Palak Sidhwani who is currently seen as Sonu in the popular daily soap Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was seen on stage yesterday to as she graduated from Jai Hind college after completing her graduation. She now holds a graduation degree of BBA along with a specialization in advertising.
Last evening when the graduates were collecting their certificates from the college dean, Palak walked up to the stage with a big smile on the face. The reason was the mention of her work in television industry by the her HOD Dr S Varalakshmi, himself. They praised her for her work on TV and with honor gave her the hard earned graduation degree.
Talking to a leading entertainment portal, Palak said,”Vara ma’am was one of the first to know that I had been chosen to play Sonu. She has been aware how much I wanted to become an actor. She texted me back with a voice message. She was thrilled.”
