In a heartbreaking development, television actress Dolly Sohi has passed away, accompanied by the demise of her sister Amandeep Sohi. Amandeep lost her battle with jaundice last night, while Dolly succumbed to cervical cancer just hours later.
Expressing their profound shock and sorrow, Dolly Sohi’s family revealed to ETimes that she departed for her heavenly abode early this morning. The family further shared that the final rites would be conducted in the afternoon.
Following Amandeep Sohi’s demise, her brother issued a statement to Etimes, confirming her death due to jaundice. He mentioned the family’s inability to seek further details from the doctors given their state of distress. Amandeep, known for her role in “Jhanak,” was also undergoing treatment in the hospital prior to her passing.
Dolly Sohi had to discontinue her role in “Jhanak” due to health complications, including breathing issues, which led to her hospitalization. Although she exhibited signs of improvement post-treatment, she eventually had to withdraw from the show as she underwent chemotherapy.
