Chapter-16(a)

You came at last,Ru. I’m sooooo happyy.” Rudra smiled though he didn’t miss the slurr in her voice. “What are you doing, angel?” “Watching the stars” came the prompt response. “Why?” “I’m missing bhaiya. You know Rudra, Papa walked out on us when I was six breaking their fifteen years old marriage; bhaiya was fourteen. Bhaiya managed me, helped me with homework, talked to me, played. Aai had a weary dislike for me so Bhaiya was my world. He joined the Navy when he was twenty two and came back shrouded in tricolour; a dispute in border waters with some senseless smugglers snatched my brother from me…..my world. Aai cried relentlessly but hugged me for the first time in these ten years. Little by little, we bonded and got connected by the sorrow of our world.” Soumya paused and gulped some more beer. Rudra, in his own intoxication by the alcohol he had at the party and her presence, slid slowly next to her, putting his arms around her. She made a clumsy effort to wipe her tears but the one who felt more pain by them, wiped them. She sniffled audibly, before she continued.

“Sure Aai became the part of my life but the void left by Samar bhaiya is irreplaceable. He was my everything. Aai feared I’d join the Army, so she sent me here to study. Frankly, I wouldn’t consider doing so; I’m just too fat.”

“No, you’re not. You’re beautiful. You’re the prettiest girl I have ever laid my eyes upon. You’re the best.”

“Am I?” She looked at him for assurance. “Yes, you are” his voice sounded same as the former’s – husky, slurry, disbalanced. He gulped looking at the pretty face, so near his own, the deep chocolate- colored eyes; droopy and dreamy, the flared nose; trying to gulp in some more air, the half- parted lips, the tiny throat, gulping.

As if in a trance, he bent down and captured her shivering lips in a deep, warm kiss, which lasted just a few moments. He tried to get up, trying to leave with the little bit of sanity left in him but he felt his resolve crumpling as he stared into her eyes, freezing him with the enchanting light in them. Slowly, she reached towards him and kissed him, slowly and passionately. Their foreheads touched, as they emerged out of it, breathlessly. With infinite slowness, their gaze met ; the time stopped. He towered over her, bending her back against the pillows, the mattress and the covers. Her hand reached up to grab his shirt. “Soumya, arre youu shurree?” his voice slurred, almost losing his control as he felt undefinable pleasure shoot through his veins at the mere touch of her. “Yes” she whispered breathily, her eyes assuring.

Nothing made sense any more; nothing mattered. The bodice peeled; fell across the room. Bashfully yet shamelessly, their bodies met; the souls enterwinded in the utmost pleasure of mind numbing love; their bodies melted into one. Pain and pleasure battled, breaths hitched simultaneously, bodies tensed and relaxed while their heartbeat ran a marathon. Several minutes later, they fell back against the pillows, breathless and tired. Soumya slept at once while Rudra kept watching her for some time. A while later, he pulled on the quilt over themselves and drifted off into sleep, hugging her to her chest.

Hi everyone. I’m back again with a new chapter. I hope you all will like this. I’m very happy for the reaction so far and l’d really appreciate if you keep supporting me as always. This is the first time I’ve written such an intimate scene so please give your response very honestly. Love to all of you and to each one of my silent readers. Take care.

Thank You, Everyone.
