Sudden surge in TRPs are seen when someone as popular as Disha Vakan makes a return to the show. Since always Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has always managed to keep itself in the top 5 shows fetching the most TRPs. But since the time Disha Vakani aka Dayaben made her brief return on the show, it has not just climbed a rank or two, it has thrown the chart off it’s top.
The second rank as expected is taken by none other than Kundali Bhagya which had a gripping storyline a great viewership. These two are followed closely by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Kaun Banega Croreparti on the third and fourth spot respectively.
The thundering entry to the top this time is made by singing reality show Indian Idol 11. Choti Sardarni slipped from position 3 to 6 and Kumkum Bhagya from 2 to 7. The Kapil Sharma Show was on no. 8 and has really managed to carve a niche for itself. Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka and Shakti -Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki grabbed the last two spots on the list of top 10 shows on Indian telly.
