Her head felt heavy, devils hammered behind her eyeballs and inside her head. With great difficulty, Soumya opened her eyes and blinked in the bright light of the room. She felt too hot AND heavy for her own self so, tried getting up and strech but found a weight attached to her stomach. She was horrified to see a bare arm holding her and even more shocked to find herself naked. She turned slowly to see the person next to her and gasped in shock and horror- Rudra. The memories of the night before hit her, in a haze, but she remembered kissing him, his warm touch, how she had felt to be with him;a part of him. A second later, guilt and despair clung on to her. She tried hard to stop the tears but they began falling down her face. She had a little memory of the night before and she was afraid she had sympathy s*x. It pained her to think she had begged for it and Rudra had compiled to her request, without any interest. Rudra woke up from his comfortable sleep and was extremely shocked to see Soumya crying. “Soumya, Soumya, why are you crying? What happened?” his voice plainly stating his panic. “Rudra, I’m sorry.

I shouldn’t have forced it. I’m sorry”. Realization hit Rudra and he began to smile. Perplexed by his behavior, she stared, speechless. “Soumya, do you think I regret being with you last night? You thought YOU forced me” he leaned forward and took her palms in his “Soumya, I don’t regret anything that happened last night. In fact, it was the most beautiful feeling; it was my best night ever. And you need to believe me”. Soumya looked at him to see if he was lying but only found the most convincing truth in his eyes.She tried to swing her legs down but winced.“You all right?” Rudra said at once, concerned at once.Soumya blushed “A bit sore”she said haltingly.“It happens”he said,reassuring “Take a warm shower, it helps”he told as he helped her get down the bed,sheet wrapped around her, and put her near the bathroom door. “Go, get a shower.It will feel better.”He kissed her sweetly but lingeringly on her forehead and went to put on his clothes.Soumya let the sheet pool near her feet and looked at herself in the full-lenth mirror inside the bathroom,marks on her body but smiled and slid in the warm shower she had prepared for herself.

In the early hours of morning, Priyanka headed back home, smiling to herself.Sunlight fluttered from among the clouds,indicating the approaching dawn.She sneaked as fast as she could to her room and in seconds,she was asleep, dreaming and smiling.
