Taarak Mehta actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal records statement against Producer Asit Kumarr Modi
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal who is known for her role as Mrs. Roshan Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had accused Producer Asit Kumarr Modi, Project head Sohil Ramani and Jatin Bajaj of s*xual harassment at the workplace.
The actress talked about it in an interview with ETimes TV and shared that she was also mentally harassed on the sets.
During a recent interview, the actress was asked about the progress of her case. Jennifer revealed that she is back in Mumbai from her hometown and shared that she was recently called by Powai Police to record her statement, “I have come back to Mumbai and I was called by the Powai police. I went to Powai police station yesterday and recorded my statement. I reached there around 12 PM and left from there at 6:15 PM. I’ve given my entire statement to them. I was there for 6 hours. Now, the law will take its course.”
She further added, “I’ve been told that they will let me know if there is anything that needs to be done and if I again need to go. For now, I’ve recorded my statement.”
After Jennifer made a shocking revelation about the working conditions on the sets, Monika Bhadoriya and Priya Ahuja Rajda also opened up about their ordeals. Both the actress supported Jennifer’s accusations of mental harassment on the sets, being disrespected and also called TMKOC sets a male chauvinistic place. However, neither of them commented on the s*xual harassment angle.
