Nalini goes near Sajeeri. Suddenly Sajeeri rise up from bed
Nalini : Sajeeri beta you are suffering from fever. Take rest .
Sajeeri : But Maa Shivam ji has said I should not be in bed when he arrives at evening.
Nalini : Beta Shaam hone mein abhi waqt hein. There is no need to bother about it.

Sajeeri : Ji Maa…Aap nahin aati toh mein kisi orphanage mein rehti …..Meri maa ke guzarne ke baad ek aap hi thi jihnone mujhe samjha aur aapne toh aapke bete se meri shaadi bhi karwayi.
Nalini : Beta Devyani is my childhood friend and how can I leave her daughter alone ?
Sajeeri : But Maa Shivam ji ….Will he ever love me ?

Shivam brings a stand at his room.
Shivam : Will you stare me only ? Help me in arranging this .
Sajeeri : Okay
They both arranges things together and Shivam puts his shirts in the stand .
Shivam : Is this okay now ? You can use that space in my cupboard to keep your sarees .
Sajeeri smiles and looks him without saying anything.
Shivam : Sajeeri !! Sajeeri !! Are you listening me ? Is this convenient to you ?
Sajeeri was almost lost in Shivam and she was staring him without saying anything.
Suddenly Shivam pulls her two sided hair strands

Sajeeri : Shivam Ji aap kuch keh rahe the …

Sajeeri walks away without saying anything.
Shivam : Where is my tab ? Uske bina mein kaise schedules rakhunga meetings ki ? Pura ka pura kamra hi alag lag raha hein.
Sajeeri handovers tablet to Shivam
Sajeeri : It was kept at the table only. I cleaned the room and may be that’s why ….
Shivam ; There is no need to do that . I don’t like if things are misplaced. Do you understand ? By the way I am sorry

Recalling the sweet and sour memories Sajeeri smiled ….She was now feeling better . So she went to kitchen

The reparing work of outhouse was going on at the morning and without knowing it Shivam went there and his leg slipped and he fell down at muddy area.

As soon as Shivam and Sajeeri entered inside together Nalini and Vikram locks the bathroom from outside.

Nalini : Beta ..I know you…You will leave bahu alone and go away….And we don’t want that.
Shivam opens the knob of the shower and both Sajeeri and Shivam gets wet under the shower

The title which is the English translation of the show’s title was beautiful. I liked the caring side of shivam when he forcefully made sajeeri have the bitter medicine.nalini telling sajeeri that if we do work without stress the work will be perfect was a good advise.i liked nalini assuring that shivam will love her. Shocking that shivam married sajeeri for his mom because sajeeri became alone after she lost her mother..sad that shivam told sajeeri not to keep any hope.shivam always scolding sajeeri was sad.but still he giving her space to keep clothes shows his soft side.shivam telling sajeeri that his mom is making food only to meet her taste so she should tell her to make his favourite dish also was funny.shivam taking care of sajeeri when her hand got burnt was nice.sajeeri misinterpreting shivam’s words that by evening she should be out of bed and purposefully coming out of the bed and doing work reminded me of gopi bahu.surprising that sajeeri is too innocent.mud scene and shower scene were cute and romantic. Recently I happened to see the thumbnail of an old movie named punarjanmam which casts nazir and jayabharati.since you have seen old movies I am asking you..have you watched it?
Yeah. I have watched it. But I was not very comfortable in watching some scenes of it because it had some vulgarity. It’s about a married couple where husband is having problem in physical intimacy and movie goes like that. I didn’t watched the climax.

No it was not targeting the concept of dusky and fair skin. Basically Sajeeri doesn’t had any makeup before marriage. She is from village and she is very sweet and innocent. Post her baba’s demise Nalini becomes more close to Sajeeri’s mother and story goes twists and turns with Sanchi’s entry.
I saw promos but I find least interest on it. Basically from the time of Saat Phere of Zee tv, Laagi tujhse lagan of Colors all I have seen the lead heroine is been humiliated before everyone and mostly it’s very toxic and personally I don’t like the way when people are discriminated like these. There was one exceptional show in Star plus some years back it’s name was Khoobsurat which portrayed things as very subtle and realistic. There was not so much toxic scenes in it and it was a good show. But rest were too much dramatic. I saw one episode of Dil ko tumse pyaar hua where the hero’s mother slaps the lead heroine and insults her for her skin color and makes her as a servant which was horrible to watch. After that I never watched it . These type of things should not be encouraged in my personal view.
Actually I have not seen dil ko tumse.i gave seen only the promos which showed the leads.the lead couple has good chemistry.
Which actors are in khubsoorat?
I heard that meetha khatta was the remake of the marathi version of suhani si ladki which was about a dusky girl.
Did sajeeri start using make up after marriage?
I never felt Meetha khatta as remake. They just take the idea only but executed it as very fresh. Here though Shivam had issues with Sajeeri he never humiliated her and the moment he started to understand her he supported her very much . His bhabhi and Dadi had issues with Sajeeri because Sajeeri sort out differences between Shivam and Vikram. Since Shivam didn’t went on family business instead of it he became Chef and opened cooking lab. Vikram used to blame Nalini for this. But Sajeeri was the person who made to understand Vikram that how Shivam has become successful in his professional field. The differences between dad and son solved which was not in original story. Sajeeri’s appearance got changed post marriage as Nalini insisted her to do so. But it doesn’t made any change in her basic qualities which I loved very much. Though Shivam had anger when their relationship started growing he really appologized from heart and always tried to make Sajeeri as comfortable. Bhabhi of Shivam mocked Sajeeri for her skin color but it was not highlighted as very toxic but Shivam interrupted it and told his bhabhi to respect Sajeeri too as she is bahu of this house. Dadi supported Sanchi initially because she didn’t liked a village girl becoming bahu. But it was not a big hatred issue as Sajeeri with her goodness wins everyone’s heart. Every issues got sort out within few episodes there was no dragging at all. And Sajeeri was financially independent also. She was running a small bakery. After marriage Sajeeri became more confident and here Nalini treated her like her own daughter be it with her make up,sarees . But she never made compromise on her two sides chotees. Shivam really wanted to see her in loose hair. But hardly one or two episodes we will be able to find her like that. I miss the show very much. But I watches it in hotstar when I feels to watch.
I don’t know the names of actors in Khoobsurat. Haven’t watched all episodes. The actress was in prithvi vallabh of sony tv as a supporting cast. Regarding hero I don’t have any idea about him. That was inspired from Karthigai Deepam serial but it was better in Hindi.

Here hero is RJ and heroine gets attracted towards him without seeing him loves his voice and once she express her wish to see him through a letter. His complex fears him and he sends his friend there and the friend introduces himself as RJ. But heroine feels doubt as voice is different. But he manages the situation. So many confusions take place and finally truth is out. Heroine feels she is been cheated so she keeps a distance from him post marriage. Later hero tells why he hide his face and what are his insecurities. She helps him in overcoming those complexes and truely they had so much love. But sad at accident hero is dead and his friend comes again and then heroine gradually likes the friend and later she marries that friend. Show was nice but death of RJ Madhav was very sad.
Chocolate tamil ended abruptly due to covid.Chocolate malayalam was ended in a rush before covid.But it was not abrupt.
