biological father is operating him?? She was sure that he will break into thousand pieces after that.
She just assured him everything will be alright…
Few hours in….
Arohi came out of the OT and informed akshara that the operation was successful but it might take time for Abhir to recover…Ashara immediately took her in a hug…Arohi patted her back…
Par ab tu jaa..abhimanyu aata hoga.. (No you go .. abhimanyu might come)she whispered in her ear..
Abhinavji main mandir jaake aayi she said relived and nodded to arohi and left..
When Abhimanyu came Abhinav thanked arohi and abhi and they were discussing it…

A sister had come in with all the reports..and handed over to abhiman
yu and aarohi..
She handed over and came back… sir just an observation..we have tested Abhir’s blood before and when you gave blood we tested it too ..and there are many correlations in it.. like the Antigens in your body and his are…. Abhinav came in and the sister went silent …
