Chapter-25
Her revenge plan
“So, your still in the acquaintance mode, O? You should have asked me, I have given you tips na?” Rudra said earning a glare from Omkara.
“Why are you glaring him? Answer me, why haven’t you become friends with her yet?” Shivaay asked shocking Omkara.
“What do you mean?” Omkara asked Shivaay.
“I mean, why haven’t you asked her out? Why are you saying, ‘just acquaintance’, why not friend?” Shivaay asked.
“Because she is…..she is……..” Omkara stammered as he doesn’t know what to say.
“Is she committed to someone?” Rudra asked surprising ShivOm.
“Is it?” Shivaay asked
“God!! You two please stop! I don’t know her enough to become friends that’s it!” He said, and continued when Rudra was about to open his mouth, “No more talking about this topic now. No questions. Just do our work.” He said with finality in his voice and none of the ShivOm had said anything after it as they have seen the seriousness in Omkara.
When they got back to cooking, Omkara thought, “what should I tell you guys, that the girl has been rejecting my advances to her everytime? Or that I failed to make herself believe in me as she sees me as an outsider and don’t open up to me at all! But tomorrow I will make her answer my questions for sure. I won’t let her play with my feelings again.” He said to himself with determination.
Ishanya was in her room sitting on the window sill, writing her diary.
“aaj mein ne Omkara se maafi manga, who mujhe maaf toh kar diya par uski awaj mein who friendliness nahi thi. Aur mujhe iss baat ka dukh ho raha hai, najaane kyun? Mein ne hi usse kaha ki hum kuch nahi hai. Humare beech kuch nahi hai, hum dosti bhi nahi hai. Phir kyun mujhe iss baat ka bura lag raha hai? Mein ne Srikanth ke baat maan kar sahi toh kiya na? Omkara ke friend ban na teek toh hoga, na? I am very confused. I like spending time with him but I don’t want to give any wrong impressions to him. I need to be careful and limit myself to just being friends with him and have to let him know my limits from the beginning.”
She closed her dairy and kept that in the drawer. She took a file from the files which yadav gave her. She studied the file while sitting on the bed. She got shocked when she went through the contents of the file.
“Oh! MY GOD!! This Harshvardhan!! He is still the jerk. But this is amazing. I have to let Shivaay and Mr. Tej oberoi know about this. Then, they themselves will smash him. But how? I need to find a way to let this file reach oberois’ without making my name come out. I can’t send the whole file this as it would raise more suspicions. I have to do something by which oberoi’s themselves get to know about this.” She thought and called yadav to instruct him something.
“Yadhav, you have to buy a peon of Oberoi industries and I am messaging the details of the work he has to do for me. But careful, I don’t want my name involved in this.” She said to him and finished the call.
She looked still in thought after messaging the details. She was thinking about Shivaay. ‘Oberoi industries has to suffer because of this but it’s their luck that they are getting a chance to rectify it. I have to help Shivaay in this without his knowledge.’ She thought to herself. “I’ll help out oberois, but who will come to help you out Mr. Harshvardhan Rana? Your defeat is absolute.” She said to herself and smirked.
Ishanya took a deep breath before entering the Oberoi industries main office. She entered the building with her assistant Saahil and Svetlana with her assistant came to welcome her.
“Welcome Ms. Srinivas.” Svetlana said with smile.
“I prefer Ishanya Ms. Kapoor.” Ishanya said while returning the professional smile.
“Ok, Ms. Ishanya. Let’s go to Mr. Oberoi’s cabin.” She said and they entered the lift.
Once they came out of lift they went to Mr.Oberoi’s cabin which was empty.
“Please be seated Ms. Ishanya. Mr. Oberoi is in a conference, he’ll be here in any minute.” Svetlana said while Ishanya just nodded and sat there.
“What would you like to have?” she asked after Ishanya sat.
“Green tea.” She replied and Svetlana looked at saahil and asked, “you?” “coffee” He replied. And she signed her assistant to bring her the tea and she sat opposite Ishanya, beside Mr. oberoi’s chair which is meant to Shakti oberoi. Ishanya raised an eyebrow at this but hadn’t said anything.
Mr.Oberoi entered his cabin with his brother and seeing them both Svetlana and Ishanya stood up.
“Hi, Ms. Srinivas. I am sorry for keeping you wait.” Mr.Oberoi said shaking his hand with Ishanya.
“It’s ok. Mr. Oberoi and please call me Ishanya.” She said and shook hands with shakti oberoi
They all got seated while Svetlana stood beside Mr. Oberoi. The peon came with the tray of coffees and teas.
“Please.” Said shakti oberoi to Ishanya pointing to the cups. Ishanya took her cup of green tea while the elder O’bros took coffee.
After exchanging pleasantries and some casual business talks they came to the point of the meeting.
“We are eager to know the reason of meeting. Will you please tell us.” Shakti oberoi said to Ishanya.
“I want to talk to you about a deal which you obviously know, but you have seen my working style too as I keep the deal under wraps before the right time arises to announce. So, I need some privacy here. If you don’t mind can you please let Ms. Kapoor leave?” Ishanya asked directly in a tone that elder o’bros couldn’t deny it and tej signed Svetlana to leave while she stomped before leaving announcing her displeasure, to which Ishanya and shakti rolled their eyes while tej just looked at the table.
After she left tej asked Ishanya, “Now, tell me what is the deal you are going to talk about? Remember we are oberois and we don’t involve in small deals.” He said with haughtiness.
“You do know about ‘Schinichi Saito’, right?” She asked
“Ofcourse, Beniko group of companies’ Chairman. One of the top 3 Industries in Japan.” Shakthi said.
“Beniko and Hidustani had been together in the past and now we are merging again for a project ‘Menbou’. For that we need a merger from spinning Industry too, I heard that you are planning to open one of your spinning mills in Columbia. So….” She said and tried to make them guess.
Hearing this both shakthi and Tej got very surprised. This deal is really very huge Beniko is the most reputed and one of the top companies of Asia not only Japan, while Oberoi’s stand in bottom 5 in the top 10 Industries of Asia, Beniko stands in Top 5 and merger with them will be very beneficial for their company’s international market value.
“So, you want to merge with oberoi’s for this?” Tej asked.
“Yes, Mr. Oberoi. But, only if you open the mill in Tokyo.” She said looking straight into their face.
“But we had planned everything in Columbia. Now, if we withdraw we’ll face loss.” Said Tej.
“Now that’s up to you, Mr. Oberoi. What do you want just another factory or a merger with the top most company of Asia. You need to take the final call.” Said Ishanya.
“But what’s the guarantee that we’ll merge up after opening a factory in Tokyo?” Tej asked.
“We can sign the contract even before the opening.” Ishanya replied.
“We did try to deal with Mr. Saito before but couldn’t get the deal. Will he accept this merger?” Shakti asked.
“I am the MD of ‘Menbou’ so, I have the right to decide. He will agree.” Said Ishanya making them happy.
“But the Columbia’s project……” Shakti started to say but was cut in the middle by Ishanya.
“As I said, it’s up to you. You need to make the final call.” She repeated her words and stood up to leave.
“It’s nice meeting you Mr. Oberoi.” She said shaking hands with both of them.
“I expect an answer from you in the next 10 days. Please keep it under wraps till we announce it officially.” She said and left from there.
While she was walking in the corridor saw a cabin’s name plate and read it out loud, “Harshavardhan Rana, Chief legal advisor.’ And smirked at it and started walking ahead.
She received a message from Omkara as she left the Oberoi Industries. She opened the message, it read “Is the lunch plan still on or the Madam’s mood had changed? Tell me now only as I don’t want to wait there….”
Ishanya smiled at his sarcasm and messaged, “Yes, it is still on. Even if my mood changes I won’t leave you, Mr. Artist. :)”
