Tere Sheher Mein Short Fan Fiction

Hello everyone ? I am new here and have always been a silent reader of this wonderful site. I regularly watch Tere Sheher Mein and am a die hard fan of Manya ? But sadly, due to circumstances, our favourite couple got separated onscreen and I’m really missing them a lot. That is why I decided to just recall and watch the old Manya scenes and enjoy admiring their magical moment. I just happened to see the episode where Amaya finally realises her love for Mantu and I couldn’t hold myself from penning the scene down. ? So here’s my take on where Amaya realises her feeling for Mantu ? I do hope you guys like it ?

“You have to be diplomatic when answering the questions.”

Amaya took a good look at the words that were now staring back at her from her little phone screen.

“I have to be diplomatic…” she slowly whispered to herself.

Her eyebrows furrowed down.

“Matlab…I can’t be straightforward!”

She raised her eyebrow as a look of puzzlement and confusion settled across her face.

She stared back at her phone screen again, playing the words through her mind.

‘Diplomatic. Diplomatic. Diplomatic.’

A small sigh escaped from her lips.

How was she ever going to get past her interview successfully when she was feeling this confused and nervous?!

“Mahadev! Please help me na!” She cried in exasperation as she placed her papers down on the bed.

She paused.

“Mahadev?”

She bit her lip.

“When did I start saying Mahadev?! Argh!”

Her fingertips immediately plunged into her temples as she shut her eyes.

“Mantu…please go away from my thoughts. Please!”

She inhaled and exhaled deeply.

“Amaya Mathur…you need to focus! This is going to be an important interview. So focus Amaya focus!”

She murmured to herself before gently closing her eyelids in a feeble attempt to get her thoughts together.

The very moment her eyes closed…

She did the exact opposite of what she had wanted to do.

Her thoughts gave in to her heart’s deepest desire and her mind opened up paving a way for her imagination to flow through.

She opened her windows, tilted her chin skywards and gently closed her eyes.

A cool gush of wind blew across her face, carressing her cheeks like tender soft hands.

The smell of fresh air and the blissful touch of the breeze.

She smiled taking it all in.

Opening her eyes, she slowly set her gaze on the luminous pool of colours strewn across the night sky.

“Ah…hmmm” she hummed smiling up at the sky, allowing herself to get lost in it’s radiating beauty…

“Amaya…”

A soft tap on her shoulder. She immediately spun around just in time to face the pair of eyes that were looking into hers with so much intensity.

A warm pool of black liquid that swirled with the droplets of a myriad sparkles. That’s what those eyes were: Simply mystical.

They were observing her, watching her every move as she slowly focused her own brown pair into the sea of emerald black.

One look into the eyes.

Her heart felt a sense of warmness that engulfed it in joy.

“Mantu?…”

She whispered as a gentle smile crept onto her face.

With a twinkle in his eyes, he beamed down at her.

“I think you’re in love with me Amaya.”

Amaya’s smile faltered as her eyes widened in disbelief.

“What?!”

She cried letting out a silent gasp.

“No no! That’s not…tr…true!”

She stuttered, shaking her head defensively.

His smile only deepened further to her response.

“Ah I see…Then why is it so difficult for you to get me out of your mind?”

He proded her, taking a step closer to her.

She lowered her gaze and bit her lip.

“Its…its nothing like that…”

She whispered slowly, refusing to meet his gaze.

Mantu chuckled. A soft boyish chuckle.

He inched another step closer.

“Is that so Amaya Mathur? Well then…if you don’t feel for me at all and your heartbeat doesn’t raise whenever you think of me…say it…say that you don’t love me Amaya…say it.”

He said, provoking her heart’s feelings again.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath in. Her heart was thumping against her chest and her palms were filled with sweat.

“No.”

She spoke in a silent whisper. It was either now or never.

She opened her eyes and lifted her chin to meet his gaze.

“That’s not true…I do love you. Pyaar karti hoon mein tumse.”

She said as she looked into his beautiful face.

“I really do love you Mantu. This is what you wanted to hear right?”

His smile widened as he slowly nodded his head.

Tears of happiness welled up in her eyes as she smiled back at him.

She had finally opened up. To Mantu, to herself. She was really in love with him.

She hugged him tight.

“I love you Mantu.”

***End of dream sequence***

Amaya opened her eyes as a small smile crept onto her face.

A feeling of esctacy and a sense of relief engulfed her heart.

“There…I said it.”

She whispered gently.

“I can’t deny it anymore. Vasudha ji was right. You are more than a friend to me.”

She closed her eyes listening to her heart’s flutter. She smiled.

“I love you Mantu. I really do.”
