Chapter-28
Check and mate
Shivaay stormed into the harshvardhan’s cabin only to see him making out with an employee of the company.
“What the wuck!!” Shivaay exclaimed seeing the scene infront of him.
Hearing this harshvardhan leaved the girl and straightened his shirt while the girl was just looking down out of embarrassment.
“What the hell is happening here?” Shivaay asked seething in anger.
“This is not what it is looking like sir, I will explain you.” Said harshvardhan in an attempt to cover his mistake.
“Oh! Yeah! Tell me, explain me what is happening here.” Shivaay asked.
“Sir, this girl had seduced me to get the promotion. I just got carried away.” He said blaming the girl.
Hearing this, the girl who is already in tears looked at him and then broke out into sobs but hadn’t said anything. Shivaay understood that there is something else and asked the girl, “Is it true?”
“I can’t tell you anything sir, I am helpless.” The girl said sobbing while harshvardhan felt relieved.
Shivaay went towards the girl and offered her the glass of water saying, “Relax!! Tell me why you did this. I am here, no one will do anything to you. It’s SSO’s promise.” Glaring at harshvardhan.
The girl took the water and drank it and said to Shivaay, “Sir, he is lying. He has an obscene video of me in his phone, he blackmailed me to do this.” And broke into sobs again.
Shivaay glared at harshvardhan who was about to say something but got stopped seeing Shivaay’s glare. He asked for his phone, which he gave without any drama as he knew now he couldn’t do anything.
The girl was right, he made an obscene video of her he looked at harshavardhan with disgust and deleted the video and said to the girl, “You don’t need to worry now. The video has been deleted, you take an off today and go to home.” Shivaay said consoling the girl. She expressed her gratitude and went from there.
“Sir, I am sorry. I won’t do this again, please forgive me.” Harsh said to Shivaay pleading after the girl left fearing the SSO’s anger.
“Leave this Mr. Rana. Just give me the files of Columbia’s project. Can you?” Shivaay asked surprising him.
“Ofcourse sir, just a minute.” He said and opened the draw where he kept the files but to his surprise files were not there. He desperately searched for the files but he couldn’t find them.
“Sir, Just give me few minutes. I’ll find them and give you.” He pleaded Shivaay.
“Stop this drama Mr. Rana. I know that you have given the files to the peon to destroy them as you have manipulated the deal’s papers by bribing him.” Shivaay said seething in anger.
Hearing this harsh got shocked and thought, ‘I did manipulated the contract papers but how did they went to the peon’s hands and then SSO’s? I haven’t given him, then how did this happened?’
“Don’t think of any excuses now Mr. Rana. Your game is over now. You are fired!!” Shivaay yelled at him.
“Sir, Please listen to me once.” He tried to tell something, but Shivaay cut him yelling, “Just get out of my office, or else security will force you out.”
Harshvardhan left from there defeated as he doesn’t have any way to defend himself. Once he came out of the office he loosened his tie and ran the hand in his hairs in frustration. He doesn’t know what just happened with him and how or why it happened to him. He used to think himself as a master player but someone had put him over check mate and he doesn’t even got an hint about it!!
He walked to his car dejectedly and drove it out trying to think how did all this happened in a blink of an eye.
Ishanya got the call from someone saying that her plan got succeed. Harshavardhan was right it all happened in a blink of eye, at the blink of Ishanya it all happened.
The peon with yadav’s instructions stolen the files from harsh’s cabin and then when he signaled him to come to the wash room to take a con**m from him he executed the plan which was made by Ishanya. He had kept the files in washroom beforehand and took him out with him after meeting harshvardhan so that in cctv camera, it looked like harsh had given the files and money to the peon and as expected Shivaay reacted immediately and he got to know his womanizer ways too and fired him.
Ishanya smiled at the success of her plan, she wants to call and talk to harsh like he did and asked her to come to his guest house if she doesn’t want her MMS to be aired again, but she can’t take that risk now. That time Shivaay helped her or else he would have done that. And now too Shivaay helped her by firing him out. Now she’ll take the another step against him, sending him to jail. She doesn’t have to do much for this. Rathode had already instructed ACP Kulkarni about everything. All she has do is just sit and watch the show.
Next day it was all over the news that Harshvardhan had been fired from the Oberoi Industries because of code of misconduct and fraudulence. ACP kulkarni had started his work and anytime the news about his arrest will be aired. Harvardhan doesn’t have got time to recover from one blow, then another came on to him and he will get many blows one by one. All the wrong deeds he did till now will be out one by one and make him pay for it.
Ishanya was so happy that she couldn’t express and that is why she took a day off and went to orphanage to distribute sweets among them for her secret victory.
Ishanya was in orphanage spending time with kids when she got Omkara’s call. She received the call and talked to him cheerfully.
“Hey, Omkara. How are you?” She asked.
“What’s the matter you sound very happy right now?” He asked without answering her question.
“Because I am happy.” She replied smiling.
“And the reason?” He asked.
“I love spending time with kids. That is the reason of my happiness today.” She said
“Spending time with kids? Has any relative came to your place?” He asked.
“No, I don’t have any relatives who comes to my place.” She said sounding upset for a second and then said, “I am in orphanage spending time with the kids here.” Again becoming cheerful.
“Oh! Which Orphanage? Can I join you too?” He asked hoping her to say yes.
“Ofcourse, you can. I am in Mamta Orphanage.” She replied making him happy.
“I’ll be there in half an hour.” He said and finished the call smiling.
Omkara knew he is getting attracted to her and being dragged to her but he is loving all these feelings, even though he is quite insecure about getting hurt. ‘There is some magic in her which makes him forget his pains and just makes him get lost in her away from the whole world.’ He thought.
He wants to cherish the time spending with her even if it ends up hurting him. He is completely smitten by her and he knew it and doesn’t have any problem with it, he just cherishes his feelings. He is slowly getting rid of his insecurity due to his past in the thoughts of Ishanya.
In Oberoi Industries Shivaay is with elder obros discussing about the recent happenings in the company.
“How did he manipulate those contract papers? Why hadn’t we got to know about it?” Tej asked seething in anger.
“We need to be more careful from now onwards” Said Shivaay.
“It’s our fortune that it came out before the construction of the factory. Now we just have to bear the compensation for canceling the deal which is far more better than the loses which might have happened on the completion of deal.” Shakti pointed out the positive things to make them feel better.
“Correct, and we can easily recover the compensation loss from the deal with Hindustani. We had gone through all the clauses of the deal by ourselves and I think we should sign it as soon as possible before our market value gets down because of this incident. It is a very profitable deal to us.” Tej said to them.
“Yes, bhaiyya. We should thank our stars for making Ishanya consider us for this deal.” Shakthi said and Shivaay smiled broadly at his comment.
After discussing everything they left for their cabins. Shivaay called Ishanya to thank her after reaching his cabin.
“Hi Shivaay. How did you called me at this time?” She asked cheerfully.
“Why, is there a fixed time to call my friend?” He said making her smile.
“Not like that, You would be in office right now busy in your meetings and deals. That’s why I was asking you, isn’t there any deal to crack right now?” She asked joking with him.
“Yes, it’s there but I took some time out to thank my friend, can’t I do that?” He too joked with her.
“AHA! What your friend did which made you take out time specially to thank her?” She asked in the playful tone.
“The deal of ‘Menbou’.” He said
“That was purely business. Why should you thank me for that?” She asked frowning.
“It had saved us from facing huge loses.” He replied.
“So, what’s there in it?” She asked non chalantly.
Before Shivaay can reply, she said, “See Shivaay as I said the deal was pure business if it helped you in anyway you shouldn’t give the credit to me, take it as your luck or just coincidence. I don’t take credit for the things I hadn’t done. So, keep your thanks with you only, bye.”
“Ok, Madam. Your wish is my command.” Shivaay said making both of them laugh.
“Bye.” He said and finished the call still smiling at her simplicity.
