Saudamini tells Niyati that she isn’t Prithvi Khanna’s daughter. Niyati doesn’t believe them.
There, Prithvi tells the family that Niyati is Pratab’s daughter, his brother Pratab. Dadi was saddened at the news.
Saudamini tells Niyati that she is Prithvi’s young brother, Pratab Khanna’s daughter. Her real mother is Sunaina and she and Kanchan are real twin sisters. Niyati denies their claim and says these stories are only to detract her attention. Saudamini tells Niyati that Prithvi Khanna betrayed them all, he robbed his own brother of his property, his respect and then of his life. Prithvi Khanna threw them out of the house when her mother expected them sisters. Niyati didn’t believe in Saudamini. Saudamini asks if that’s the case, why Prithvi never told her that she wasn’t
Sumati asks Prithvi if he is taking name of Pratab in the house, that Pratab whose name is prohibited in the house. Pratab, who betrayed him in business. She hates Pratab who forgot the respect of his brother and his sister in law while being drunk. She recalls he had come to her room while being badly drunk, clutched her hair while she was pregnant and pushed her over the table. She asks Prithvi he gave a name to Pratab’s daughter though he tried to kill their unborn child. Prithvi says he had kept Niyati’s recognition a secret, and told her Niyati was illegitimate. He bear her hatred for years only to protect that child. He wanted her to get a family, a house and a mother as well. He expected each day that Sumati would forgive him, and accept Niyati as a daughter. That’s the truth of her sweet daughter.
Niyati thinks why Prithvi never told Sumati about her reality and bear all the hatred of Sumati. Saudamini tells Niyati that on the lands where Jalsa has been constructed, Pratab had a share as well. He committed suicide on the same land and took a promise from her to destroy Khanna family through Tantra. She had started her Tantra when Sunaina received the labor pains. She ran to tell Sunaina about Pratab’s death but she had already reached the hospital. The doctor recognized her as the wife of Prithvi Khanna’s brother. Prithvi came over and asked the doctor why they didn’t call Pratab. The doctor says Pratab couldn’t be contacted, Pratab’s wife is in labor with twins and there is excessive bleeding. The doctor tells Prithvi that there were twin daughters. One of the child needs to be shifted to ICU but they have no facility here. Prithvi recommends shifting the child to another hospital where his wife is also admitted. Saudamini says when she reached the hospital there was a fire in the hospital and saved Sunaina and Kanchan. Niyati questions where was she at that time? Kanchan says they thought the other twin had died in the fire, they later came to know that Prithvi had taken her.
There, Prithvi tells Sumati that when he dropped Niyati in ICU and reached her, he came to know there was a fire in City Hospital, Sunaina and the other child had died. He reached Sumati who was crying as their daughter was born dead. Sumati hugged Prithvi blaming Pratab for killing their child. She wasn’t even ready to hear the name of Sunaina or any other person related to him. Prithvi had decided he must hide from Sumati that Niyati is Pratab’s daughter.
