Hi This is VHM back with a new FF on IB couple SHIVIKA….A slow yet Subtle love story……..
This is completely off track FF on Shivika and a college life and post college life of Shivika based FF…nothing to do with the track of IB….May be few of you can relate to this….you all know the characters and few characters will behave the same way as in real IB…few will be different……The Beginning would be slow and may bore you, but as i always say these beginning episodes will be crucial to form the further story……..
Please ignore the grammatical and spelling mistakes…….Hope the readers would support me the same way as they have supported me till date……based upon the response on this Teaser/Prologue, i will be uploading the next episodes……

Two weeks passed by much faster and Anika and Shivaay were at loggerheads, at every occasion be it solving the problems or answering the questions…these two were the only ones who used to take over the entire class…..
The internals happened and it was results time..everyone including the other students were equally as enthusiastic as Shivaay and Anika were….the HOD for the course came and put the name on the dashboard in the class as ”ANIKA”
Mamta, Madhuri, and Rajni hugged her in excitement while Shivaay was stunned….Anika looked at him and didn’t utter any word…later HOD was about to handover the Golden egg to Anika, when Anika requested him to take it from Shivaay…
HOD obliged and asked Shivaay to come forward and handover the golden egg to Anika… he had no other option , he did what he was asked to…..
Anika looked at him and for the first time she observed him too…his face was red with anger , his eyes had that pain of defeat may be for the first time, his lips went one side clearly showing he was miffed….
Her thought of taunting him subsided seeing his face, ”THANK YOU Mr.Ritchie Rich” Anika said rather calmly , this irritated Shivaay much more…..
He left from there in a huff not looking back or answering her and sat back in his seat….
Mamta, Rajni and Madhuri took the golden egg from her and were seeing it excitedly speaking something to each other , while Anika looked at him once again turning back…….
Anika TAM ”I donno why , but i am not feeling happy even though i won this…why? what may be the reason? i should be happy right?”
The day ended and Shivaay was very silent not being his usual self the whole day….he didn’t speak with Daksh, Sid , Tia or Mallika….and soon after the class he left without looking at anything or anyone….
Anika observed this and thought of not to get disturbed by all these and concentrate on her studies and career….she decided to not go to Library but she went thinking of not changing her everyday schedule……

Shivaay entered the OM and walked straight away without uttering a word to Dadi who called his name ……he closed the door and threw the things in anger……
”Shivaay Singh Oberoi has never lost and today she made me Lose…for the first time i got defeated that too, to that arrogant Surpanaka…this is not done just not done…….” he screamed
OmRu came after a while and knocked his room door…they both were Shivaay’s weakness and he can deny anything except his brothers…he set himself , took a long breathe and opened the door
OmRu looked at the state of Room and then at him who was hiding his looks from them
Om ”now tell me the truth ? what happened? and before that tell me your internal results”
Shivaay ”don’t ask about it….i don’t want to answer that”
Rudra ”ohh that means…Ms.Topper has won the challenge…i must accept she is really intelligent”
ShivOm ”shut up..Rudra”
Rudra ”what…shut up…am i wrong”
Shivaay ”no..you are not wrong…this is the truth…she topped it and I …I …” he couldn’t speak further
Rudra ”ohho…bhayya..this is just the first one bhayya….you still have many chances…and if you want , I can help you”
Om ”ho gaya tera Rudra…”
Rudra ”haan….yes”
Om ”then…Shut up Rudra”
Om turned towards Shivaay and said ”Shivaay Listen…somewhere down the line Rudra is correct …this is just the beginning….you have many more opportunities coming up your way, to prove yourself…i think you must relax and get ready for the upcoming ones…and by the way …your challenge is to win the Golden Eagle…not golden eggs”
Shivaay ”exactly Om…i wanted this challenge to be won by me…not because of that stupid arrogant Ms.Surpanaka…but for someother reason”
OmRu ”someother reason…what’s that”
Shivaay ”will tell you after i win it”
Rudra ”that means after”
Shivaay ”after 2 years”
Om ”fine…i know you will remember and let us know…so will not force you…all the best Shivaay…but for now …throw away your anger and for God sake don’t get hyper over that girl”
Shivaay smiled hugging his brothers….they bid gud night and went to sleep
———-SAHIL’s house
Anika came back home and went to Sahil to share the news with him…..
Anika ”Sahil….how are you now?”
Sahil ”how will i be Anika didi…i am bored staying in home..i miss my school…i am just waiting to go to school from tomorrow..i wish there are no more holidays to my school when you have no holidays in your college…it is horrible to spend time with bandari bua”
Anika ”sshhhh…Sahil…she is elder…so you shouldn’t speak so about her….by the way i have good news to share with you”
Sahil ”let me guess….you topped in the first internals…am i right?”
Anika ”how did you know?”
Sahil ”you are holding this golden egg in your hand …can’t i guess it…” he spoke upping his collar…
Anika hugged Sahil and was in thoughts
Sahil ”what are you thinking didi”
Anika ”no..nothing”
Sahil ”now tell me truth…don’t tell me you are thinking about that Ritchie Rich”
Anika ”yes Sahil…i am thinking about him…you know he challenged me, he lost his first one too ..but..i don’t know what i am not feeling happy with his defeat…”
Sahil ”Didi…may be that’s because he might have given you tough competition”
Anika was again in thoughts and spoke ”yeah…you may be right…he really gave a tough competition..guess what there was just 2 % difference in score…had he tried more hard he would have defeated me”
Sahil ”ohh my study mata…please can we change the topic now”
They both smiled and spent some good time sans Sundari bua……..
———-Days passed by and everything was going the same way between Anika and Shivaay, one day at College
All the students gathered and were discussing something serious…Anika arrived just then, Shivaay looked at her…….Anika too looked at him
Mamta, Rajni and Madhuri along with Shivaay ,Daksh, Tia, Sid ,Mallika and other classmates walked towards her
”Ms.Surpanaka i mean Ms. Anika.. i …i mean we all were discussing something very important and also have decided something, and i think we need your support too” a student from the same class said calmly
Anika looked at Mamta, Madhuri and Rajni confused and the looked at rest others, finally at Shivaay…she then turned towards the guy who spoke to her …
”one second..i don’t understand anything…what are you trying to say? did you all discuss or did you all decide..if you have just discussed i can and will listen to you…if you have decided then i have nothing to do” Anika made her point
”Ok Fine…we have just discussed…so can we now talk for a while before the class starts and if you can spare few minutes of your precious time” Mallika spoke the last line with sarcasm
”Sure…but can we please enter the class and speak…it looks very odd to be surrounded by so many people in the campus ground” Anika said
Everyone reached the classroom…
”So the point is none of us are satisfied with the way of teaching of our Managerial Economics professor, so we are thinking of going to our HOD to talk about this and to request him to change the professor…we need your support Ms.Topper in this” Raghav explained
”and may i know what is your action plan now…i mean how and what are you going to do” Anika questioned
”All the students will go together and speak to them…we want you also to come because if you stay back then we might get an answer that ”there is at least one person who don’t agree to this” …i hope you understand the fact that this is important for all of us” Raghav looked at her
”frankly speaking i don’t want to do this…so , i don’t think, i will be able to help you much…but if you all want to go ahead, you may” Anika replied after a brief time being in thoughts
This answer disheartened everyone including Mamta, Madhuri and Rajni…….Anika looked at her best friends, who didn’t utter a word…everyone stood at a corner of room discussing something while Anika, Mamta, Madhuri and Rajni settled at their seats……
Anika ”What happened…why have you all gone silent?”
Mamta ”what to speak..we never expected you to be so ….we all know , you are really very intelligent and can learn on your own but sometimes you must think about others too…what Raghav said is true…the professor is teaching everything wrong, we need a change and it will not be effective if you don’t come along…but you right away denied…now nothing can happen”
Before Anika could reply , Tia came to Anika
”You are such an arrogant, idiotic and selfish girl Anika…i thought you are intelligent and kind…but my opinion was wrong…you just think about yourself…what did you think, we cannot do anything without your support? don’t be so mistaken…the professor will be changed and this, we all except you will make it happen…you know what when Shivaay along with Daksh and Sid punctured your scooty, i asked them to apologise you…but now i regret saying those words…you should be even more troubled….and whatever they did that day was right…” Tia vented her anger
Anika stood up in shock with her words….
Shivaay came near Tia and said looking at Anika ”Tia…relax…there is no use speaking to her..because she is ” he took a pause
Anika ”because i am what? why did you stop Mr.Ritchie Rich? I was waiting for you to take the charge of taunting me …mmm…go ahead…i am waiting” She spoke
Shivaay ”forget it Ms.Surpanaka…because you are intelligent enough to understand who you are …and by the way, with your response everyone in this class, including your friends whom you spend most of the time with also understood what you are”
Anika looked at him leaving …he walked few steps and came back to her and said
”I think you need a clear introspection and retrospection about yourself…so think about what i said ” Shivaay finally started leaving to settle in his seat…..
Anika ”Mr.Ritchie Rich…just a minute”
Shivaay turned back
Anika ”Thanks…but no thanks….”
Shivaay ”what?”
Anika ”i don’t take anything for free…not even advices…so in return to your free advice …let me tell you something, one day you will be dealing with your whole large business and when dealing a problem in your business you will understand why i denied to support you today”
Shivaay ”what?”
Anika ”i know you are dumb..so i think you need to relax…now you may go” she showed her hand towards his way…Shivaay left from there giving a death glare….
Anika sat back and looked at her friends who were disappointed with her…she felt sad and held Mamta’s hand followed by Madhuri’s and Rajni’s
Anika ”Mamta, Rajni, Madhuri…..i know you have never expected me to say so….but my thinking is different…i am not trying to give any explanations but will you please listen to me once?”
She looked at them…They couldn’t deny her….
Anika ”he is a professor, a teacher and how can we just go and say” we don’t want him , please remove him the HOD director”…what will HOD think of us? let me say something which you might understand clearly….even i teach tutions, i am in a way a teacher, if some student of mine says I am not teaching good to their parents and in turn they come and say me i am not worth teaching…how i will feel only i can understand…it feels miserable…it feels you have failed in your entire life…it feels depressed….the same case will be with the professor….you cannot make him feel insulted…..”
Rajni ”Anika ..we are not insulting him, we are just striving to get good education, which is our right…where from insulting him came?”
Anika ”Fine i agree …getting good education is right..i also agree all your intentions are good…let me say you something….imagine you are owner of some industry…there is a problem that arised between supervisor and workers….so all the workers decide to come to you (The owner) and speak to remove the supervisor…. remember they don’t come to you in a proper way , they just rush into your cabin…tell me how you will feel…and before that to whom will you listen first…which worker would you choose to listen first…if you chose one worker, the other worker would think you are giving importance to other worker and this will be the same case with every worker…what will you do then..tell me?”
All three were silent
Anika ”shall i tell…you will feel that what sort of behaviour is this…why couldn’t only one or two members come and meet you…then you will think that seeing the behaviour of workers , fault might be with workers not the supervisor…tell me am i right or wrong?”
Madhuri ”yes…if i was there i would have thought so”
Anika ”exactly…in our case if we all go together, the HOD will also think the same..in my example…workers are we , students…Supervisor is our professor whom we have problem with and HOD is the owner of the company…..this is why i denied …….the way which you all are chosing is more rebellious…and it would have never worked ….we are studying professional course and going forward many of us would be in a professional jobs, so there is a way to tackle everything and the way everyone of you chose is highly unprofessional..now tell me do you still feel i was wrong ?”
Mamta , Madhuri and Rajini sighed saying ”yeah we got your point..okay fine…we are sorry..we shouldn’t have said so”
Anika ”thanks besties…”
———————— A week later, classroom , University Campus
Everyone were waiting for the Managerial Economics professor to arrive, the classhour was about to start and then entered a new professor, to the shock of every student….
Along with new professor, HOD too entered….
HOD “Students, meet your new Managerial Economics professor Mr.Sharad…we came to know about his flaws few days before so had to take certain actions, and as you all are aware our college doesn’t play with their students career…i hope Mr.Sharad lives upto your expectations as much as you all would live up to your and our expectations …” he turned towards Mr.Sharad and spoke ” All the best Mr.Sharad, class is all yours” saying that HOD left….
Everyone left…..Anika turned back and looked towards Shivaay, Shivaay reciprocated the looks…Anika turned towards the board and gave no expressions…..
After the class got over Tia again came back to Anika ”See…i told you na, we will get the professor changed and it happened in a week…unnecessarily everyone were giving importance to you..seriously we were foolish to think that you will make a strong impact, if you come along with us….but that’s not the case…and you know what, i thought of being a friend to you…but now i had made my such thought rest in peace…we can never ever be friends, only because YOU ARE FULL OF SELFISHNESS ” Tia completed taunting……
Anika listened and gave a smile, which didn’t go unnoticed by Shivaay….
Shivaay TAM ”She looks good while smiling…” a smile formed on his lips unknowingly ”She is different…very different…the point where she should reply she keeps quiet and for unnecessary and silly things she fights back…why am i even thinking about her…she is really irritating not different”
Tia looked at Shivaay who was still looking at Anika ……

AUTHOR’S NOTE : I know many of you wouldn’t have liked this episode as it was rather serious, but believe me, i don’t write anything without a reason…also i know this story is slow paced , but i don’t want to rush to anything..this is a college life based story…the friendship and further romance cannot be rushed between Shivaay and Anika so early, particularly when they are not at good terms…the coming up episodes will form the bridge to fill the gap between them…last but not the least…please do keep trust on me , this is my request …i will try my level best not to disappoint you…….
