Thapki Pyaar Ki 10th June 2016 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
The Episode starts with everyone doing puja arrangements. Vasundara feels guilty and recalls Shraddha’s words. Suman asks Dadi to do this ritual with Dhruv and Shraddha. Dadi says I won’t go this, I m elder, but who did elder’s duty and kept this family united, just she can do this work, Vasundara, you have forgotten yourself and worked hard for this family with selflessness and sacrifice, there can be no one more true than you, so you do this work. Shraddha says its good if Vasundara is praised, her guilt will increase. Vasundara says I will see if Shraddha is ready.
Vasundara goes to Shraddha and asks are you ready. Shraddha says I was thinking all that, leave it, we won’t talk that. Vasundara asks her about the burn marks on her hand. Shraddha says I have punished myself. Vasundara asks for what. Shraddha says for hiding your truth from everyone, I m feeling like becoming part of this lie, I feel like a coward, I promised you that I will not say this truth. She says but I can repent, there are two ways, to accept crime infront of everyone or punish own self, that’s why I punished myself. Vasundara asks her not to punish herself, you are making me feel a culprit, don’t do this again. Shraddha hugs her and says sorry, I had no such intention, I m not able to stay with this guilt. Vasundara asks her to come downstairs, and goes. Vasundara recalls Shraddha’s words and cries.
Vasundara says I did one mistake and I will not do any other mistake now, I will tell truth to everyone, this will be my repentance and punishment. Sanjay and Ashwin fix the loud speakers, and fix it outside on Bau ji’s saying. Shraddha thinks to see did Vasundara go to Dhruv or not, she will tell everything to Dhruv first. She slips by the wires. Thapki holds her and asks are you fine. Bihaan looks on. Shraddha says I m fine. Thapki asks about Vasundara. Shraddha says I don’t know where is she. She goes. Bihaan goes to Thapki and smiles. He acts to slip and waits for her to hold him. He falls down and sees Thapki lost. He gives his hand and she does not see him. He gets up and holds her, saying Ghazab, you save everyone in the world, do you have enmity with me, you saved Shraddha, and did not even see me when I fell. She says I was thinking about Maa, I found her worried. Bihaan asks her not to worry. Sanjay and Ashwin call Bihaan. He goes.
Dhruv talks on phone. Vasundara goes to tell him everything. Dhruv says you explained me so well yesterday, I realized I m your son and can fulfill all responsibilities, I took a off from office today, maybe because I want to be with Shraddha and to be born baby, you are world’s best mom. She says no, good is not happening because of me, but… Thapki comes and stops Vasundara.
Thapki asks Dhruv to come, all guests will be coming now, and Maa has to see arrangements. She takes Vasundara and leaves. She asks Vasundara what was she going to say. Vasundara says I was going to tell Dhruv, all this is making me feel guilty. Thapki says I understand, but Dhruv moved on in his life with Shraddha after forgetting everything, if you tell anything, he will recall everything, this won’t be good for him, Shraddha and coming baby, you know Dhruv and Shraddha’s puja is special. Vasundara says how can I stand infront of Lord, I did big sin, let me tell him, lets this end, I don’t want anything else. Thapki says fine, tell everything to Lord, there can’t be any repentance than accepting sins infront of Lord, you will feel light, come with me. She takes Vasundara. Shraddha hears them and says Thapki always fails my plans, Dhruv will never know, what to do. She gets an idea and smiles. She says now Lord will say Vasundara’s doings to everyone.
Shraddha goes to the in house temple and switches the mic on. She goes. Thapki gets Vasundara there and asks her to come. She asks Vasundara to see, Lord is with them, now you can tell your heart out to Lord. Sanjay and Ashwin fix speakers outside, where everyone is present. Vasundara cries and tells Lord that she did big sin. Everyone hear Vasundara. Vasundara tells that everyone thought Bihaan broke Dhruv and Thapki’s marriage, it’s a lie, the truth is its was not Bihaan’s mistake, I have made Bihaan helpless to stop Dhruv and Thapki’s marriage, and made him cheat Thapki and marry her. The family gets shocked hearing this truth.
Precap:
Bau ji asks Vasundara to leave the house. Bihaan asks Thapki to get Maa back. Thapki cries and promises to get Vasundara’s right back.

I think bihaan was the one who suffered most from the incident…he was engulfed with guilt, his family members were taunting him, his dear bauji wanted to shoot him down…thapki and dhruv got sympathy and the support of the other people…but bihaan…he was all alone their was no one to understand how he felt…how hurt he was…all people could do was mock him, ridicule him, slap him and scold him. even his life got destroyed by her hyperbolic blackmailing, she didn’t acknowledge that…oh god all she could do is dhruv dhruv and dhruv…ab beth ke dhruv ke naam ki bhajan karo…who to tumhe tumhari ek galti k liye dhkke maar ke nikaal ne waala hain.

Dhruv has one of the worst fates as compared to anyone else on the show. He is in this situation due to no fault of his and there is nothing he can do to get out of it without hurting someone.
On top of it, he has 3 women in in his life and all three cheated him in someway-
Shraddha – pretending to be pregrnant
Vasu – removed Thapki from his life
Thapki – did not tell him Vasu’s truth.
Thapki has also cheated him another, more subtle way. She moved on with Bihaan. At some level Dhruv is stuck where he is because Thapki told him many times that she could not love anyone else. She did tell him to move on but also told in the same sentence that she could not move on by declaring that she could love anymore or there was no place for love in her life. How could he move on in any real sense when he knew someone was sitting around with a broken heart for him?
I feel really bad for him but this sympathy will not last if he tries to get too close to Thapki. All this truth drama is finally going to give the real kick to move forward in life, which is a good thing!

Sadly I am losing my interest on Indian soaps , so rapidly , as it seems not just Thapki, but the story of , almost all of Indian soaps has written by the writers , who,are suffering from an contagious disease of; KILLING ANNOYING DRAGGING , CONTRADICTIONS, AND ON BASE OF NEED OF STORY , EVEN GET THE CHARACTERS, THE NEW JOB, AND PROFESSIONS THAT NEEDS YEARS OF STUDY AND EXPERIENCES , LIKE , THAPKI’S LAW DEGREE, AND BECOMING A LAWYER, SO THAT, SHE DEFEATED , THE OTHER SIDE’S LAWYER, WHO WAS PRACTICING YEARS AND YEARS AND HIS RECORD WAS PRESENTING , HIS WINS IN 99% OF CASES…………………….
WHEN THE KASAM CAME ON TV I WAS OVER THE MOON AND AS HAPPY AS A CHILD ON XMAS MORNING. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL, INNOCENT AND TENDER LOVE STORY BETWEEN TWO VERY ADORABLE ACTOR (RISHI) AND ACTRESS (TANU), I FOUND RISHI AS THE MOST POLISHED , NATURAL AND SWEET INDIAN ACTOR AND TANUE AS AN AWFULLY BEAUTIFUL ACTRESS , WHO LOOKS LIKE HOLLYWOOD’S MULTIPLE OSCAR WINNER LATE INGRID BERGMAN ( when she was young) , BUT , THE ENDLESS DRAGGING AND MAKING THE CHARACTER OF TANU SO NAIVE , WITH NO CONFIDENT AND DIGNITY AND A BRAIN EVEN TICKER THAN BRAIN OF A DONKEY , THAT, KILLED ALL THOSE LOVE AND EXCITEMENTS AND MADE ME REALLY SAD.
NOW I HAVE A QUESTION ; WHY INDIANS’S FIRST OFFERING TO THEIR GUST IS A GLASS OF WATER, AS SIGN OF WELCOMING AND HOSPITALITY? I APPRECIATE THE WEATHER IS VERY HOT THERE, AND WATER IS HUGELY VITAL , BUT THERE ARE TIMES THAT WE DON’T NEED DRINK WATER, AND BEING IN POSITION OF, AS A GUST , HAVE TO DRINK , THE OFFERED WATER , PUT US IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION.

Thapki j is ryt. Is just an act of hospitality. N like u said… even im assumin there was some positive story to its origin.. like all other traditions tht we often blindly follow evdn wen it gets outdated?. Heres my theory… much of india has a tropical/ sub tropical climate… and bak in the historical days , to visit sum1 ppl wud hav had to travel a long distance by horses or bullock carts in our hot humid weathr n i wud imagine tht being offered somethin to eat and drink at the end of it wud probably be a heart warming gesture. Theres a sankrit sayin thts now popularisd by our tourism industry “aditi devo bhava”… which translates as guest is like God. Even though its not taken very literally…our tradition pays a lot of importanz to hospitality to our guests and makin them feel at home is of atmost importance (though life today may b more westernised). So offerin them somethn to eat /drink is one such gesture coz the guest may nt feel comfy askin u for somethn even if they wantd to. The usual dialogue is “wud u like to hav some chai-pani” chai referin to hot beverages such as tea/coffee n pani..though means water literally…refers to cold ones: juices…shakes..cooldrinks etc. N ofcourse they can refuse… perhaps the host may try persuadin a lil thinkin u r refusin so as nt to troubl them…bt onz they knw u mean it…they won’t force u. Personally i mak sure i offer somethn to ppl hu come for some household work…Carpenters etc…coz often they r very poor n they work xtra hrs to earn a livin… plus the weathr js hot n they usually travel by two wheelrs. Who knws…they may hv skippd a meal too…its alwys gud to b mindful of othr ppls unspoken feelings.n often traditions r a way to mak ppl do sumthn like tht even though they may nt realis the deeper intentions behind it.
So yeh.. like thapki alredy xpplaind…. its just an act of hospitality and u can refuse as u like. N u knw wat… sometyms u may actually luk fwd to it coz there r some women hu r really passionate abt cukin n they wud hav made some yummy pies/pastries/milk shakes or sumthn tht wud linger ovr ur taste buds for yrs….? n im nt kiddin.. i speak frm personal experience….. i ws stayin in north kerala for a short period…n the muslim ladies there r quite popular fr their passion fr cukin.its sorta a hobby ( unlike me… if i hav to cuk…its to survive ????). I stil thnk abt some of the snacks(exotic fruit pies…. tender coconut shakes…) i ate frm a family frens house there. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm…. i hope the tradition lives strong??????

Hi Roshni, I saw this a glass of water offering over and over in Bndini and Uttaran……. In Bandini we can say the people are extremely traditional and some of them even from villages , but characters like Tapasya or Itctcha are presenting the modern Indian women ,
That is my reason to say or even scream over and over…..to your greedy, irresponsible, and selfish writers , producers and directors, don’t just think of fatter pocket as you are presenting your country and nation to the world , by the films and soaps you are crating and showing to the other than Indian , who are not familiar with ; what is new, and what is old and out of used in your dear country, what they see, would be the base of their judgments, hope these selfish and just in love with the money , in which they are not exclusive to your country, but more or less can be seen everywhere in world , wish to realize their big responsibilities and obligations to their country and people. Hey.im nt familiar with the shows u mentiond. Hmm. Yeh… i agree with fatarajo. Not al serials r bad… bt i guess u dont get access to much of them there. The shows tht ur watchin arent designd for foreign audience i guess. N from the tpk script… i reckon thse ppl arent very intelligent. Most of the scientific stuff (shwn to mak thapki seem smart) r absolutely ridiculous. Im myslf in a field of science n i find them intolerable. Most of the tym i dont evn watch the episodes..

The serial is going from ridiculous to sublime. Just look at the episode aired on the 10th June 2016. The mother decides to confess her wrong doing. She is stopped by Thapki, who tells her that confessing would not serve any real purpose, but suggested that she should confess to God instead to relieve the burden of her wrong doing. Shraddha, hears this and plots to make sure that her mother-in law’s confession is heard by all, so she sneaks over to the prayer meeting area and switches on the microphone. Now comes the part that is totally unbelievable, the mother-in -law confess out loud, who in their right mind would do such a thing, after all God can read your thoughts, also the rest of the family were within earshot of the prayer meeting area, hence they would have heard even without the microphone being switched on. Also, with regard to Shraddha pregnancy, surely she would need to attend pre-natal and also a scan on how well the baby is developing. The whole serial is fast turning into a story of fantasy.
