Hi Everyone,
I know I am too late. I am really sorry about it. I was not in proper health. So had to take a long break from ff and TU. Happy to be back. In fact, I was thinking I should stop writing ff as you all would have moved on with new ffs. You all probably have forgotten me. So I was about to leave this ff like that… By then I got a message from Ritzi saying missing my ff. I got fully charged and decided to continue it. Thank you Ritzi for that message. It meant a lot. Hope everyone is remembering me…

Evening
Manohar and Kunj are ready to go to party and are waiting for Usha and Twinkle. Usha and Twinkle comes.

Twinkle is wearing a black choli and pink lehanga with black floral prints at the bottom of her lehanga. With pink net dupatta and matching accessories, she looked gorgeous. Kunj can’t take his eyes off from her. He is staring her and he completely forgot that Manohar and Usha are also there.
Usha: Chale…
Kunj: Kya Ma…
Usha: Kahan khoya hua hai? Chalna nai hai?
Kunj (trying to cover up): Kahin nahi Maa… Kuch office ke issues ke bare me soch reha tha. Kafi din ho gaye na office se aake… Bus wahi… (Was thinking of office issues. Nothing else.)

Taneja’s house
Everyone is enjoying party and so is Twinkle. Kunj seems to be a bit disturbed due to Cherry. Cherry is continuosly following Twinkle making some or the other reason. Leela, Usha and Manohar are also in support of Cherry. They are encouraging him stating “Ja beta, Twinkle ko company de…”
Kunj: Baki sab mar gaye hai… Ek lauta Cherry beta hi to hai Twinkle ko company dene ke liye…
Kunj is hell frustrated because he is unable to stop Cherry. Twinkle has already warned Kunj stating she doesn’t need his help.
Usha and Leela force Twinkle to enjoy the party and ask her to dance with Cherry.
Twinkle: No aunty, I am fine. I don’t like dancing.
Leela: You should enjoy the party… This is your age to enjoy. Go ahead beta…
Twinkle: Aunty, I am fine.
Cherry and Usha also forces her and she is left with no other choice. Twinkle looks at Kunj. Kunj till that time was looking at her but now looks somewhereelse.
Kunj (murmurs): Muje body guard ki zaroorat nahi bol rehi ti na… Ab bhukto… Muje kya hai. Muje koi farak nahi padta tum kisi ke bhi saath dance kero… (You don’t need a body guard, right. Now enjoy his company. I am fine. I don’t have any issue, if you dance with him.)
Twinkle and Cherry are dancing. Usha and Leela are watching them and commenting them as a perfect couple. Kunj tries to ignore them, but he can’t. Kunj leaves from there and goes to elder people group.
Manohar, RT and some more elder people are enjoying their drink and chitchatting. RT uncle as usual after few drinks has started his Kishore kumar songs. I must say he sings very well. Kunj was listening to his songs, but still looking at Twinkle and Cherry dancing. RT uncle is now singing his masterpiece.

Kunj felt as if RT was singing this for him reading his mind.
Kunj thinks. “RT uncle has sung this song several times at parties but I never felt this much connected to this song. Each and every word of the song is damn true. To see Twinkle dance with someone else is piercing my heart.”
Everyone has finished their dinner and they are getting into some more other talks.
Twinkle: Excuse me Leela Aunty. I need to go now. I have a morning shift. So I can’t stay till late night.
Leela: Thank you Twinkle for coming. I will ask Cherry to drop you.
Twinkle: It is fine aunty. I am used to this city now. I will hire a cab. Don’t bother.
Leela: No, it is our responsibility to drop you home safe. Cherry has bike. So he will.
Kunj is listening to all this and is sure that Manohar, Usha and Leela will make her leave with Cherry. He can’t even think of Twinkle sitting behind Cherry in his bike. Kunj interrupts.
Kunj: Maa, I am feeling sleepy. So I was thinking of going home. I will go with her. Let Cherry enjoy party.
Twinkle seems relaxed now. Everyone is convinced and they let Kunj and Twinkle leave.

Twinkle and Kunj reaches home. They didn’t talk to each other while travelling. Twinkle directly leaves to her room. Kunj also goes behind her. Twinkle is trying to call Usha. Kunj grabs her mobile.
Twinkle: What’s your problem, Kunj? Let me inform aunty that we have reached safely.
Kunj: You are asking me what the issue is. What was going on there in party? Can’t you see everyone was trying to make you connect with Cherry.
Twinkle: So what?
Kunj: Ohh… Then you should have stayed as PG in Taneja’s house.
Twinkle: Don’t be silly, Kunj…
Kunj: You are staying in my home. You take care of Papa’s health as if he is your father. You make Mom relaxed in every manner. They also consider you as their daughter. Yuvi calls you bhabhi. What else is left? My name? That’s what you want. That’s the only thing left out, I guess.
Twinkle’s phone starts ringing. Kunj keeps the phone in speaker.
“Hello, Mrs. Twinkle Kunj Sarna, I wanted to remind you about the appointment of Mr. Manohar Sarna.”
Twinkle grabs the phone and leaves from there talking to phone.
Kunj is stunned and thinks. “My name is also taken. And she says she is not here for me.”
Kunj smiles and whispers. “Nai manegi ye ladki”
