Maya’s cabin,
Rudra knocks on the door and he opens slightly the door . Rudra (confidently) – “ May I come in Madam?” Mays turns her head towards Rudra and smiles. Maya ( pleasant tone) – “ Rudra ! Please come in”. Rudra happily gets in. Maya looks him happily. Maya – “ Rudra , please take your seat”. Rudra sit down happily .
Maya lean towards and speak- “ Iam really sorry for whatever I said. I should have atleast asked for your explanation . My mistake. Please forgive me , Rudra “. Rudra – “ Its Okay. Sometime it happens. I haven’t took them into my mind, Ma’am. It’s just a silly thing”. He start to laugh..
It was his dream while he was standing near the door waiting for her permission. Maya gets irritated seeing him laughing near the door. Maya – “ What are you doing there, you buffoon!” Rudra realizes that it was his dream. He looks around and he gets panicked. Rudra – “ Come Can I in… Oho !! May I … come?” Maya allows him. Rudra comes in and stands . Maya ( serious tone) – “ See Rudra, for now Iam not dismissing you from the job. But don’t repeat this mistake “. She gets into work. Rudra wonders on her words and ask her – “ But I did you any mistake… “. Maya gets up in anger and points index finger towards him and say – “ Yes, it is your fault. You should take care of important documents that you have . Security of the confidential documents in hands is your responsibility. If you can’t do , such people shouldn’t work here. You should store company’s highly confidential documents as hardcopy in the office locker .. that’s the way it should be done. You can’t trust this network computers..”. Rudra feels disappointed. Rudra – “ No one told me about this”. Maya gets more irritated and shouts – “ What is the need of that? Can’t you use your common sense? You will if you have right? All this useless come here , correctly!!!…,”
Rajeev is hearing her shouting from outside the cabin. Rajeev nods his head thinking about pathetic condition of Rudra who is hearing all this taunts inside the cabin. He laughs remembering Rudra’s expectations before. He sees him the glass pane of Maya’s cabin. Rudra is standing keep his head bowed down hearing her scolding.
Maya – “ Why are you fools coming here then? For making some money? .. You won’t be getting another chance .. got it?” Rudra nods. Maya – “ Now go and get back to your work..”. Rudra tried to talk – “ Ma’am Actually..” Maya gets irritated and says – “ Just get out , now “. Rudra gets afraid by her anger and he moves back and hits chair . He slips over the chair but he escapes from a fall by holding chair. Maya gets irritated and keep a hand over her head . Rudra – “ Iam Okay. Thank you”.
Rudra comes out of the Maya’s cabin. He is extremely upset. Everyone is looking at him. Rajeev is standing near Ananya’s desk. Rajeev grins. Rudra walks off.
Rajeev goes to Men’s washroom. He gets to hear Rudra’s voice from one of the toilets. Rudra is getting his anger over Maya by scolding her . Rajeev smiles hearing his scolding. After a while , Rudra comes out. Rajeev looks him and Rudra stands there with sad face. Rajeev- “ So did you got it?” Rudra – “ What?” Rajeev- “ Promotion”. Rudra turns his face. Rajeev- “ Didn’t I told you that she won’t melt so fast?” Rudra – “ She doesn’t know me.. I will !!”.
Rudra gets angry and just clinch his fist . Rudra – “ Since I don’t use abusive words .. Iam not saying more than this . It’s my fate, Iam in need of this job otherwise I would talked her in another way! Bhagwan, just give me one chance to pay her back .. won’t you give me just one chance?” Rajeev looks him .
After few days..
Inside the office, MD’s cabin.
MD is sitting in his cabin.
Yogendra Batra- a middle aged man , dressed in formals. He is checking some file. Maya enters the cabin. Maya – “ Good morning, Sir. May I come in?”. Yogendra – “ Good morning, Maya . Please come in“. Maya – “ Why did you call me , Sir?”. Yogendra smiles and says – “ Please take your seat”.
Maya gets seated. Yogendra takes out a paper and says – “ Sorry Maya, your application for extension of visa got rejected”. He gives her the papers . Maya gets shocked and checks the paper. Maya – “ But .. this is ridiculous. I have every right to get my visa extended”. Yogendra- “ You are right, But what can we do? These are rules. Because of terrorism, government has made the immigration rules strict. I talked to the officials too. You can stay in India only for 45days .. They are saying that Maya should go back to Australia and reapply for this from there”. Maya – “ If I go back and does this , how much time will take ?” Yogendra – “ They are not telling about it clearly.. maybe 3months or 6months or 1 year”. Maya gets upset .
Yogendra- “ Please don’t worry, Maya. We like to have you here , so if we could anything we would have done that. But what to do , we have to obey the rules , right?” Maya is sitting worriedly.
Then Rudra knocks on the door. Rudra – “ Excuse me , Sir”. Yogendra and Maya turns and looks on. Yogendra – “ No, not now we are in a meeting “. Rudra – “ Sir, But it’s urgent”. He comes in and stands near the door. Rudra – “ Nesle HR, Ankita Sharma is on line”. Maya (in low tone) – “ But Not now”. Rudra – “ But She is saying that she need to talk to you right now”.
Maya thinks for a while and she looks at him with a smile. Rudra finds it weird. Maya then looks at Yogendra and Rudra . She gets up as if she got some idea. Maya looks at Yogendra and say – “ Sir, one second”. She gets up immediately and goes towards Rudra. She goes close to Rudra and looks at him. She touches his head with her head. Maya says (low volume) – “ Hey listen, if you don’t want to lose your. You have to help now , got it?”. Rudra feels strange and says – “ Who is this ? I can’t see properly as your standing too close to my eyes. My eyes will get damaged. Please say whatever by standing little away”. Maya steps back little away. Rudra blinks his eyes and say – “ It’s you Ma’am? What is the matter?” Maya – “ See , Whatever I say now you have to support in that ?” Rudra – “ But Why?” Maya gets irritated by his questions. Maya – “ Oho!! Don’t ask me silly questions now, if don’t support me here I will get you out of the job. Understood?”. Rudra – “ Really?” Maya – “Yes”.
Rudra is still doesn’t understand anything.
Maya (soft tone) – “ Come!” Rudra looks her .
She holds his hand and takes him near to the Yogendra. She keeps a fake smile while Rudra is still confused. Yogendra looks at them with curiosity. Maya – “ Sorry Sir, We hid something from everyone “. Maya pulls his hand little and say looking at Rudra – “ Now we can reveal it right?” Rudra ( in a confused tone) – “ Yeah .. yEs”. Maya- “ Its time to disclose”. Yogendra – “ Tell me, What is the matter?” Maya – “ We are in love”. Yogendra gets surprised and Rudra gets wondered upon her statement . Rudra (with a fake smile)- “ Haa .. Yeah”. Maya – “ We are going to get married very soon!” Rudra looks at her with shock. Yogendra (suspicion) – “ But there is no happiness over his face”. Rudra smiles and say – “ Happiness will come only after marriage , because.. what if someone tries to create rifts between us tear us apart. That’s it”. Yogendra- “ Yeah , Yeah . That’s a point too”. Maya pats on Rudra’s hand and say – “ Yes, absolutely right!”. Yogendra says to her – “ But Maya, He is your assistant “.
Maya – “ He is educated , hardworking and good looking”. Rudra agreed to her with a smiles. Yogendra- “ Yeah , But he is just 3 months old here “. Maya interrupts and says – “ No Sir, it’s 3 and half months now !” Rudra says – “ Yes, Yes .. 3 and a half month”. Yogendra- “ But in a short time? ”. Maya takes her hands from his hand and hold her hands together and acts like being shy. Rudra looks on. Maya – “ Sir, love happens anywhere , anytime. Love isn’t caged by time . It just happened so fast”. Rudra adds to it – “ Yeah.. Yeah .. everything happened so fast .. even we didn’t realize.. it was like love at first sight.. and after circumstances supported it “. Maya ( in excited tone) – “ Yes.. circumstances and situations brought us close. He is my assistant and this interaction between 24 hours .. “. Yogendra interrupts her and ask – “ 24 hours?” Maya covers up her mistake – “ Yeah almost, like we were working together day and night. Some late night shifts.. you know na , Sir? We were working so close that our hearts became inseparable “. Rudra – “ Yes situations was like that.. afterall we are humans .. it happened “. Maya and Rudra nods with smile. Yogendra smiles being shy and says – “ Yeah.. I understand . So you are getting married.. “. Maya and Rudra nods ‘yes’. Yogendra- “ Maya, in that case I think you are immigrantion problem is solved“. Maya ( surprised tone) – “ Oho ! That’s great !” Yogendra- “ Then it’s fine. Don’t worry. So don’t make it late, make it legal”. Maya holds Rudra’s hands and says – “ Sure Sir!” Yogendra- “ Lucky man! All the best, guys”. Maya and Rudra (with a smile) – “ Thank you , Sir “. They leaves the cabin together. Yogendra smiles.
Maya leaves his hand goes to her cabin and she pretends as if anything happened.
Rudra gets confused over her behavior. He follows her to her cabin.
Maya gets back to her work and looks into it. Rudra looks her . Rudra is completely clueless. She notices him looking her and ask – “ What?” Rudra – “ What is this Ma’am? Iam not understanding , what is happening?” Maya just reply him cool manner – “ It’s simple , We are getting married”. Rudra gets shocked . His eyes gets widenened and he opens his mouth in shock. Rudra – “ Ma.. rried? Sorry I can’t marry you”. She gets surprised by his straight away refusal. Maya – “ Do you want this job?” Rudra – “ Yes”. Maya – “ Then you have to marry me”. Rudra – “ Ma’am , Why are making me do this drama?” Maya – “ Rudra, you sit down “. Rudra – “ Iam feeling really tensed , Iam not in a mood to sit down and relax”. Maya – “ Okay fine. Yes this is a drama, it’s matter that would affect my promotion “. Rudra – “ Ma’am , a marriage is crucial thing.. what if someone gets to know about this?” Maya – “ Who will get to know about this? We will go and register it officially . After 2 or 3 months we will file for divorce. That’s the end of it. No one will get to know anything ”. Maya gets back to reading the file. Rudra – “ But Iam a virgin!” Maya gets angry and she gets up. Maya shouts – “ How shameless ? Get our you idiot “. He gets scared and leaves the cabin.
Rudra thinks – “I can’t tolerate her as my boss how will I tolerate her as my wife? But not real wife .. fake wife .. that’s the only relief. Oho my god! What a mess! What sin I have committed to have some much of mess in my life?”.
