Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..

Shivaay was looking at Anika, waiting for her to start narrating the truth…Anika was looking calmly towards the hills, valleys and clouds…Shivaay grew impatient
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…I am eagerly waiting and I want to know the truth…don’t delay anymore and speak out..i just can’t …”
But before he could complete his sentence
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich do you remember that day when we got separated?”
Shivaay ”how can I forget….that was the worst ever day of my entire life..but why are you asking me”
Anika ”Well it all started the same day…..”
Shivaay looked on ……………………..
———————FLASHBACK 10 + YEARS BACK, DAY OF SEPARATION OF ANIKA & SHIVAAY
(Narration by Anika…so I, me refers to Anika ..in most cases ”YOU” will refer to Shivaay)
That day from morning I was very busy in finding out the truth about who was the culprit behind Oberoi Industries losses….i could find only the name of that Binami Company , but I couldn’t find the person….
I knew it will take some more time to find out, but I had to stop you all from losing further tenders and losses in other companies of yours, as they started hacking each and every system in your company…so I made a report and drafted the mail, but I didn’t want to send it without the exact details of person behind it….
By then Tia arrived and knocked my door, in hurry my fingers clicked the mouse button , and the cursor was on the send button..i was not aware of the same until , you had spoken it during the last day of quiz competition few months back…
Tia gave me the invitations and my world turned upside down….i came to your house but I was late by then…you were engaged and I was shattered….
You don’t know what state of mind I had during that day…one side I was worried about the OI and on the other side I was breaking into pieces with you moving forward with other girl/lady….
I had no idea what to do, how to handle…I went completely blank…. I was not in a position to do anything and I decided to go far away from you…I did that….when things settled a bit , I realised I owed a lot to your family for the love and affection they have shown on me….if not for you, I had to do something for them and what could have I done….i lost the chance of doing anything personally, i had only one way to do something for you professionally, so i decided to protect the OI from the losses….the task that I left incomplete…..
That’s when I sent another mail to Tej uncle and Shakthi uncle from an unknown id stating that, they needed to give the security project of Oberois to an external company to safeguard their future…with security I meant the data security not the physical security….i notified them that their systems were under constant scanner and can be hacked anytime creating huge losses for them…..
Tej uncle didn’t believe me and replied me asking who I was….i replied stating that I am friend of Anika, and it was she who has asked me to inform you……..and to keep the trust of them i messaged him as Anika, one last time from my mobile that it was me, Anika who sent the mail by her friend ….Tej uncle agreed only then, because of the trust he had on me…i never used that mobile number again…..
But then I got to know , that the security project of entire OI , you have decided to give it to the company I got offer from and where I joined first…..i knew why you did this….
You wanted to meet me….as you decided the company hired me for the same project…and I started working on your project…however I had a clause with the company that, I will not be a direct participant in any of the calls with you or your staff….the company had to oblige because it was financial benefit related issue….you used your power of being the client to come to the company whenever possible , but i took leave on the same days or opted for Work from home, there by not getting caught by you
I came on board and I started working from then on OI security projects…..on the other hand your search for me increased as you wanted to know about my whereabouts…..i knew every move of yours and I knew you will not leave even a single house of Mumbai if needed to find me out….
So again I sent a mail directly through the same id from where I sent to Tej uncle , but this time to you…suggesting you not to have long term contracts with any company because it was a sensitive issue and was about OI future….
You knew me as Anika’s friend , but you never knew it was me who was actually in conversation with you….I also knew you will not deny because I stated it was Anika’s advice ….you did the same as I expected….you gave the project to a Singapore based company….but with a clause of change in technology….
It was easy for me to know all this , because I was becoming a pro in hacking the computers….after seeing the repetitive cyber attacks, i somehow decided not to take a chance and be on your side protecting your company and in turn you….and my decision was fruitful…..
I applied for the job in the same company in Singapore where you gave the contract to….i got the job too….it was easy for me to get into the same project because of my previous experience working with your company…but this time I couldn’t put the clause …so I created this ID ”ORS_SA” to converse with you …I thought you would recognise me with the id…on the other hand I knew you would not notice it too ..Because you were busy with your works and this small thing can never be noticed….i learned the technology and then did the work….
This thing continued …every one or one and half year you used to give projects to different companies but with different technologies and I used to join the same companies and learn those technologies along with the local language……
I conversed with you through mails…but what you never noticed was the same id…I was before you….i spoke to your staff, I spoke to Tej uncle and Shakthi uncle, even you, but I never let you know that it was me…….
You could not recognise my voice then because I spoke in the local language with the same slang,hiding my identity of being Anika….and you had this translator with you to understand things that i spoke in the local language….
Amid all these projects there were multiple attacks from different places to steal your company’s valuable, and financial data….i did save it….
Because of you…I had to move on to different places and different cities , learn different technologies, different languages…..but I never left you ….your company’s every move was protected by different companies and different teams which included me and were mostly headed by me….
The last two projects you gave to a company’s in Belgium and I started my work there…..
I know I was not involved in your personal life anymore, but I couldn’t leave you in the professional life….i never tried to peep into your personal life, but I had my hand in your professional life….i can proudly say the security of OI was handled by even me along with many others all the time….and i headed the project almost everytime…….
In these last 15 days I found out the person who was behind all the data attacks in your company and I was aghast……. Sahil after coming from India meeting you , said that ‘‘you are still at the same place I left, only if I can understand his words” I started correlating the incidents…and that was when I knew and understood that you never were married ……because if you were married to her , she can never cheat you…..that’s the reason why , before coming here I sent you out the complete history with proofs of the cyber-attacks on your companies valuable data which could only destroy you…..and then read the news two days before that she had been arrested and there were the legal proceedings…..”
I never wanted to say about all this to you…today I said because you pointed me that I left you….i was always with you, I was doing my duty towards you and your family …I agree to the fact that I was never involved in personal matters, but still I never left you…I used to come home wherever I was and used to listen to your voice that I recorded when we were in meetings….i could never forget you…and when I heard your voice, every moment spent with you played before my eyes….
I knew with whom you were dealing with business…I knew your partnerships…I knew your deals….i knew everything about your business…because I was always in front of you in your office…your every computer/laptop you changed I was in that…..because if it was about you and your success I never can take a chance….
When Sahil came to OI , he verified the data…he applied same logic as I applied , data filtering…..he found out that you had dealt with those companies, where I already worked and then he filtered everything to find out the common link ORS_SA…he inversed it and found AS_SRO …Sahil has seen me wearing the pendent A&S…he observed that you wore SRO bracelet….he joined the dots and found out what I did …..that was the clue he wanted to send you after reaching Amsterdam…..because with that you will anyways backtrack and reach me through Chronos…..

Anika sat quiet as she took a pause…..Shivaay just looked at her still being calm and composed looking at the hills, clouds and valleys
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka….why did you all this? you always thought i played with your emotions…then you should have hated me and let yourself see see destroyed”
Anika looked at him with tears in her eyes
Anika ”it is true i thought that you played with my emotions….but over the hate or anger for you, i had one more strong emotion….and that was”
Shivaay ”and that was what Ms.Surpanaka?”
Anika ”and that was an unnamed emotion, which doesn’t hold any value” she wiped her lone tear
Shivaay moved towards her side and held her hand…he was searching for words to talk to her, and his throat was going dry…he couldn’t express his feelings at that point….
Anika put her other hand over his hands and said
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich i know how you are feeling and what you want to say….i still can read your unspoken words….”
Shivaay cleared his throat and spoke
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka…why did you cry so much earlier, when you were at no fault…why were you asking me for forgiveness when it should be me who should ask you ”
Anika ”you were never at fault…had i had control over my emotions that unfortunate day, our lives i am sure would have been much better….i wanted to believe you, but i couldn’t believe you that day…i thought you played with my emotions, but i forgot My Mr.Ritchie Rich can cheat himself but never can cheat his Ms.Surpanaka.…Sahil after coming let me know that ,after my leaving on that day, you were hospitalised and diagnosed with a heart problem….i was drowned in guilt of a life time…i should have looked back for once ..i should have tried to know what happened ..i should have come running to you and be with you…but i didn’t do that…i let you suffer drowning myself in my own tragedy….i can never forgive myself until you forgive me for this deed of mine….i have hurt everyone by going away without their fault….i acted selfish…” she broke down again……
Shivaay was also into tears…..he just pressed her hand and tried to pacify her……..she hugged him and cried…he rubbed her back…and said
Shivaay ”you did no mistake…trust me…you never did any mistake…if it was someone else, they would have left and let us fight with our own fate…..in fact your that mail changed my entire life…..it changed the lives of Oberois….and regarding my health condition….it had to happen , because when you left , you left my heart too and there an void had to get created..so instead of virtual void, a real void got created….a hole in heart…but now you returned and i am sure it will be filled gradually…”
Anika broke the hug and looked at him…she moved her hands towards his heart and kept her head there, slowly brought her lips and kissed there…Shivaay tightened the grip over her……she again looked at him….Shivaay reciprocated the looks …..both were urging to have a kiss….and both pulled back the urges…they smiled awkwardly composing themselves
Shivaay ”now what next?”
Anika ”don’t know”
Shivaay ”what have you decided?”
Anika ”about what?”
Shivaay ”your future..i mean will you stay here or will you go back ?”
Anika ”what do you want me to do?”
Shivaay ”you know my answer”
Anika ”but i want to listen it from you”
Shivaay ”when emotions are understood words are not necessary”
Anika ”but when emotions are misunderstood then words have to be brought out…i don’t want to misunderstand anything…i want you to tell me your decision… and you know once i denied to listen to you and saara raita fel gaya…. i faced enough , made you all face enough…not once again…so tell me what have you decided”
Shivaay ”you are serious this time? you want me to take your life decision?”
Anika ”now don’t irritate me…you know i meant the same”
Shivaay laughed…Anika looked at him confused…..
Anika ”Why the hell are you laughing? i am damn serious”
Shivaay ”sorry…but i can’t control my laugh now…there were days when you didn’t want me to interfere in your decisions and now you want me to take your decisions…you are really strange”
Anika was furious…..she got up…Shivaay looked on
Anika ”Fine…i understood what you wanted to say…you want me to go back na…i am going…i thought you would…you would…forget it…”
Anika turned back and took few steps……Shivaay held her hand from behind….Anika didn’t turn back…..Shivaay waited….
Anika ”now leave me…i am going ”
Shivaay ”ANIKA ….”
She stood still….she felt an unimaginable amount of happiness with the fact that he finally called her by her real name…she recollected her words said to Pinky ”Aunty ji the day he takes my real name , the day he calls me Anika, i will marry him”
Anika turned back and looked at him….he still holding her hand….she was trying to say something….but he spoke
Shivaay ”Anika….My Ms.Surpanaka….please don’t go anywhere leaving me….i want you to be by my side till i breathe my last”
Anika jerked his hand and took the few steps that were between them as fast as she can…and jumped on to him …he held her and they hugged tightly…her tears of happiness made his shoulders wet , while his smile lightened her pain…..
Anika got down and bent towards his ears and said ”i loved when you took my real name…i was so waiting to hear it and after 11 long years of wait , it fulfilled…thank you so much SHIVAAY”
Now it was turn of Shivaay to get the happiness that was due….he pulled her into his embrace and made his grip tight…
Shivaay ”You gave me the best gift of my lifetime…you called me finally by my name…i just can’t tell you how sweet it sounds, i have never heard my name to be pronounced so sweet by anyone ever before” he nuzzled near the nape of neck after letting her know his thoughts …
Anika was nervous, excited , blushed , and a current run her spine after many long years ….
Anika ”not yet Mr.Ritchie Rich, there is something else that needs to be completed….”
Shivaay ”what?”
Anika came in front of him, made him place his hands round her shoulder, she lifted her toes, cupping his face, placed her lips on his and kissed him …Shivaay couldn’t control himself anymore…he reciprocated the kiss and deepened it….. with tears rolling out of each other’s eyes, love they never expressed poured in, the separation jitters were getting wiped away, a new bond that would be formed was making it’s way..they had their first complete kiss ultimately…and they both were feeling eternal …..
They forgot the outer world for sometime and broke the kiss after they thought to take a pause
Anika blushed and Shivaay was amused seeing her blush
Shivaay ” i never knew if i took your real name you would have done this…how i wasted so many years”
Anika ”now don’t embarrass me…i wanted to complete this when i was with you…but i was scared as to how would you react”
Shivaay ”i would have reacted the same way as i did now…i think you should have tried”
Anika ”stop it Mr.Ritchie Rich..i am feeling shy”
Shivaay ”ahem ahem…the bold girl is turning shy…not bad”
Shivaay started tickling her…she was laughing asking him to stop…He didn’t stop…she ran…he ran behind her…he caught her and they fell rolling down on the grass……Shivaay was on top of Anika and both had deep eyelock…she pushed him and he fell beside her….he pulled her over him and locked her with his arms….Anika remained in the same position……
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka”
Anika ”hmm”
Shivaay ”i need to tell you what happened before and after you left”
Anika ”i don’t want to know”
Shivaay ”listen Ms.Surpanka”
Anika ”no..not in mood to know”
Shivaay ”Ms.Surpanaka there are legal proceedings going on you know that…so i will have to be in contact with her…and this time i don’t want to hide anything from you…i don’t want to repeat the same mistake i did when we were together….you asked me many times to share the matter…i thought i would handle….but when it was time to share ….”
Anika placed her hands on his lips, stopping him to say the separation words……he slowly removed her hands and looked at her…
Shivaay ”i really want to tell you everything…i am also having guilt of hiding the matter from you…so please listen to me”
Anika ”will you be happy if i listen”
Shivaay ”hmm…yes…infact very happy”
Anika ”Fine…i will listen…not because i don’t trust you…only because you will be very happy”
Shivaay kissed her and was about to say thanks when Anika said ”don’t even dare to say thank you…because i will get angry”
Shivaay ”ok fine…you know i can’t win over you in any argument”
Anika sat up and Shivaay rested his head on her lap, she was ruffling his hair, he closed his eyes and started to speak up
